Taming Brooklyn was simply an amazing read. From the hotness you want, to the structure of the characters and a story line that draws you in. I could NOT put this book down and read it in a full afternoon. From page one, I was attached and wanted to read more. Brooklyn and her past draw you into the story and then meeting the Four Kings simply make her shine. Aiden, Gideon, Jaxon, and Oliver truly bring so much to her, and each bring so much in different ways the table instantly that you know, why should she choose? This is a new author for me but one I want to read more of. I liked the hot scenes, I liked getting to know about each character, and the buildup of a great story line!!

A foreign acting company has come to Rome to put on a play to raise funds for a crumbling old theatre when suddenly one of their actors winds up dead. Detective Scala ends up with the task of solving the murder which initially seems easy enough. The last person to see the victim becomes the prime suspect who just happens to have been caught on surveillance leaving the area at the same time as the murder. The disappearance of the prime suspect makes them look even more guilty until their body is also discovered. Detective Scala now figures that there must be more to the case than initially suspected and starts to dig farther. As he digs farther into the life of the victim he learns that she had her own deep, dark secrets. It is up to Detective Scala to figure out what the victim’s secrets were before more innocent lives are lost.
This murder mystery was brilliantly written, and I was in awe of the determination Detective Scala had to solve the case. He really sunk his teeth into the mystery and would not let go until the case was solved. The more Detective Scala looked into the murders the more layers of the proverbial onion he was able to peel back. The case turned out to be far more complex and involved than he originally thought but it only made Detective Scala work harder to uncover the truth. He was hyper focused, determined, hardworking, diligent, and smart. Detective Scala is the type of person you would want to have on your side. A great book full of action, suspense, mystery, intrigue, and a few twists and turns that will take you by surprise!

I’ve loved all of the ones I’ve read so far and this one is no exception. Belinda Williams writes a man just like you want him! Tall, handsome, irresistible, slightly naughty, and a heart of gold.
I am so sad to see the Pierce Brothers storylines end because they are the perfect romance to me. I laugh, I cry, and I want more from all of them.
The characters are well-written, the story is heartbreaking but lighthearted enough that you don’t dwell on the pain too much.
If you struggle with stories about loss or COVID is a tough topic for you, this story may be one to avoid for now.
Sooo, the Pierce Brothers have friends, right? Can we get some of them next?

This was a fantastic read and I felt like it really had something for everyone. From romance to paranormal, to mythology, warriors, and lots of danger, you really embark on a journey throughout this read.
This author built an incredible fantasy world one that can really immerse you into the story and keep you flipping pages wanting to know more. More about the world, the characters, and what will happen. Her writing style really brought the world to life and made it believable; I think that was my favorite part.
Absolutely beautifully written and will definitely reread it in the future! Can’t wait to see what else she has in store.

I loved this cute and sometimes outrageous story about Chase and Hollis. The characters are well written, quirky, and fun. These business neighbors come up with some pretty good pranks on one another until one assumed prank ends up threatening the not-so-friendly bantering nature of their relationship and turning it into something more serious. As they try to work together on a common goal, things get a bit steamy; with all that heat between them as frenemies, it’s easy to see that translate into some bedroom tension. The question is whether or not the can both maintain their take on the world themselves attitude while simultaneously learning to trust and depend on each other. Such a fun read! I’m looking forward to reading some of the other books in this series.

Cash and Hollis are neighboring business owners who communicate via pranks and sarcasm. Cash’s misconception of Hollis seems to be the reason for this strife but the reason for their initial tension was never clear so I’m still left wondering why they hated each other to begin with. I really wanted more reason for this than it being a man’s misconception on a strong, independent female. This concept never sits well with me and it led me to not enjoy Cash’s character for the majority of this book. Hollis was an incredible character with love, courage, grace and a down to earth nature that doesn’t fit into her family’s visions for her future. While Cash annoyed me, the storyline did evolve nicely and kept me engaged. Good read with a nice cast of supporting characters.

