Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned ….

A series is usually like an aging red wine , it just gets better with time 😉 and while I’ve not read all the books in the series I didn’t feel like I was missing out but there are references to previous books / characters so you’ll get a fuller experience and trust me every bit counts 😉🔥

I really enjoyed Miranda and Efrem 🔥these Papov boys are hard to resist 😉

Miranda is in the middle of a rather nasty divorce and honestly I must say good riddance to bad rubbish girl !

Efrem is hiding a secret , while he’s supposed to be the hunted he is in fact the hunter , on more levels than one 😉🔥

There more to this story than revenge , steam , action and thrills there’s redemption and forgiveness that softens this cruel and unkind world …. Be patient with them , let them share their story ❣️

Miranda and efrem are truly a match made in heaven. Steamy and written beautifully! Perfect to be read as a stand alone with enough details that’s it’s not confusing. Or if you enjoy the popov men read the series. You surely won’t be disappointed.

Dive in head first to read about a smooth talking charmer that makes you weak at the knees and a fiery passionate bombshell female lead. You won’t be disappointed.

Who doesn’t love a tall, dark vigilante who gets his hands dirty…in more ways than one 😉 Efrem has done some nasty things in his life and he’s trying to even out his karma by playing vigilante. Miranda is in the midst of a horrendous divorce and hires Efrem to help her get to the bottom of what her soon-to-be ex has been up to. They fall for one another but will they be able to wade through all of the lies and secrets of their pasts?
I really enjoyed this installment of the Popov Boys series. This is the 6th book and it can definitely be read as a standalone (I did) but I’m sure there are some subtle storylines and characters in there that Georgeson has introduced in past books. I definitely want to pick up the other 5 and see what those characters and plot lines have to offer. This is an age-gap, friends to lovers, mafia romance with an HEA. There is defiantly a spice level as well.

Absolutely loves Ef and Miranda’s story. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it because it just seemed to
Weird the way it was set up
But I was totally
Wrong. Miranda is such a strong character and seems like a strong person but not sure how so much got
Past her owning her own business. There was a lot
Of
Action, suspense and heat. Definitely
Recommend this book and the entire series

Punk: a steamy, older woman/younger man Mafia romantic suspense (Popov Boys Book 6)

Efrem is the baby of the family and the last to find his happily ever after, but like all things with the Popov family nothing goes smoothly.

Miranda is in the middle of an ugly divorce and all she wants to do is run her company and get rid of her soon to be ex. And I gotta say she is so much better without him.

As with the others I have had the pleasure reading, this has some suspense and some seriously hot moments. Kaitlyn is the absolute best and she breaks my heart a little.

Here’s hoping there will be a second generation series some time in the future.

Loved this book! The bratva is now disbanded and Efrem Popov is trying to strike out on his own. I’m doing so, his new boss Miranda takes a chance on him. He’s so eager to prove his worth, that he gets caught up in a romance, and the lies begin. He is Punk, a predator, and she is hunting him. Can they move past the deceit and secrets? Or will their secrets come back and ruin their lives for good?

This book was amazing! Love the series, but this book has been one of my favorites! Wonderful characters, edgy romance, desire and want fill the pages. The descriptiveness of the feelings and the perspectives from the characters are so well done, you lose yourself in this story. Read this book if you like action, romance, perseverance, and crazy plot twists.

Boy Efrem and Miranda were made for each other and the chemistry between is wow 😍
This can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read this and the rest of these amazing stories.

Punk (Popov Bratva #6)Punk by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Anticipation. Having read two of the previous Popov Boys books, four (Thief) and five (Beast) I was very excited to read the next instalment in the series. This book takes place a few years after the previous book. Thanks to Efrem the Bratva is no more, and the family businesses are now all legal ones. Told from a dual perspective, we have Efrem Popov and Miranda Patton.
Efrem is the youngest male in his family and while a hopeless romantic that was picked on by his cousins, he is the last to find his happily ever after. Punk, his alter ego of sorts is the local vigilante of L.A., capturing criminals of all kinds and leaving a note for the police of their crime always signed “Punk”. Miranda is a record label CEO, after catching her husband cheating with three groupies, she files for divorce that gets nasty quick. Her previous bookkeeper was a friend of her ex-Mick and when he quits, she has no choice but to hire a new one. Efrem, being a genius with numbers like his father shows up in her office with an offer she can’t refuse, she accepts if only to have a little eye candy for the short trial period. Quickly the chemistry between them is evident and hard to deny, both giving in briefly before pulling back, trying to keep professional as boss and employee. Without realizing they share a similar secret, Efrem is Punk and Miranda is hunting for him.
Will Miranda allow herself to enjoy being wanted and forget about the superficial excuses? Can Efrem find redemption for his past sins? Knowing the book has a happy ending, the best part of the book is learning the journey the characters must endure to reach it. Once again, I love seeing this world and getting little updates about the previous books’ characters. Also, the author’s ability to introduce characters so early in the series but then show that it was only scratching the surface and that no amount of guessing could have prepared you for the story to come.

