Rafael Marroquin may be quiet, but there is a reason. He does not want to get close to ANYBODY, but he is still helpful if someone needs him. As long as he stays away nobody gets hurt. Ellie Walters is strong and depends on nobody. With her parents gone, she wants to travel her own journey. How will these friends get to the place they want to be? Will there be a romance for them? No Spoilers here! This author is new to me and her book could be read as a standalone. However this one was so good that I must go get book 1 and 2 in this series. This author’s writing is so clear as well as fast paced. I love the characters and even more the strong independent Ellie. Definitely a must read.
