Punk (Popov Boys Book 6) by Leslie Georgeson – Review by Kerry Carr

Punk (Popov Boys #6)Punk by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the 6th book is the Popov Boys series. This is one of those series where each installment is just as good if not better than the installment before which just goes to show how great the author is at keeping the stories fresh and with new ideas.
This is a great age gap romance which is also full of danger, Suspense, kidnappings and risk being taken that could be lethal.
I really like Efrem’s character. He is trying to make up for being born into a family who have done wrong. He doesn’t want to be the same so he risks his life every night trying to make the city safe and protecting innocent people disguised as Punk.
When he takes a job as bookkeeper for a record studio the story really gets interesting when the attraction he feels to his boss Miranda is really intense.
Miranda is a strong willed, determined woman who is on a mission to find Punk who she believes is responsible for murdering her brother. However she is asking questions and looking for answers in places that are going to put her life in danger.
What will happen when Miranda realised that Efrem is Punk? Will the chemistry they have between them be enough to overcome that and find the truth or will Miranda’s hunt for her brothers killer put them in a situation that is dangerous to both of their lives.
This is an edge of your seat Mafia romance which you won’t be able to put down and the twists and turns will keep you guessing from beginning to end