I’m already captivated by this book and that’s just from reading chapter 1. So if that doesn’t convince you to read this, i don’t know what will. I knew I was going to be obsessed because every other book in this series I’ve LOVED so much. Please read the other books in this series before reading this one, you won’t be disappointed. Okay back to finish the book and I’ll be back to let you know my thoughts…okay I’m back and I only read the second chapter 👀 lmao. I didn’t expect that twist but wow, I’m in for a ride! Okay back to reading. But I’m going to tell you to read this just based off the first 2 chapters! I’m already invested! I LOVE EFREM! That man has a way with words and you can’t help but feel weak in the knees. If you want a book full of drama, angst, SPICE 🥵..this book is for you. Amazing characters, great plot, sex scenes are *chefs kiss* 💋 Leslie Georgeson is easily one of my favorite authors. Every book I’ve read by her, I’ve loved.

Beast (Popov Boys Book 5) by Leslie Georgeson – Review by Tara Johnson Barnes

Beast (Popov Boys #5)Beast by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beast is Book Five in the Popov Boys Series. Although this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. This was a beautifully written story about two scarred souls who form a friendship that builds into a romance. Adrik has earned the name Beast because his face is badly scarred from having been attacked by a dog when he was a child. He feels that he has no hopes of ever finding love because of how he looks. Annika is a mafia princess who Adrik has been assigned to protect after she was attacked so viciously in the past that she was temporarily in a wheelchair. When her attacker resurfaces and threatens to finish the job Annika is put under the watch of Adrik and one other bodyguard and kept in a safe location. Adrik and Annika begin to grow close as they spend time together sharing painful secrets and confiding in one another about feeling like outcasts. When Annika’s attacker seeks to follow through with his threats, Adrik vows to protect Annika at all costs.

The storyline of two scarred individuals forging a friendship that turns into more over time is what grabbed my attention. The characters were wonderfully written and lovable. Beast/Adrik’s past is painful as he comes from an abusive home. He vowed to become something and has worked hard over the years to work his way up in the Popov Crime Family as their interrogator and thug. Having been viciously attacked by a dog as a child has scarred him on the inside as well as on the outside and he feels as though he is a monster that is unworthy of love. He has always admired Annika from afar, but she has been off limits to him because it is his boss’ daughter. What he does not realize is that Annika has always been curious about him, and she also does not feel like she belongs. Annika is not a spoiled princess but is kind, compassionate, empathetic, and loving. As they spend time together Adrik realizes that this beautiful woman can see past his scars. This book was wonderful with action, suspense, mystery, drama, friendship, forbidden romance, passion, and a few twists and turns to keep you reading.

Thief (Popov Boys Book 4) by Leslie Georgeson – Review by Tara Johnson Barnes

Thief (Popov Boys #4)Thief by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Thief is Book Four in the Popov Boys Series. This author was new to me, and I have yet to read the first three books in the series, but I know that I will be going back to read them. With that being said, although this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. This book will suck you in from the first few pages and have you hooked on the characters of Dominik and Leah and the undeniable chemistry between them.

Dominik works for the Russian Mafia and is known by his name Thief. When Dom tries to steal Leah’s car, things do not go as he had planned. He certainly did not expect the car’s owner to jump in the front seat or confront him. When Dom discovers that the car’s owner is a famous country star, he decides to let her go but she must not tell anyone about what happened. Dom knows that she will not say anything because he knows of the dark secrets, she carries that will ruin her career if revealed. He puts it behind him, or thinks that he has, until he runs into her again while visiting his brother. As the two spend time together the attraction between them grows and the chemistry becomes intense. When Leah’s secrets and dark past come back to haunt her and put her life and future at risk Dom vows to protect her at all costs.

