This is the 4th, and final (sob sob) book ina fantastic series that I will definitely read over again. One thing I’d like to add is that, in my humble opinion, the author saved the best till last. This is definitely my favourite book in the series. This one totally tugged at my heartstrings and dragged me through so many emotions. Declan and Renee’s story is heart-breaking yet joyous at the same time. Just knowing what Renee has gone through in the past and how it must be so hard for her to adjust to her new life makes her one of the strongest female characters that I’ve read. And what can I say about Declan? Well, he’s just perfect for her. His, love and compassion shine through and totally melt your heart. I loved reading Declan and Renee’s story, It was difficult to read in parts but all worth the angst in the end. I also loved getting glimpses into the other 3 couples lives and seeing how their relationships are progressing. This is a great book and I’d definitely recommend it, (and the three books that come before it).

A Christmas to remember is a wonderfully written collection of happy sweet reads to help get you in the Christmas spirit. Usually out of every anthology I read, I can find one or two books that I really enjoy But this one was very different. I liked all the books in this collection. Of Course I had a few favorites as I’m sure everyone does.
Mrs Clause was a great read. Abby is left a hefty inheritance but in order to get it she must be engaged or married by her 35th Christmas which is less then 2 months away. She contemplates an agreement with her ex but then decides against it for a shot at true love even if it means she may not get the inheritance if she doesn’t get engaged in the next two months.
Christmas Pizzo was a GREAT read and I loved it. Hated to see it end. I definitely am a fan of Mafia families. Sal and Valentina are adorable. There’s alot of hostility between the 2 families but can Sal and Valentina make everyone see just how much they care for eachother…have cared for eachother since they were so young? Valentina knows the family quite well since she was best friends with Sal’s sister for many years. Loved this book.
Falling for Christmas was probably one of the sweetest happiest reads from me. Gabriel is new to town and everyone dislikes him immediately. He takes over Evergreen Savings and Loan and sends letters out advising of the changes he will be making. One morning he has Natalie and Belle waiting for him and they are not happy. Nat and Gabe are attracted to eachother right away but Nat fights that attraction as much as she can. Gave insists they work together to get him familiar with everyone and their business along with the traditions in their small town. There are some ups and downs. A definite must read.
Merry Mix-ups….what a great title. There definitely was a mix up. Max and Cassi are set up on a blind date and it’s horrible. From the silverware to the top at the sandwich shop. Total mix up. Will it work out in the end? You must read this great book to find out. Alot of great characters aside from Becca. Disliked her from the first chapter.
Copper Penny Christmas was well written. Miranda is a great girl with a head on her shoulders. Her boyfriend is a piece of work. Wil was a friend she met at the animal Hospital and he ended up helping her out at the end with Penny. Good read for sure.
A Rocky Mountain romance was well written. Amity is staying with her sister trying to help out and be there for her while she is pregnant. Amity meets Hank and they right away have chemistry. Will there be a future for them or is this just a stepping stone for Amity. Before she leaves again for a new endeavor ?
Mistletoe Memories – Levi and Gretchen meet while Gretchen is in culinary school. They immediately hit it off and become great friends. Levi Braddock is a well know, most sought after cake designer around. Mistletoe plays a huge part in this book and you definitely want to read this. It’s a sweet read with plenty of bumps in the road. Will Levi and Gretchen be able to overcome all the obstacles? Read this amazing read to find out.

This was a really nice, well written children’s book. I can imagine that this would really spark the imagination of some young readers especially with the way it’s written. It’s nice and clear, easy to follow and has lovely characters. This is the longest children’s book that I have read by this author and I like that she has introduced chapters for the younger reader, a great way to read a little bit each day. Gwendolyn was a sweet character to read about and the author was so creative when writing about her dreams. A really lovely story I would say aimed at 7-12 year olds!
This was such a cozy, sweet holiday novel. This was the perfect book to get me in the holiday spirit. This is a sweet romance story that featured more mature characters – which I loved so much! Savannah is such a sweet main character, I really felt for her as her story unfolded. From it being her first Christmas alone to her time at Howardson’s where she met another lonely soul. Meeting Matthew literally changed her life. I truly enjoyed this story, I found both Matthew and Savannah so sweet and endearing. This is the perfect story to read on a snowy night under the lights of the Christmas Tree.

