My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Murder Most Pemberley (Eliza Darcy Mysteries Book 1) by Jessica Berg is an enchanting tale that I love. This book mixes the Jane Austen book, “Pride and Prejudice” characters and their descendants as they encounter everything from romance to murder. Berg’s somewhat comedic writing style is amazing, it brings her characters and all their “quirks” to life.

It was fascinating exploring England and the places from Pride and Prejudice with Eliza Darcy as she visits for the first time. The array of characters she encounters from the hunky Heath to loveable Aunt were just a breath of fresh air. Eliza went on this trip to find answers about her family’s past, but she ended up getting more than she bargained for as she and an array of characters end up trying to solve a murder.

I honestly can’t wait to read the next installment of this series. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book, especially if you’re a Jane Austen fan.