This book was fast paced, had a fantastic storyline, and great characters. The way in which Dom and Leah meet is unusual to say the least. When Dom and Leah meet, it seems as though they could not be more opposite in how they live their lives and who they are. Dom is used to keeping a low profile, is a bit rough around the edges, and refuses to become attached to anyone. Underneath that tough exterior is a man with a big heart who finally meets his match and lets his guard down. Leah is a celebrity who is used to being in the spotlight and having all the attention on her. Under the glitz and glamor is a woman who has been harboring secrets from a dark past and who has been living under a false identity. When the two meet the chemistry between them sizzles and the attraction between them grows. This book was full of action, suspense, mystery, intrigue, secrets, lies, chemistry, passion, and twists and turns that will have you reading until the end.

Punk (Popov Boys Book 6) by Leslie Georgeson – Review by Tara Johnson Barnes

Punk (Popov Bratva #6)Punk by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Punk is book Six in the Popov Boys series. Although this book is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. The series keeps getting better with each book though, so I highly recommend reading the first five books. Each book gives a bit of background information on the different recurring characters, and then focuses on one character for that book. This storyline is centered around the attraction between a younger man and an older woman.

Efram is a bit of a wild guy with a few inner demons and baggage that he has been carrying around since his aunt’s death. Trying to flee from his past he goes out at night as Punk and pursues criminals to bring to justice. His nighttime activities as Punk put his life at risk so he attempts to give it up. He applies for a job as a bookkeeper at Miranda’s record company and Efram and Miranda feel an instant attraction to one another. What Efram does not know is that Miranda thinks that Punk is responsible for killing her brother and she has vowed revenge against him. She is also in the middle of a messy divorce from her rockstar husband after she caught him repeatedly cheating on her. Miranda does not want a relationship while in the middle of a divorce, especially one with a younger man. However, Efram feels a connection to Miranda and is determined to be with her. Will this attraction lead to more? Or will it sizzle out before it ever gets a chance to start?

Another phenomenal story by this talented author. I will admit that this one intrigued me because of the younger man and older woman storyline. (My husband is fifteen years my junior and we have an amazing relationship, so this naturally captivated my attention.) So often it is older men with younger women, so this was a refreshing change. The added elements of danger, secrets, lies, hidden identities, and crazy exes really made this a riveting read. The characters of Efram and Miranda are written beautifully and the attraction between them practically explodes off the pages. Efram comes across as a bit of a wild card as he pursues criminals to bring to justice but underneath that rough exterior, he is trying to work through a past that haunts him. Wanting to leave that behind him leads him to Miranda. She too, is working through inner demons and carrying around baggage. Miranda is a smart, determined, hardworking businesswoman with a good head on her shoulders. She tries to deny her attraction to Efram but the chemistry between them was explosive and undeniable. This book was full of action, suspense, drama, secrets, intrigue, mystery, suspense, chemistry, passion, romance, and twists and turns that will keep you reading until the end.

Punk (Popov Boys #6)Punk by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 6th book in the Popov Boys series and can be read as a standalone however after discovering the author in December reading the previous 2 books, I highly recommend you read from the beginning of the series!

Once again, the author has proven why they became a fast favourite. They’ve created another set of characters to fall in love with and root for and hooking me from the very start.

I’m once again left with a longing for more of this series and an impatience at not being able to dive straight into another new read in the series.

I though the age gap was written well and made believable. Given everything Miranda has going on in her life, she proves herself to be a strong and independent mother. I love how she was written and how things build between her and Efram.

It’s not just the romance that keeps you reading either, there’s more to it than that. The secrets and suspense were incorporated so nicely, it really came together well.

I’ll be honest and say I had my doubts as the blurb didn’t seem like the rest of the series, but I was blown away by how much I loved this instalment.

