Salvatore is a fiercely loyal man that puts the mafia first…it’s his job as the don. However, his priorities are questioned when he encounters a beautiful doctor. Adrianna has a mind of her own and does not take kindly to men barking orders at her. However, her job requires her to do just that…and ask no questions. Imagine her surprise when the man she feels an intense spark with is none other than Salvatore. While that spark begins with a feeling akin to hatred, it quickly morphs into something much more passionate. However, Salvatore knows Adrianna is keeping a secret and, when it comes out, it can turn both of their worlds upside down. Will they be torn apart? Or, is their love for each other enough to help them through?

I enjoyed Adrianna’s character and these two were entertaining to read. There was so much going on in the story that I was sucked in! And, as secrets were being revealed, I was excited to see how it was going to affect them. And one of the secrets…WOW…

A great book that I devoured in a sitting and am looking forward to reading what happens next!