I loved the story! I read it as an e-book and now I want a paperback copy so I can save it on the bookshelf for my daughter to read. I feel this is a very good book for middle schoolers starting to get into reading or venturing into the fantasy genre. There’s adventure, betrayal, and magic. My only complaints are Auntie and the other stories. I wish the other stories were longer but considering this book is targeted for a younger crowed they make sense. I was annoyed by Auntie because I was feeling more a childlike personality than someone who was forgetful on things. I really loved Zarina’s character growth. She’s so spoiled and doesn’t try to hide it. I’m glad interacting with people throughout the town has helped her change her ways. This book also has illustrations. I loved the map and thought the pictures of Zarina were perfect.

Creatures of the Night was a great read. I don’t find many fantasy books that I can really get into, but this one I really liked. Creatures of the Night was a mix of paranormal and mythology. You could really see that the author worked hard on writing this. This book was a page turner for me and I couldn’t put it down.

This is the 4th book in the Inspector Scala Mystery series. Thankfully these books can be read as standalone books as i haven’t read the previous 3 books yet. This book was a gripping murder mystery, full of twists and turns that keep you guessing from beginning to end. The story contains many secrets and lies and people who aren’t who they make themselves out to be. Add to this the curse of Macbeth and it all added to a story you won’t be able to put down. We start with a theatre company hired to put on a show of Macbeth but when one of the members of the acting company turns up dead it is up to Inspector Scala to solve the case and find the killer. After initially thinking the last known person was the suspect the Inspector soon realises just how wrong that assumption is and as the victims life starts to become more clearer secrets start to emerge which I didn’t see coming. If you love gripping murder Mystery with characters that are complex then this is definately a book for you.

Ruthless Hawke is the first book in The Hawke Second Generation Series and holy cow what a ride. I knew going in I was going to love this book ,I’m a huge fan of the Hawke Family and looks like second generation as well. Her books are packed with action, drama, some suspense and just enough sizzle to keep you turning the pages. We met Jack and Isaac in tbe prequel so we had a idea of what was going on but dang I wasn’t totally expecting the story to explode off the pages. These two wow! I don’t want to give away anything. I highly recommend reading this book I can promise you won’t be disappointed I know I sure wasn’t. I look forward to many many more books by this author.

Who wants him dead and why? The journey to find out the answers brings them closer and the attraction becomes hard to ignore. As Byron and Kai get closer, Kai begins to feel sadness because of how his previous relationship ended. Not wanting it to happen again.
When I saw an MM romance, I had to read it. I don’t want to give too much away. It took some time for me to get into the story, but once I did, I could not put the novel down.
This novel is part of the Star Crossed Celestial series but it can be read as a stand-alone. I hope there is more novels in this series.
Emotional rom-com I love this series. This is the fourth book in the Pierce Brother series and it had me all sorts of emotional. This is Noah’s story and how Amy came into his life. There’s a lot to pull at the heartstrings from loss and heart ache to becoming a parent and finding love. Highly recommend this whole series.

Emotional This is the second book in the Made in Heaven series and I loved it as much as the first. Cameron, Reed and Jocelyn have so much to work through to get to their happy ever after. There’s mystery, paranormal, drama and, of course, romance. The chemistry is sizzling. I really enjoyed the down-to-earth feel from the characters. They weren’t flashy or fake. A great addition to the a wonderful series. Recommend.

Finding Bryce is a happily ever after sort of story. Pippa has left her ex husband in jail, changed her name and started a new life. She doesn’t go out a lot but one night finds herself out at a masked party, with a friend, and unexplainably drawn to a handsome stranger. She uncharacteristically has a one night stand, and to keep the excitement alive, they do not exchange information or even remove their masks. 9 months later, baby Bryce is born and Pippa has no way to tell the masked stranger that is his father. When Pippa and little Bryce are suddenly in danger, Diesel is the only one who might be able to save them. I have to start by saying that I think that this could be an amazing story. It has a great storyline, now it just needs someone to fill in the details. I enjoyed reading it but was left wanting a lot more. I am someone who likes to get lost in the book. I like them to come alive so I can imagine the story happening as it unfolds. This book did not feel like you were there watching it happen. Instead it felt more like someone was telling you a crazy story that happened to their friend a long time ago. There was not time to develop the characters or their relationships. I think that the author had a great idea for a story and it is a solid foundation. Now it just needs to start building on that foundation. That being said, if you are someone who enjoys their books short and sweet, you will probably really enjoy this novel.

