The Sweet Temptations Trilogy (Sinful Delights) by L.M. Mountford – Review by Beverly Finnie
The Sweet Temptations Trilogy by L.M. Mountford
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The Sweet Temptations Trilogy was alright. A steamy forbidden fruit romance collection. When I first decided to read it, I didn’t read the synopsis. I thought it was a collection of 3 individual short temptations stories, not 3 connected stories. The author connected each one nicely.
Richard has a beautiful wife but his good looks have put him on the radar of other women. Is he tempted, absolutely! Does he respond, resoundedly! Is it right, depends on who you ask. When catches the eye of his boss and his babysitter he knows despite what his body wants he can’t give in to the desire. But what happens when he does? These books navigate those encounters and how they are handled in steamy detailed way that will have the reader wanting more.
As a whole I said alright. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first story but the other two put me back on board. The first story felt a little slow and all over the place till it was coming to an end. The second and third stories redeemed the collection. I’ve read this author in the past and it is one I will keep on my list of go-tos.
If you want hot, steamy, age-gap, and forbidden. Trust me take a leap it’s all that and more.
