I’ve read the first part of this series and instantly fell in love with it. It’s no different with this part. This part draws you deeper into the story as you figure out who Nurse Morgan is outside of her paranormal powers but are introduced to other characters as well. Watch this story unwind in the land of the living and on the other side as you indulge in this page turner! Enjoy and pick up this great read!

This was a great travel audible book. Emma, age 16, works in the family bakery and holds her own when things get rough. Now, even though she has been trained, she has no experience. But that does not stop her from getting involved. She has a habit of writing things down that seem out of place. Actually that’s clever for someone her age. This was a high energy suspenseful story. Questions asked, and questions answered is what you will find throughout this story. The author has quite the imagination and her story keeps everyone entertained. This is a great story for teens and young readers alike. This is a historical novel, which generally I don’t read, but this one drew my interest. I’m happy I took the chance, and look forward to reading the others in this series.

I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is a well written story that had me coming back for more. I enjoyed how the author used her writing skills to make the story come to life. This is a story that could cause triggers in parts but if you can get past those you will find a story that will tick all the boxes. This is a story about an ex-football player and a single parent who needs more confidence in herself. One risks their heart to be shattered and the other holds the key to opening the heart. These are great characters that I enjoyed watching their growth. They have great chemistry and support each other. They made the story for me for sure. This is a fast paced, engaging story that is hard to put down. I found this story to be easy to read and entertaining. It filled my afternoon with romance and a great story. I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.

She wanted in on all the excitement of conducting experiments but instead finds herself typing up reports and organizing receipts. It’s when Cora and her schoolmate Harrison start seeing that things aren’t adding up that they begin amateur sleuthing. A dinner party will change everything, including how Cora views some things in life.
This was an enjoyable book. It was a moderately fast read for me and I enjoyed the suspense of the mystery. I did figure out pretty early on who I thought the murderer was but did still have a few surprises along the way.

Nathan is popular, drop dead gorgeous and part of the group of popular kids in high school. The girls drool over him and want to be with him, and the boys want to be him. Nathan seemingly has it all but he’s harboring a deep, dark secret that could destroy everything he has worked so hard for. He is so terrified of having his secret discovered that he has built up lie after lie to protect himself. He bullies and torments anyone that is less popular than he is and keeps everyone at a distance so he can keep his secret from being discovered.
Holly has just started attending Nathan’s high school and is determined to be one of the popular kids so she can fit in. On her first day of school Holly approaches Nathan and the rest of the popular kids and asks them if she can sit with them at their table for lunch. She is instantly shot down, mocked, and left to feel inferior. Naturally after treatment like that from Nathan and his friends Holly is disgusted when her and Nathan end up as lab partners. Although she finds Nathan to be gorgeous, she also knows how much of a jerk he is and wants nothing to do with him.
When Holly accidentally discovers Nathan’s secret everything changes. Nathan decides the best way to handle the situation is to pretend to like Holly and ask her out. As both Holly and Nathan get to know one another better they fall deeply in love. When Holly finds out their relationship is a sham and based on a lie she is devastated. When the web of lies start to unwind both Nathan and Holly’s lives are changed forever. Will Holly and Nathan ever be the same afterwards?
The characters of Holly and Nathan were wonderfully written. Both were typical teenagers battling all the typical drama that comes with high school. Holly was a true sweetheart who saw there was more to Nathan than he let on. Nathan acted like a jerk on the surface but that is not who he was nor who he wanted to be. It was all an act to protect himself and enable him to navigate his way through high school. This book was wonderfully written and described very well the cliques, the bullies, the mean girls, the jealousy and all the rest of the teen drama that comes with high school. High school can be traumatizing, and a great deal of importance is placed on fitting in.

