Love is Worth Fighting For is the third book in The Meraki series by Effie Kammenou. It is a contemporary romance with a ‘frenemies-to-lovers’ element, finding love unexpectedly, a bit of a quest, challenges/unforeseen difficulties, faith, history, connection, banter, family dynamics, drama, angst, and endearing characters.
This is Krystina’s story, whom we met in the previous books as she is Kally (Book #1) and Mia’s (Book #2) sister. She had an idea of what she wanted to achieve in her life, but fate seems to have had other ideas. Havin her annoying childhood frenemy around only adds to her frustration. But she begins to see him in another light when unexpected challenges arise and he steps up- helping her through it all. Soon feelings get involved…. and you’ll have to read the story if you want to find out what happens with Krystina and Loukas.
The story could be read as a standalone, but as there are recurring characters as well as a bridging subplot that makes this book/series even more intriguing I highly recommend reading the previous two books before starting on this one.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Effie Kammenou!