Hot for Teacher: Shakespeare made us fall in love By: Felicia Carparelli
I want to start out that this book was not at all what I thought it was going to be. This is so much more than two adults engaged in a consensual relationship story. And it doesn’t need a trigger warning, which definitely is something I am so glad for. This book was absolutely amazing. I could not put it down! It is a take on a modern day version of Romeo and Juliet. Juliet is a divorced, grandmother who has a self-imposed vow of celibacy. Jim is a widow and is headed back to college to start to soften some rough edges. Juliet is his teacher. I loved this story. Juliet is very reserved and quiet, afraid of this romance. While Jim is so involved and passionate right from the start. I loved that this is was a second chance romance book. Both of them deserved love and they found it. I also love that the story was told from both characters. Finally, there was an added twist of Juliet being in danger from another former student. I truly loved this story.

This was a great book for learning the science behind mirrors as well as problem solving skills. The illustrations are beautiful in this book.
An enjoyable and engaging historical romance with a time travelling twist, which makes this an unforgettable and original story. The blurb says that it is a tale of heroes, passion, hope and the “consequences of creating extraordinary music amidst the dark nights of war”, and the story does not disappoint! Concert pianist and composer Erin Meyer is swept back in time to Nazi-held France, where she protects the members of the Resistance by ghost-writing music for a very influential German officer. Erin rescues a British pilot, Arick and helps him evade capture, but impossibly she recognises him from her own life and time. Not only is Erin and Arick’s attraction dangerous for them both, but the German officer holding the key to Erin’s return demands more than she is willing to give. She soon finds herself caught up in betrayal and death, performing for her life, as time runs out.
The unique storyline had me hooked from start to finish, and the twists and turns in the plot kept me gripped. I literally could not put this book down, and I felt completely immersed in the story and engaged with the characters. The detailed and descriptive narrative brought both the setting and characters vividly to life. The added historical details made it feel as though I had been transported back in time, and the author has obviously done her research. The characters are so well defined and the chemistry between Erin and Arick really comes across in the story. A definite five star novel, and I am thrilled to have discovered a new author, for me.

This was a quick easy read. Draws you in quick. I do wish there was more detail and character development. In the beginning there is an explanation of everyone but it pretty much stops there. I really like the play in the beginning between the main characters. Not a whole lot of intimate scenes.

So much fun to read to my kids. They loved the adventure and mystery. They keep asking to re-read this book! I always enjoy reading books to my kids that cause them to ask questions and be more engaged in the stories, and this book did just that. Highly recommend.

This is a okay short story. I did not love it just because I felt there multiple spots where either too much information was given or not enough. The story line is cute and has a bit of suspense. The characters are good as the SEAL’s hold up to being their bossy protective selves. There were characters mentioned that did nothing or were never seen in the book. This just leads to cluttering up the story. In my opinion there is also an issue with what person this story was told at times. This leads to confusion fir the reader.
Like I said above this is an okay story. In my opinion with some cleaning up it could be more. The storyline itself is a nice idea which is what led me to picking this up.

