An enjoyable book in one of my favourite genres. The plot was interesting and suspenseful which kept me reading on to find out whether Kaela puts her trust in the right person and working to survive the attempts on her life.
The story is told from multiple points of view which gives a deeper look into each of the characters which I liked.

Each character has a distinct personality and it was interesting to see how they all bounced off each other (especially when you could see things from everyone’s perspective, it gave me a deeper appreciation for their reactions).

I’m interested in seeing where the rest of this series leads as it started off well.