Real Movie Hero is a story of a man named Reed, who is excited to sit and watch a good movie that he won tickets for, and even more excited when a beautiful girl sits next to him. But his luck took a turn for the worse when an man started shooting up the theater. He jumps into the role of protector and is intrigued as the girl steps up to help too, even though it is clearly out of her comfort zone. Like the first book in this series, this book has a great foundation and some great ideas behind it, but for me, lacks authenticity, due to it’s lack of details and story building. It is like someone is telling you a story that happened to someone else and they are summing it up, without going too far into detail. If you enjoy short stories that you can read quickly, you will definitely enjoy these books. If you are someone who likes to imagine it happening as you read, you will probably be left wanting more. I still recommend it, as the story is entertaining, as long as you know you are getting the quick version.

Emissary is my 4th or 5th MM book I’ve read. I’ve really enjoyed reading romances from different points of view. I fell in love with both Malakai & Byron’s characters. I really liked the star-crossed lovers aspect. The whole forbidden love thing makes it 100x better. This is a great read. Once you get started you won’t be able to put it down. The story is full of love & mystery…it’s steamy, action packed & unpredictable. Now I must read The Watcher!
What can I say…amazing! The author comes back with this second generation and captivates the reader with action, drama, and steam! I was enthralled with the story and, as always, the character development, relationship development, and world building was outstanding.
I loved the teaser given before this book and picking up in their story to see how their worlds collide and intertwine. Jack and Isaac’s story is unique and makes for an interesting read full of twists and turns. Isaac will stop at nothing to protect Jack and his daughter Vivi, but can work out in the end?
If you’re looking for a fast-paced, steamy read, this one is for you! I can’t wait to read more of this new generation (pick up the first generation of you haven’t already too)!

Although you don’t have to read the prequel I definitely suggest you do to get more insight on the history between Jack and Isaac, and where those events led to this book. The Passion and heat between Jack and Isaac is tangible even after all those years apart. And with Dom gone you get to see what other mobsters took his place And with one bad guy down another Looms and the shadows over the hawk family. Isaac is a lot like his father ( more ways than one AHAHAHA )and I love how the author puts in certain personal issues that makes the characters seem more realistic and relatable to us nomads. Also the action will have your heart pumping and trying to quickly read to get to the next page To see what happens next, And boy is the next page you’d better than last. I love love love seeing all the OG characters being parents And saying where their kids landed the rest of the stories I cannot wait till June For the next book. Counting the days.

This is the fourth book of the Pierce Brothers Series and I’m a first time reader of this author Belinda Williams. So far I’d say she’s an amazing writer and really knows how to tell a story. This book had me going through emotional ups and downs, but I loved that they got there happily ever after. Noah and Amy are soo freaking adorable together and with Amelia. I’m already sad this is the last book fingers crossed for a spin-off. But at least I get to go back to read the Victoria and Seth story along with the other two stories involving the brothers.

The real Movie Hero is the second book in the Green Brotherhood SEAL Team. While I read and finished this book this hours after finishing the first book, it could be read as a stand alone book. This series is following the SEALS from a specialized unit who are one by one finding the women of their dreams. In the second book, Reed and Christie meet at a movie premiere. Christie is dressed to the tens in her 1940s style dress and impeccable peep toe heels which Reed appreciates in all its glory. Everything is going fine, Reed is enjoying Christie and the movie when he notices an activity shooter. Pure instinct and adrenaline rushes to the forefront. Finding Bryce by Debra Parmley is an amazing book! This is one of the few books that I read within hours of beginning. The storyline is fast paced, filled with twists and turns. So, I read the prequel to this a couple months ago, and lemme tell you, I was not expecting how this book started. The author does such a good job of keeping your attention! I couldn’t put the dang book down! I was so addicted to it! Also, Isaac? The best. Absolute chef’s kiss. “There is no god, only me.” I was swooning over this man and their chemistry for so much of the book. Definitely one of my top books of the year so far!!