This book is absolutely amazing! I read it so fast and it held my attention throughout. This is the kind of romance that isn’t over the top and is very believable. I also felt that the main characters really felt believable. Truthfully, I wanted to be friends with all of them. Tia is the main female character. She has lived a life full of mistakes when she was younger and they are coming back to haunt her. She goes on a cabin weekend with her best friend to act as her assistant on a photo shoot. She wasn’t expecting that this photoshoot was for a calendar of the men of the local hockey team. She decides to indulge herself and allow herself a weekend only fling with the man who seems to get under her skin more than anyone else ever has. Bridger is smitten with Tia and after the weekend, he wishes that their tryst will continue. Tia and Bridger end up falling for each other, however, once they do her past comes to haunt her. She feels that she will never live down her poor choices of her past. Is Bridger the man who is willing to look past her mistakes and see her for who she is today. Or will he be persuaded by her past to run for the hills? This book is truly amazing and I cannot say enough for how much I enjoyed it. It truly is an enjoyable read and a quick one a that.

Rovena Silvex is a demon hunter, but she is no ordinary demon hunter, she has a special set of skills which make her one of, if not the best one, she has killed dozens of demons since she completed her training and she has it down to a fine art, however, sometimes, she is asked to perform other assignments which don’t involve hunting, but they do involve certain aspects of her skill set that are unique to her and tonight is one of those nights, tonight she has to visit the county morgue.
When she is sent to the morgue this time, it is so that she can work out how a victim died and who killed them, however, when she gets there, nothing goes to plan, she finds out the how, but not the who and when she next turns to look at the corpse, its eyes are open and it is holding onto her hand. What happens next is not something she can even process when the corpse attacks her and as she is fighting back, she hears footsteps coming down the hall and she now knows that she has to take the walking corpse with her when she leaves, but it isn’t as willing as she would hope.
With her walking corpse in tow, Rovena heads to the only place where she may get some answers, however, as she spends more time with the deceased, things stop adding up and she realises that it isn’t the victims soul in this body, it is something else entirely and that it is something she has never come across before. Now Rovena has a plan, it isn’t one that she wants to have, she has to babysit this walking corpse and keep them alive, or at least as alive as she can, but when demons come after them, she realises that keeping a demon alive is much harder than killing them! This is a fantasy adventure filled with magic, the supernatural and adventure galore, as a choice has to be made between keeping heaven and hell happy and trapping a demon in a world where they definitely don’t belong.

Such a good read! I was seriously hooked as I read this thrilling novel. It truly had everything I would have wanted as I read, it gave a lot, and certainly had its own level of epicenes. Freaking good read!
Loved the characters and the development they brought to the story. Loved Rovena especially. She had a lot of insight to the world and took her job very seriously. She was reluctant to change, I mean aren’t we all? I loved how danger seemed to follow her, and she would push through it. The author wrote a book that was perfectly done. Funny at times, deep at times, and full of action. I loved it from start to finish. I was hooked, and yes, I desperately need to read the next installment as of yesterday!
Not a book to be passed up. This book and author really bring everything to the table. And gives you sheer enjoyment. A must read for sure. Highly recommend this book and author with no doubt!

Holly is the new girl in school, she has been here before and she is hoping that she won’t have to be here again, but she decides that this time will be different, this time, she will be one of the popular kids, this time, she won’t be an outcast, so apart from the usual first day jitters when she has to introduce herself to each of her classes, but there is one thing she doesn’t expect and that is how gorgeous one of the popular kids is. One lunch, Holly finally decides to try her luck at the popular table, but as usual, it backfires and she is back to being the pariah, back to being insulted and terrorized by the popular kids as they bully her again, so she again gravitates to the outcasts who she knows will take her in and become the friends she needs and wants.

