Truth or Kill is a standalone novel but is the second book of the Twisted Legends Collection. Truth or Kill is based on the tale of Kill Switch, a videogame that self-destructs upon completion, making it unknown if it existed or not. In Truth or Kill, Sydney Evans is invited along with her rich classmate for a company retreat, or so she thought. Follow Sydney on her journey through a real-life Kill Switch game, from darkness to light and everything in between.
Truth or Kill is full of relatable characters. The reader can feel their pain, confusion, anger, and many other emotions. Between a family betrayed by those they trusted and Sydney and her own feelings of betrayal, the emotions envisioned are raw and real. I did not want to put the book down.
Full of twists and turns, Truth or Kill kept me guessing. If you are looking for a book full of mystery, darkness, and love, look no further. Truth or Kill is the book to read.