Punk (Popov Boys #6)Punk by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the 6th book is the Popov Boys series. This is one of those series where each installment is just as good if not better than the installment before which just goes to show how great the author is at keeping the stories fresh and with new ideas.
This is a great age gap romance which is also full of danger, Suspense, kidnappings and risk being taken that could be lethal.
I really like Efrem’s character. He is trying to make up for being born into a family who have done wrong. He doesn’t want to be the same so he risks his life every night trying to make the city safe and protecting innocent people disguised as Punk.
When he takes a job as bookkeeper for a record studio the story really gets interesting when the attraction he feels to his boss Miranda is really intense.
Miranda is a strong willed, determined woman who is on a mission to find Punk who she believes is responsible for murdering her brother. However she is asking questions and looking for answers in places that are going to put her life in danger.
What will happen when Miranda realised that Efrem is Punk? Will the chemistry they have between them be enough to overcome that and find the truth or will Miranda’s hunt for her brothers killer put them in a situation that is dangerous to both of their lives.
This is an edge of your seat Mafia romance which you won’t be able to put down and the twists and turns will keep you guessing from beginning to end

There was such a great connection between her and Efrem, you could really feel it coming off the pages. As the story goes on Miranda and Efrem discover feelings for each other but with Efrem’s dark secret and Miranda’s ex-husband can the couple survive the pressures and become one with each other.

OMG, I love this series. I have devoured every book but this one I confess is my favourite as in the other books you get a glimpse of Efrem, but this book lets him shine. I love the interaction with his family and that the emotion of him being lost in a world of violence. Miranda is the quiet calm to Efrem, and the chemistry sparks off the page regarding these to beautiful characters.

As always, the story is well written and flows effortlessly drawing you in to the world of Bratva and Efrem’s reality. I hope there are more books in this series as I am not ready to give up the Popov’s just yet.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another wonderful book in this series! I enjoyed the secrets, the unknown and the storyline. We really are able to dig deep into the thoughts and lives of this couple. Not everything is as it seems as we learn the “whys” of a few things and the “hows” of others. I really liked that Miranda is a strong businesswoman that started her own company. That showed her gumption of sticking even when things get tough. Efrem is the hollywood sexy guy and has a determination to redeem his past and cross boundaries with his new boss.

Overall it is a good story. We see characters from the past stories as they become involved with Efrem or just cameos. Either way its always nice to see them. The story seemed overlong at times with all the introspection of their own feelings over and over but it did give no doubt to what each was thinking. I did like the title especially when the definition(s) popped up!

Punk (Popov Boys #6)Punk by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I struggled when I first started reading Punk. I just couldn’t get interested. However despite that I pushed forward being I was told I should check this book out. Well it wasn’t bad, it just started slow. The author wrote an interesting journey between a vigilante and someone who is hunting vigilante. However the characters aren’t aware of their unforeseen connection. Yet both, Miranda and Efrem, are connected in a way where they can’t resist one another. Despite being boss and employee. Despite being neighbors.
Efrem can’t stop what he feels is his penance for the things he did in the past.
Miranda is looking to get justice for her brother Marcus.
What will Miranda do, when she finds out about Efrem’s biggest secret?
Will Efrem actually tell her?
There’s a lot going on, but not enough, that it takes away from what the author wrote. The different story lines are all connected; you just have to read to see how. It may actually fascinate you. I also haven’t read any of the books that came prior, which says this works wonderfully as a standalone vs just a series.
Would I recommend this book? Sure, just know if there’s any part that feels slow, just keep reading it will all work out. It did for me! Now it is time for me to check out the 5 books prior to this one.

This is another great book in a great series. This is an age gap romance but it is where the leading lady is older. It is a gripping story that allows you to be able to get caught up in all the action within the first few pages. If you haven’t read the other books in the series, I highly suggest you read those because the characters from those books make appearances in this book. It would also help you to understand their situations as well. This book did not disappoint it has everything from dark intense story line. It has romance and steam all throughout. It is well written that you feel like you are part of the group or at least a fly on the wall to what is happening. I wish that I could go further into detail about what went down in this book but I can’t because that wouldn’t be doing you the justice you deserve by being able to read it without any spoilers. I find that going in knowing that the character development, the dark, twisty suspense, and the romance are all there is better than knowing what actually happens. It leaves an air of mystery to the whole book that will have you turning pages as quickly as you can. It will be an easy read and won’t take much time because of how invested you will be.