It is a new term at Amberwood Hall Ballet School and Lauren and Katie are excited to talk all about their holidays, but most of all, they are excited to be dancing again! At the end of the last year they had the final performance and it went extremely well and as friends and family watched, so did Grace and Rodney the schools resident ghosts, but as much as the holidays are full of excitement, sometimes being at school can be even more so. Alfie, one of the boys in Katie and Lauren’s year comes back to school with some gadgets which he says can detect ghosts and he is determined after certain events last year that he can prove there are ghosts at Amberwood hall and Lauren is worried for her friends.
As everyone settles in, Katie is becoming more involved with the school newspaper and one of the ideas that she has come up with is a gossip board where news can be shared in a more public way and it starts off brilliantly, with students posting about supernatural happenings around the school, but one day an individual starts posting rumours about Lauren, but she just ignores them. As the term really gets underway a House Choreographics Cup is announced and each house holds auditions for the parts, so when the dancers are chosen and Lauren is one of them, rehearsals take up a lot of the students time.
As these rehearsals continue, the account posting the rumours intensifies and the rumours become malicious and start to affect the close friendship Lauren and Katie share, but who could it be? Amid ghost hunting escapades, rehearsals and defending herself against the rumours, will Lauren have time to investigate the source of the rumours, or will she lose her closest friend in the world? This is a lovely cosy mystery with plenty of twists and turns as the adventures as Amberwood Hall continue in this lovely tale of friendship, trust and lies.

Oh, you can’t help but feel for Cam. Not to mention the others that are swept away via this whirlwind of a decision, change of lifestyle, and knowledge that those you are leaving behind, are those that you will never get to see again. I admire the writing style of this author, the research and information given through this story is well done, and you are bound to learn something while whipping through these pages. The character development, world building, and everything else you could possibly want made for a well polished story for the anyone that loves Dystopian adventures.
This is the first installment, and I have to tell you, I have the remaining four novels of this series already in my shopping cart, though, tempted to purchase the hard copies as I would love to have them on hand in my personal library to read over and over again and to lend to anyone who asks for a good recommendation. To read this series on the other side of our pandemic was a trip, and I am grateful that ours wasn’t nearly as severe as Cam’s world. Highly recommend, and very much look forward to reading the rest, well done!

This is the third book in the series, and it’s a good one! I really enjoyed reading it! It’s a quick little book, but still full of adventure. Once again, it is probably best suited for younger audiences, but it’s still enjoyable for adults! It’s like the ghost version of Percy Jackson! I think I actually might buy these for my little cousin for Christmas this year, excellent books!

There are things you feel you can learn from novels, but rarely is there a novel out there that has you learning how your own emotions work again. That was this one for me. Honestly, I laughed, shook my head numerous times, and cried. Man, did I cry. Happy tears, devastated tears, helpless tears, all of them. This author is something else, and I can’t say enough about her writing that just made me so happy that I read this masterpiece.
The relationship between Katrina, TJ, and Toby is one for the ages. Building, and maintaining a family dynamic is difficult, and I found that this story gave the difficulty the recognition it needs. Having been a single Mom before meeting my partner, the emotions enveloped me immediately, throughout their story. The strength and courage that each of them brought to each other was genuine, and I loved every moment. Not to mention all the precious baby moments. Just when I thought I had my tears in check, the epilogue took that and, well, I will be reading this again soon, and you should too! Highly recommend.

This is a new author to me, so I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to think, but I found a truly unique story that delves into a single parent story and all the drama and angst that comes along with that ride. It really makes you appreciate the men, and women, who are so special and take on the role of loving not only you but your child as well. This book made me cry a lot. From happy tears of joy to sad tears reminding me of my own mom being a single parent and having a difficult time finding someone to love and accept both of us with our flaws. This was a cathartic book in so many ways for me. It is a book I recommend that any single parent read, but it is also a great book just for the story and purpose behind it. Highly recommend reading this book.

