In the story, Falling Home, we follow Ginny and her life and love. I didn’t read the Buckeye Falls series in order so I knew a bit about Ginny already from book two. This didn’t deter me from reading Falling Home since it was just Ginny’s life story and reminding love. It was nice to see another person in the series’ story come to life. I definitely recommend the Buckeye Falls series.

I love little stories that show small town life with big dreams. That is exactly what Libby Kay did with the story Falling For You. CeCe has a past that brought her to Buckeye Falls, where she has made a great life but she is missing love. Is Evan gonna be the missing piece in her life or will her past creep up on her and ruin everything. Falling For You is realistic in the sense of things that could be happening in the world that we just don’t know about. Perfectly wrote fiction with big dreams and realistic life.

This is an amazing historical mystery. It is very well written with really enjoyable characters. I truly love that this features a sister who is trying to get justice for her sister. Kenna is such a well developed character with many facets to her. She is the granddaughter of an earl who really lost it all. Not to mention that the plague is all around. But Kenna doesn’t let this all deter her from finding the person who murdered her sister. This story really kept me reading to find out what would happen next. I really truly recommend this! I loved it so much!

This is the second book in the Buckeye Falls Series. I have read the first book, but this one definitely functions as a stand alone. I am definitely a sucker for a good small town novel, especially a small town romance. This book and all of the Buckeye Falls Series delivers on the quintessential good vibes of a small town romance. I love all of the characters and truly wish that I lived in Buckeye Falls. In this one, we focus on CeCe and we see how her past has shaped her future. She wound up in Buckeye Falls to escape her past. Evan is a sweet, patient soul. He is also the optimist that CeCe needs. This is the sweetest romance that I definitely recommend!

This book is so good! One of the best mafia stories I have ever read. However, it definitely comes with plenty of dark moments and a trigger warning that should definitely be read and taken into consideration. Nazario and Viviana are very complex characters and I really enjoyed reading them. They were definitely one of the most complex couples I have ever read and I definitely was unsure how each was going to act at any time. This book was full of passion and emotion and of course revenge. I definitely recommend this!
This second book in the Buckeye Falls series definitely hit the spot! It was such a sweet romance and I loved all of the characters. This time you get to read CeCe’s story. Learning more about her past you see why she keeps her distance. She came to Buckeye Falls to disappear and escape her past. Then Evan smiles his way into her heart with his sweet optimism. Both of them have things in their past that make them question themselves and the paths they are on. CeCe is strong willed, and Evan may just be the patient heart she needs. This story can definitely be read as a stand-alone but why miss out on a sweet romance in book one! I am already looking forward to book three!

Max knows he was absent in his marriage, he just wants Ginny back. Now she is home and he has an opportunity to win her back, can they forget the past and make a fresh start?
This was a fun one. I especially liked the fact that the author let the characters have honest emotions. I thought this book was filled with a lot of the emotions one would have about returning home to a past that held hurt, hope and more. Really good story.

Even after reading the warning that this book came with, it was much darker and more intense than I expected. It pulled me in as soon as I started reading it and I just had to know how things would turn out. This author always knows how to create a memorable story and this is easily one of the best that she has done. I loved how dark ad gritty it was and could have read more. The characters were all so integral to the storyline. They were strong and all really added their own mark. You could see their development as the book went on and it was genuinely fascinating to watch. I loved this story and I cannot wait for whatever is next from this author.
When it first started this book it had me intrigued but it did take me a little while to get fully into the story completely but once I did I enjoyed it. Just remember just because I took my time it won’t mean you will too. We are all different after all. Noelle Frost and Nikolaus Klaus are great characters with fun back and forth banter who I really enjoyed. When they first met and her family was so over bearing I wanted to yell at them myself Lol. They are basically bikers from rival clans with obvious attraction to each other and her family absolutely hate that!! Eventually though their attraction becomes so much more. With so many secrets all around them its inevitable that their path is not a smooth one. I don’t want to say too much about the actual storyline as I know I would just give way too much away. You need to read this for yourself. I will definitely be returning for more!!

This novel was sweet! I loved the rivalry between the business neighbors. Ale’s Fair in Love and War is an enemies to lovers’ romance. The author sucks you in with a fun playful game of pranks and animosity by the main characters. I’ve read enemies to lovers romances before I feel this one was one of the more playful happy ones. Cash and Hollis have a love/hate relationship. Constantly playing pranks on one another, Hollis goes as far as sending a glitter bomb Cash’s way. But when the Health Inspector makes an unexpected visit to Cash’s brewery, he thinks it’s another one of Hollis’s games and doesn’t take it seriously. Unfortunately it’s very much serious and he has 3-4 weeks to make about 25k worth of upgrades or his brewery will be shut down. Hollis steps in and offers to help, thinking her stepfather is behind it. Cash may have been resistant at first but was glad for the help. In turn they realized they weren’t that different. Do they succeed in raising the money needed for the upgrades? What about their budding chemistry? This book makes you smile, makes you frown, it also makes you laugh if you appreciate the author’s humor. But one thing it does is genuinely bring a smile to one’s face. I look forward into digging into book 2 as well as other books by this author.

