Euphoric Wonderland by Ryan M. Becker – Review by Jenni Bishop

Euphoric Wonderland: An Eclectic Collection of Psychedelic Poetry to Stimulate the Senses and Open the MindEuphoric Wonderland: An Eclectic Collection of Psychedelic Poetry to Stimulate the Senses and Open the Mind by Ryan M. Becker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3.5 stars

This book is as eclectic and intriguing as its title and its author. Ryan entertains us with his sarcasm, wit and dry sense of humour in light of dealing with pain, mental health issues and life in general with comedic poetry. The poems come at us in all colours, shapes and sizes and rhythms.

You never know what you are going to get. There is something for all the senses except taste and I am sure if Ryan could have done it, he would have.

It is clear he has had a difficult journey and made it out the other side, a little battered and bruised along with some scars but nevertheless he survived.

Having dealt with mental illness I could relate to some of things in this book.