This was a beautifully written historical romance. The author does an amazing job of making the historical elements of the story come alive. The romance is so beautiful and so intense that as a reader you feel every single emotion and you really understand the danger and how hard things were at that time this story was set. I love the time travel element too. How our lead character gets transported back in time but love and music still grows and blossoms no matter the time period.
Erin is gifted a box with figures off her grandmother. She doesn’t know what it means until 1 breaks and she finds herself transported in Time to France when it is being invaded my Germany. Now Erin’s life is in danger and she needs to use her gift of music to save herself and help other people escape. When a British pilot turns up she risks her own life to save him which proves their love has transcended through time and space. It’s a heartwarming, captivating read which will keep you turning pages until the end. You won’t be able to put this book down.
Captivating- is the first word that comes to mind when I first began this book. Janet Fogg has beautifully told the love story of Erin and Arick. Erin, a concert pianist and composer yearns to be with her love, Arick, a British pilot; while living in fear of Arick being discovered as they are in Occupied France during World War II. The pages come alive and I felt as if I had travelled through time to witness their love story first hand. With each turn of the page, I wanted to know more, and when I finished, I yearned for more. I would give this book 10 stars and would definitely recommend this book!
This book is a very quick read. It is very well written. It also tackles things that are of heavy circumstances. It hooks you at the very beginning and keeps you attached to the book throughout the whole story. It takes you on a journey of jealousy too revenge. It won’t disappoint if you are looking for something quick that can pack a punch.

This was a beautifully crafted masterpiece that transports the reader back in time. The main character Erin is strong, courageous and an extraordinarily talented pianist and composer. She must be brave and do as the German officer wants to save her friends, herself, and Arick from being put to death. The scenes were rich and vivid allowing the reader to feel as though they are there experiencing the moments the characters are as the story unfolds. You can hear the music as Erin plays the piano. You can see the Gypsy girl swirling around and smell the smoke in the air. You can feel the sense of impending danger and cannot help but continue to read and see how the story ends. This book is a beautiful story of love that transcends both time and place. I highly recommend!

This book was well written. Juliet is divorced grandmother who loves her family and teaches at night. She has a new student names Jim who is a widowed father of grown twin boys and is about 10 years younger then his attractive teacher. There’s an instant attraction on both parts but, Juliet has a wall up around her heart which is hard to break through. Jim is persistent if nothing else and breaks down her walls. I believe Juliet needs a strong man in her life to stand up for her and keep her safe. She’s good at keeping herself safe until she is nearly kidnapped by someone she trusts. Thankfully Jim wasn’t far behind and was able to rescue her. I enjoyed reading this book but, I felt it might be missing something and that’s why I gave it 4 stars

Rex Thompson has had an interesting life, he has made many a mistake and ultimately made the wrong choices both personally and professionally, but the one he regrets the most is while he was a young man serving his country in the Vietnam War, where he committed a felony before he finished his last tour, he has never spoken about it since, especially since moving to Biloxi Bay and becoming a shrimp fisherman. Anh Truong is the daughter of a Vietnamese immigrant living in the small town of Biloxi Bay with her parents, they have a well off family thanks to the hard work of her parents growing their shrimping business from scratch when they arrived into the country.
Rex has tried to do the best he can for his family, but between working and sinking into his vices, he struggles to stay close to his sons, that is until they come to visit one summer and stayed, but it has not been smooth sailing for these three, as Rex struggled against his vices again and his sons ending up paying for it when they had to look after themselves from a young age, however, without a good role model, they have grown into a couple of ne’er do wells, filled with resentment. One day they are left to their own devices and caught in a strong belief that a particular fisherman had done them wrong, they decide to scuttle his boat, what they do not know is that he was not able to escape and drowned.

OMG! What a twist! What an ending. You will think you have this figured out before the end but you could be wrong. I know I was-ish.

You will stay glued to the pages as they go flying by to find out not only who the killer is but if Trudy and Ben survive. Love this series. Another great addition.

This is a cute story about a Thanksgiving turkey, Albert, who gets pardoned by the family who buys him for their Thanksgiving dinner. We get to see the point of view of the turkey and his emotions as the family debates what to do. Ultimately, the family decides to vote on it and the turkey gets to go to the Turkey Pardon Park to live out the rest of his days. It’s a cute Thanksgiving story with colorful illustrations.
I absolutely loved the book that was written prior to this one. I was hooked with this one just as much, maybe even more! The story is a thrill ride, and you never know what will happen next!
First off, I must say visually speaking the book was amazing. The fine details of art and places, really brought the story to life for me, and truly held me to the end. Of course Nick and his spouse were great characters as well. I love how as you read, the story builds, suspense, action, and hope re strong Nick is wanting to free those in need of help. (relation to the first book) and there is danger at every turn. I love the writing and how incredible this book is! Its a divine read, and seriously fantastic! Loved this one!
Wonderful follow up to the first book. This one had its own magic on me as the prior, I could not put it down. A must read for sure! Highly recommend this must read book, author and series!