Taming Brooklyn (The Club Kings Series Book 1) by Charlotte St. Pierre. This is a bang of a first book in a series. Its the story of Brooklyn who has not had an easy past so when it comes to guys she’s not going to just walk off with the first one around. Emotionally Brooklyn might not be ready for a new romance but when she meets Oliver and Jaxson its more of a lust factor and not a romance but with Gideon and Aiden its more of a slow and steady wins the race type of thing. She invites them into her bedroom but not her heart and when her past comes back to haunt her they will protect her at all costs. Will she finally be able to relax and give her heart away? This book is full of all the things, more than one partner, assault and abuse so be prepared for triggers. Its a great first read.

I really enjoyed this YA historical romance and I loved the glimpse that the author gave us into historical Scotland. I thought the story was a really interesting and well written one. The pacing was great and I found myself connecting with the story easily. The main character really added to the storyline. She was strong and had such a feistiness about her that you couldn’t help but like her. I thought this was all a perfect combination and I found that I couldn’t wait to see how things would play out. This was a brilliant story that appeals to a wide audience and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Phew! Make sure you read Ms. Storm’s trigger warning note before you begin! If, after that you still are in you won’t be disappointed. Our FMC lost her vivacious best friend in a NYC girls trip. In an effort to get revenge she transforms herself from studious and shy to a femme fatale with the help of a mafia family. Using her skills she becomes the mistress of the head of the Vaccaro crime family but has feelings for the son. The MMC doesn’t want to be distracted by his father’s mistress. He has goals, take down his father then take over as head of the family. Both are at odds with one another while fighting their desires. While it does get dark and does have a couple of slow parts, ultimately the story is 1000% worth the journey!
I loved returning to Buckeye Falls and reading the story of CeCe and Evan. This author has created a gorgeous town filled with wonderful characters that I really hope I get to read about over and over again. CeCe is very much shaped by moments of her past and even though her attraction to Evan is strong she is very hesitant to break her no dating co workers rule! Meanwhile Evan is being the perfect friend all while wanting so much more! Their story is heartfelt, wonderful and should not be missed! I can’t wait to go back to Buckeye Falls to see what is in store next!

While they are navigating what they are to each other – enter a food truck competition that has CeCe in a state. This competition could mean so much to the diner as a business and CeCe’s hesitation comes from a place of broken hearts, her ex is the famous chef that is running the competition. Will CeCe and Evan find each other through the road blocks that keep popping up?
This was so sweet and heartwarming! The little town is filled with kindness and a dash of small town gossip. This story of CeCe and Evan’s friendship/ relationship is the cutest. The hesitation and the bravery between CeCe and Evan was captured with such heart and soul. I had already fallen in love with Buckeye Falls and its people during the previous book “Falling Home”, this just had me falling harder. I really enjoyed Evan’s relationship with his sister Malory – it really felt like a ride or die! And the “friends family” of the diner staff was uplifting and really embraced the true meaning of family.
Libby Kay is fast becoming a favourite author of mine. I thoroughly enjoyed the writing and most certainly recommend romance readers give their heart to the Buckeye Falls crew! I cannot wait for the next adventure!

I think C.A. King had a real opportunity to make Zoe a real heroin. A great chance to make a strong leading lady, but she spent the entire book confused about who she was, what she was doing and who she wanted to be. This in turn kept me a bit confused throughout the story as well. Ended up getting tricked by multiple men in her life and just never really developed into a solid character. The men were extremely unlikeable. I was also unsure how much time passed in this book. It read like it was a matter of days, but then some instances eluded to it being a very long time.

New to me author and I am so glad I got to read this one. Had everything I look for in a book and I thought the introduction of Dean and Rae was terrific. Sizzling chemistry, I enjoyed every moment of this book. Would be perfect reading material for a lazy day.