Historical fiction is a genre that I have just recently began dipping my toes in the water of. However, I have to say that this book makes me wonder why I haven’t been reading this genre longer. This book follows a group of single women who have made their way on a ship to Canada. They are headed to a city of single miners who are looking for wives. They are all met with a wonderful welcome and quickly the women are getting married off. We meet Alyssa, who is different from the other women in that she isn’t looking for marriage, rather she is trying to get back to England in a day and time where a single woman cannot be on a boat alone. However, she has caught the eye of two of the men who were on the ship with her, professionals and not miners. In Canada, one of the men in the town dies and one of these girls is accused of killing her. The men are in a tizzy and are demanding her to death. Alyssa on the other hand has her misgivings about their assumption and she and the two men who love her set to clear the accused’s name. Which is a very big task given the solidarity of these men. I was amazed to read about the quick thinking Alyssa has and the attention to detail. She definitely has a calling as a detective. However, I also thoroughly enjoyed the side plot of the men vying for her heart. It illustrates to me the old adage that love finds you when you least expect it. I truly enjoyed this story and recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I absolutely LOVED this book. It tells the story of Katrina, TJ, and Toby. Kristina is a pregnant artist who moves to this small town. She ends up meeting the “man from her dreams and paintings.” At a furniture store. They have this whirlwind romance that is truely one made for movies. Kristina has her baby Toby, and her mind starts getting foggy. Things just arent making sense. TJ find kristina over in a ditch and finally makes her get help. This is a story of love, and knowing its okay to get help after having a child if your struggling.

It is rare for me to find a book by a new author that I cannot put down. I am always trying new authors and new books, but only my tried and true authors are the ones that I can read in one sitting. However, this book defies my normal standards and I can honestly say that I could not put it down. The characters are amazing and I truly want to see more of what happens to their romance. This book focuses on a “camping trip” that Sydney is invited on. However, what is one’s typical version of camping this is far from it. While on the trip, people start dying and it is up to Sydney to figure it out. That is unless she loses her mind in the process. I do have to say that this plot is much darker than those I typically read and will provide a caution for that. But this book is amazingly well written and I plan on reading more from this author.

I must start this review by stating, I did not read the first book in this series, and I will be reading it, as well as any others in this series! In saying that, I was okay with picking it up at the beginning. I am totally Fan-Girling over this paranormal romantic book! The comedy of the ghosts interacting with the characters was perfectly placed into this novel and in my opinion is what really makes this novel. I honestly could not put this book down, nor could I wait to turn the page. It is also a quick read, which makes it even better! It is exciting that this author was able to fill this short book full of adventure, comedy, love, and ghosts!

When the publicity of the couple ramps up and a secret from Kiki’s past surfaces, she questions if things can even work out between them given her own reservations and Eric’s hesitancy to be in the limelight. This is a super sweet romance without all the gory details, reminiscent of a Hallmark movie. It’s full of great friendships, repaired sibling bonds, and a couple who genuinely loves one another. I adored this book, and most of the characters in it!

Real love is to be unconditional, right? This isn’t your traditional “single-parent” love story. One never knows how much of an impact your past can have on your future love life until it is brought up uninvited. TJ is handed Katrina’s past confessions, but can he accept them when it goes against his beliefs. While based on a true story, this author did a phenomenal job of putting this story into words. She captivates us with her writing skills and keeps us reeled into the story from beginning to end. Highly recommended read!

Kramer’s Truth or Kill in one sitting because you won’t be able to put it down. This dark, twisted romance will make you question what you thought you knew about yourself. The way Kramer weaves her web of lies, revenge, lust, love, murder, survival, and everything in between is absolutely amazing! Her character development is sublime and her plot line is incredible. The chemistry between Kage and Sydney is *chef’s kiss* flawless. They are complementary to each other in everyway imaginable…where he is dark, she is light; he is tainted, she is pure. But they are both unapologetically themselves and neither of them faults the other for it. The spice factor for this book is off the charts! The heat between Kage and Sydney is palpable and you will be squirming, blushing, and gasping for air by the time the book’s over. I CANNOT wait to read more by A.C. Kramer. I am definitely going to go down a rabbit hole with this author and read everything she’s ever written! I absolutely love her style! There are more books in this series (written by different authors) that I cannot wait to read as well.