I love this author literally for everything they write and create. I am never disappointed by anything that they bring to life! This book was a gripping read, that held my interest with ease! Great read!
I loved the series the author has written prior, and I am so happy that they started this one. I love the characters, the girls were strong minded,who have their life set up for them as if on a map, but should they not be able to choose their own destiny? I loved how realistic the story was , the girls in college abiding to the rules laid before them. Loved Sofia to make clear! The story was passionate, deep, dark at times, and even devastating in moments. Could not put it down! Truly a tight and gripping read! Loved it!
I can never pass up a book by this amazing author! I love how they grip the reader with their talent and strong characters. Needless to say, I highly recommend this must read book and author!
Ok so I will admit I might have squealed a little when this book became available! I absolutely love this series. These characters are strong and wonderful. I loved reading this story. The women are the best parts of this series. This story is a look into how they became who they did.
What an amazing story! Swept into the musician’s emotions, I vividly recalled how I felt when playing my flute with an orchestra. I think that time travel is my favorite genre of books to read. World War Two is my favorite historical setting for books. I was in hog heaven! I couldn’t put this book down, and read the entirety in one sitting. Clear your calendar- once you start reading this tale, you, too, will be unable to do anything else until you are finished reading it.
Having read the other books in this series I instantly snatched this one up when I saw it. I have just discovered this author in the last couple of years but she is quickly becoming my favorite. Her characters are amazing and realistic, the plot always has me on the edge of my seat, and overall her writing always leaves me wanting another book. While this is a prequel it can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend reading the whole series. The drama, suspense, and the romance is all amazing and personally I hope she gives us more to this amazing series.
Savannah is a widow and mom who is struggling with the fact that she will spend the holidays without her family since her son has made other plans. She makes an incredible decision to visit a gorgeous location for a special holiday vacation at The Blue Spruce Inn in the gorgeous mountains in New Hampshire. The Inn’s holiday itinerary makes Savannah crave to be there ASAP. So, she has chosen to save money by limiting her spending which is always a good idea.
While visiting Howardson’s around Halloween time, she reminisces about life with her young son when visiting the location during the holidays, specifically Christmas time. Their Christmas displays were always impeccable and memorable. Little did she know that by visiting Howardson’s on that date would literally change her life forever. A chance meeting with a handsome man results in the receipt of an intriguing proposition. She was not immediately sold on the idea, but charming Matthew was able to change her mind.
This delightful story follows Savannah and Matthew’s adventure in learning about themselves and each other. I found Savvanah’s sense of humor charming. Matthew’s personality, especially after meeting Savannah was quite endearing as well.
I really enjoyed how the author built up the imagery of the Inn and I found myself wishing I could visit the location around the holidays. Who wouldn’t enjoy a gorgeous mountain vacation!?
This story was funny, dramatic and sweetly romantic. I think most readers will enjoy the journey and getting to know the characters as they progress and grow.

This topic hits close to home for me. The story does an amazing job when it comes to the genuine struggle with trauma. Kate and Tilly have been through so much, and yet, they still do what they can to help other people despite everything. I look forward to the next one.

I cannot get enough of this world Amy McKinley has created! The Mafia Elite series is one of my favorites and I will quickly pick up any book that she writes!! All of the characters have unique personalities and there are thrilling twists and turns throughout each focused story.
This prequel is just what we needed. It gives us more insight into how the families are connected and shows us a rare glimpse of what the women in different families do to maintain their independence when they are promised to marry someone whom they did not choose. I couldn’t put it down! I am glad to have these little insights into the interworkings of these Mafia families.