I really enjoyed this! It wasn’t entirely what I was expecting, it was a lot darker, but I enjoyed that it was different and not the same typical story I was used to reading. The chemistry between the two main characters, Viviana and Nazario, is charged and well written, you can feel it come off the pages. They are both such strong characters, written so well and even though there were frustrating moments where you want to knock some sense into them and scream at them to just communicate, these ‘flaws’ in the characters work for their personalities and the story. There are elements to the romance (and other plot points) which can be very dark and I would not recommend this as a read for everyone, but if you enjoy dark, suspenseful, steamy novels, then this book is for you. Please make sure you read the trigger warnings before reading and seriously consider whether this book is right for you. The book is very well written and flows nicely. My only criticism would be that on occasion things could feel unnecessarily repetitive, relaying information already obtained etc. but this was such a minor issue, it didn’t detract from the story for me. The author has a great way of writing that pulls you in so not only do you see yourself in the settings, but you also find yourself feeling the emotions of the characters which was both thrilling, and heart-breaking. This was my first book by this author, but it most certainly won’t be my last!
I recommend this book, but as previously stated read the trigger warnings first! This book is not for everyone.
This was such an amazing read! It had action, suspense, and so much more. The book does have warnings for triggers, so if you are triggered easily it wont be the book for you. I love how it had a lot of twist and turns. This book was also unpredictable. I had no idea what was going to happen next. Deadly Intentions was definitely a page turner. 5 out of 5 stars for me!
Ale’s Fair in Love and War is an entertaining read. The main characters, Hollis and Cash. Hollis owns a pet grooming company and Cash a brewery. To say they do not get along is an understatement. The two play pranks on each other constantly, until one prank goes too far. Hollis and Cash will have to work together to solve their predicament. This story was fun to read from beginning to end, and the banter between the two characters had me laughing though out the book.

A Dress to Remember by K.L. Small is a sweet coming-of-age fairytale. We start by meeting Princess Zarina – the 13th child of the King and Queen of Cygnia. She’s lovely, spoiled, and about to receive her Royal Advancement Ceremony. Princess Zarina feels she needs a dress that everyone will remember so she decides to travel to an dress maker who’s is said to make dresses that are almost magical. She quickly learns to be careful what you wish for as her truly magical dress starts her the journey of a lifetime! I loved the character development we see and enjoyed the unexpected twists Ms. Small added. I will definitely be reading more of her work!

Falling for You by Libby Kay is the second book in her Buckeye Falls series. This book brings back previous characters but focuses on CeCe and Evan. Though we got glimpses of their characters in Falling home, now we get to see how their story unfolds. This is another winner if you love a soft romance with wonderful characters.

This book is the second in a series. It reads just fine as a stand alone. I enjoyed the story, but I definitely wished there was more! Christie Anderson attends a movie premiere and meets Reed Tindal. Reed’s protective nature takes over when someone shoots during the movie. I felt like the characters were relatable, and I could see myself in Christie. The language in it was mild which I personally liked. It was a sweet, relatable short story that was fun and fast to read.

Until one night he sees the blonde woman with his father.
Viviana has trained for this moment to seek revenge for her friend and killing Nazario’s father is her soul mission even if it means death.
Oh I love a good Mafia novel and this one is brilliant. I have read many by this author and they do not disappoint, with the driven storylines and brilliant writing you are emersed in the dark world of the Mafia and it is fascinating to read. I loved that Viviana was a strong character with determination to do anything to seek revenge but showing the passion she had in the end for Nazario was an emotional rollercoaster. Nazario’s vulnerability towards Viviana and how she has the power to destroy him but that she is worth the risks. There are some hard parts to read regarding abuse and violence, but I think this adds to the characters of the leads in this book.
I can’t wait to read more books by this author going forward.

Wow. This book is fantastically written, in my opinion. The author truly dives into every aspect of writing a book. From characters to publishing to picking the time frame of the story, the information is perfectly done. I didn’t feel like I was being pulled into the weeds of the how-to part of writing. The author gave a great overview of how to think about writing as well as executing it. I got the digital version of this book, and I will be looking to get a print copy. This way I am able to flip back and forth through the chapters and tab the most helpful (to me) parts!
After reading this book, I feel like I was given information to write a book to the best of my ability with the options laid out, as to how I would go about getting published. I don’t know that I am particularly ready to write at this point, but for sure will be keeping this book close to ruminate over in the coming months.

I really enjoyed this historical story. It was full of mystery but it was the historical side that really brought this story to life for me. The author’s research into the history of Stewart’s Close and Edinburgh during that era really puts an added layer onto this story for me. Kenna’s character has to endure so much in this story but what I love about her is through it all she never loses her determination to return and get the justice for her sister. Even when it seems all hope is lost and there is no way she can overcome the odds her strength and determination proves anything is possible. When her is murdered Kenna plans to see justice done but then things are taken out of her control. She is moved around and ends up on Stewarts Close in Edinburgh which has been locked up because of the plague. With no one being able to come in and no one able to leave how can Kenna escape? When the fight turns into a fight for her life as well as getting justice does Kenna have the strength to overcome it all. This book is full of twists and turns which make it a read that you will be hooked on and the attention to the historical really brings the era to life