This book fits in perfectly with the rest of the series. It is dark, intense and a great story to read. It wasn’t hard to get into the story and it was lovely to read about familiar characters again. One of the things I enjoyed most about this story is how the characters pulled me into their world from the start. They have great growth and chemistry. They are connectable and add so much to the story. I enjoyed watching the growth of the plot throughout. This is a story about secrets, romance with a touch of suspense. The secrets that these two have could be the breaking point for them.. I found this story to be well written and hard to put down. A fast paced, engaging story that you don’t want to miss out on. This is the newest book in the Popov Boys Series. Once again I have no complaints about this book other than I wasn’t ready for it to be over. I love this series and I truly love how well written these characters are and how detailed the plot lines get into the mafia life. Efrem’s goes out as Punk at night and hunts criminals to turn them over to the police. Miranda is definitely a strong female character. She has gone through so much. The last thing she expects is to fall for PUNK, but here she is. Can they get past their age differences to make things work?
Once again this is a fantastic book in the series. I definitely have enjoyed each and every one and recommend reading them!

Andrik is such an amazing character. He has definitely been dealt a hard hand and he is very judged by his looks. He has lived a very hard life and has not had anything handed to him. He joined the Popov Bravata and works his way very hard to earn his way up the ranks. In the earns himself a very special assignment, guarding the boss’ daughter. Who also happens to be the girl he has had a crush on in nearly forever. Annika is not a normal Bravata princess, she loves her piano more than people and is confined to a wheelchair. The two develop feelings for each other, however, Andrik fails at his duty to protect her. This turns their lives on their heads again.
Once again this mafia story is fantastic. I cannot recommend this series enough. It is filled with steam, suspense and twists and turns!

Thief (Popov Boys #4)Thief by Leslie Georgeson

Thief
By: Leslie Georgeson

This is the first book of the Popov Boys series that I have read. But I can definitely promise you it will not be the last. I will be reading each and every one to learn more of each of the boys. This book goes between the perspectives of Dominick and Leah. Sometimes I can find this dual perspective storytelling to be jarring. However, if it is done well, it can be one of the most enjoyable forms of storytelling. In this case, this is what I enjoyed about this story. Dominick is part of the famed Popov family and he has always prided himself on never getting attached to anyone. Leah is a country music star. Their paths cross and from there the book becomes impossible to put down. I definitely recommend reading this story and I will be reading all the rest of the Popov Boys Series in the future!

Punk (Popov Boys Book #6) by Leslie Georgeson – Review by Angela Hayes

Punk (Popov Bratva #6)Punk by Leslie Georgeson

Punk is the sixth book in the Popov Bratva series by Leslie Georgeson. As I have mentioned before, I really love this series, which just seems to get better and better with every new instalment. This is a stellar Bratva romance with an age gap OWYM, tension, chemistry, suspense, dramatic developments, family, secrets, sizzle, emotion, and much more.
I didn’t expect to love this book as much as I did, as I’m not always a fan of reverse age gaps as I am often left feeling disappointed- but having said that, Ms. Georgeson doesn’t disappoint here crafting wonderful characters who were interesting and endearing. I really loved Efrem and Miranda- they drew me into their story and had me invested right from the get-go. I loved the secret identity element as it added tension and intrigue to the whole story. Add in danger, dramatic developments, twists and turns, action, sizzle, and all the other clever touches- and it becomes a riveting read.
This could be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the previous books before starting on this instalment, as the previous books introduce us to recurring characters, and other interesting and pertinent information- as well as being fantastic stories in their own rights. Trust me, you won’t want to miss out on meeting any of the Popov Boys!
The series consists of:
-Freak (Book One) ….. Zeke and Mia’s story
-Snitch (Book Two) ….. Sacha and Willow’s story
-Thug (Book Three) ….. Lev and Siena’s story
-Thief (Book Four) ….. Dom and Leah’s story (Dom is Lev’s twin brother)
-Beast (Book Five) ….. Adrik and Annika’s story
-Punk (Book Six) ….. Efrem and Miranda’s story
I really hope this isn’t the end of the Popov Boys series as I’m not ready to leave their ‘world’ yet. Excited to see what Ms. Georgeson has in store for us next.
Highly recommended!
Happy reading…

Thank you, Leslie Georgeson!
