Twilight’s Spy (Twilight Realm Trilogy Book 1.5) by K.M. Wray – Review by Santana Hicks

Twilight's SpyTwilight’s Spy by K.M. Wray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Yarissa never wanted to be a spy. Her plan was to complete her training and then join the elites, which is a group of warriors. On her last assignment as a trainee, she was to get information on how to cross the Haltiya Ravine. She succeeded when no other elf did. That put her in the eyes of the King and he personally asked her to continue her spy work into the night realm. As much as she didn’t want to go this path, she couldn’t say no to the king. Yarissa’s plan was to complete the mission and return with the favour of the king. The only obstacle is survival and inexperience. A bad combination indeed.

This book was a great short background story of Yarissa, fitting nicely in between book one and two of this series. My only issue with it is that it was kind of repetitive. It felt like the author was just filling in space to make the story longer.