I’m obsessed with this series and I hope the author doesn’t stop at two books. I recently read the first book and I was excited to jump into Ocean’s Three. I kind of liked Ocean’s Three better. These books are a different perspective on soulmates/romance. Who knew soulmates could be more than two people. This book gives you that and so much more. Plus it gets any woman’s fantasies churning when you jump into a MMF romance. I wouldn’t believe you if you told me otherwise, but I digress. Cameron, Reed, and Jocelyn meet in their dreams. Not very conventional but it works. Of course Cameron and Reed being cousins know it’s not just a dream. That it’s very real vivid situations that they discuss between one another at length. Jocelyn on the other hand doesn’t feel they are real, so she does what she feels is best to protect her heart. She cuts them off. That is until a very real Cameron and Reed show up on the same cruise she’s on for work. Now what? This is their adventure. This is their story. The author pulls you in and gets you invested. You feel what the characters feel at times, which I attribute to great writing. When an author can get one emotionally invested in their work, it just shows how wonderful their work actually is. And this author definitely has me invested. This may be the second book in this series but it’s no way connected to the first book. It’s very much a standalone novel. One worth reading. Me, I would recommend you read both and decide which one you enjoy more, but that’s just me. I guarantee you will enjoy both!

This one wasn’t my favorite. However, I still enjoy Caspian stories so much! His grandpa is such a imaginative character! And I loooooooove the “unbirthday gifts”.
This is the fourth book in the War of Destiny series. Lane wishes for his home as he’s fleeing from the Vampire King. Will he find a way to survive and find his home again? I unfortunately did not read the previous books. However, I found myself getting pulled into this story mainly because of the great writing by the author. As you read, you can imagine the danger, adventure, violence, and so much more that Lane is feeling. It’s hard not to turn the page to see what happens next. I will be looking for the other books in this series. I’m sure I missed some aspects of the story and I would like to read about Lane’s prior experiences.

This was a terrific paranormal romance full of steamy scenes and tons of chemistry. I didn’t realize it was the second book in the series, so I just downloaded the first so I can get the full experience. That being said, I wasn’t lost reading this as a standalone and loved it just the same. Cameron, Reed, and Jocelyn have the most amazing chemistry together and the emotions reeled me in. It felt like a rollercoaster of feelings with happiness, grief, mystery, plenty of steamy romance with MFM relationship. I highly recommend picking this one up and going on this sultry adventure with these three beautiful characters. I’m off to read the first one in this series and catch up. I can’t wait to see what else the author has in store for us, especially if it involves Cameron, Reed, and Jocelyn!

Another entertaining and spooky installment of the Madame Chalamet Mysteries! This is truly my favorite mystery series in a long time! Things just keep getting more intense with every book and volume Three Spirit Guide is my favorite so far! Not just the feelings between Tristan and Elinor but with what we learn about The Morpheus Society and possibly Elinor’s fathers killer! I cannot wait to get my hands on the fourth book in this addicting gaslamp fantasy series, Grey Lady! Byrd Nash had me on the edge of my seat! Spirit Guide was a quick paced and fun read! You can really feel Tristan and Elinor’s pent up attraction to one another and it feels genuine. I highly recommend this series to any mystery lover who enjoys when the ghosts are real! I also recommend starting with book One, Ghost Talker, to truly experience Madame Elinor Chalamet and Duke de Archambeau/Tristan Fontaine’s journey from the beginning!

Optimistic Amy becomes a nanny while attempting to get along with her more cynical boss Noah. This book has all the trademarks of a rom-com but dives deeper into the trials and tribulations some books tend to skim over. I love how the author showcased the characters in such a way that they were beyond the page and came to life from the first chapter! Though this is a short book, I felt the pace was perfect and the storyline flowed well, allowing the reader to organically ride the emotional rollercoaster throughout. I read this book out of order, but will circle back to read some of the others in the series!
So this is the first book I have read by this author and this is the type of book I dream about. Great characters, a story that keeps me turning the pages, and a world that I just can’t get enough of. Lucky for me I can go back and read about the first generation of the Hawke family. But back to this amazing book. When Issac and Jack met five years earlier, they never knew what would come that weekend. Now here they are trying to keep Jack and her daughter safe from threats made to her parents. Can Issac keep them safe? Can he get her to stay if he can?
