This is the first book in the Chase Care series and is 520 pages in length. This story follows Dr. Hunter Montgomery and Dr. Selma Bryant. Dr. Montgomery lost his partner and then becomes the Chief Medical Officer. Who knew the past would come crashing back in. Dr. Bryant served in the Army and then ends up in Dr. Montgomery’s OR. Dr. Bryant leaves to help render care at an African refugee camp, but can she run far enough away from Dr. Montgomery?