This is one of those reads that just hit home and I’m not sure how to put words to what’s going on inside of me …..
First off I just love the cover and think it’ll make a beautiful puzzle to build , frame and mount on the wall and after reading what’s between the pages it will take on a whole new meaning ….
Being a farmer myself and it being harvest season and having labour issues this read was close to home and I identified on so many levels with what was happening ….
My heart just broke for their father and the loss he experiences as a farmer and a man and all I wanted to do was climb into this book and love on theses people
There was so much to this read , it was raw , it was real , it was human ❤️
There was suspense, mystery , romance , forgiveness , grace , tragedy, resilience …. I cried hard , I laughed hard and I worked hard

This is a beautifully written story. The author has filled this story with so many emotions it is a real rollercoaster of a read. The additional twists and turns makes this story so much more than a normal romance. The passion and connection between Kat and TJ is so magical and intense you feel completely drawn into their story.
Kat is a recently divorced woman who moves to this small place where she knows no one. She is planning on creating a new life for her and her baby and she plans on doing this on her own. However fate has a different idea. And that comes in the form of TJ.
TJ used to be a NFL player who after her retired became a chemistry teacher. He has always wanted to settle down in life and have a family. So when Kat walks in to his parents shop she takes his breath away and there is a spark he’s never felt before. But surely she’s married right?
What follows is a beautiful story and along the way we see fate lending a helping hand in this couples lives in a way neither of them expected. But things aren’t always plan sailing and when Kat starts to confess somethings that go against everything TJ knows and believes can they work through it and trust fate and follow their hearts or will their heads and past experiences stop them from being able to make that final leap together?

Soulmates, warriors and universal battles. This is my first book by Tai James and it’s a well written story about forming alliances, battling for your life and the budding romance between two people, An adventure of a different kind. This is the second book in the series and can be read as a standalone. I found this story to be fast paced and engaging. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story. There are twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and had me wanting to read more. A story where love will either survive or will it be the weakness that could get them killed. I really enjoyed reading this book.

I have always loved this author truly! I always read their books with such intrigue and get whisked away into the story and the characters in which it holds. This one was sensational from start to finish. I was hooked, and held, the book had everything I would want and more! Amazing read and writing!
Mia and Dylan were two souls that brought on the heat sort to say. The truth between them though, that was a card that was needed to be played, but what would the consequence be? I loved how the story was such a easy read and the romance had its very own realism. The secrets were vivid as well. The story hooked me spot on, and I was constantly wondering how things would turn out. The twists that unfolded and the turns the story took were unpredictable. I was intrigued all the way through, and I could not put this gem of a book down! Amazing read with sensational writing! Loved it!
As always, I love all the books this gifted author creates and writes. This book was a fast and super good read for me! I was entranced by all it held! Defiantly a must read book and highly recommended by me!

This book really had the heart-warming aurora going on. And that small town feel. I loved the characters and their development they had as I read through! I was swept away, and felt I was transported to the beautiful farm. The book had a lot of heart and was a wonderful sweet read all the way through!
Corrie was a wonderful character; she was strong and did what she must to make it in this thing we call life. She thought she had everything she needed. But perhaps life had other plans. Meeting someone out of the blue, a person she helped in a time of need. The chemistry between them was undeniable but soft and sweet and the same time. Aaron was a sweetie as well, and you could care he generally cared. The book was not easy flow like using a plow all the way through, there were bumps, and I mean some bumps were the type to make you question everything and knock you down. Sometimes faith and a helping hand can make you see and feel otherwise. I loved the power of the heart that was shown in this book, as well as love and trust. All goes hand in hand! And the power of family! Loved it!
Such good read, it was a quick read for me as well. I was very much in touch with the story and the characters as I read. For sure, a high recommendation from myself, and this book is for sure a must read!
