This story is emotional. Even is you have never owned a pet, most people know what it means to put an animal to sleep. Our pets often have become part of the family. This story goes through the process of doing just that. It walks through from diagnosis through to sending them off to the Rainbow Bridge. I found the story does a very nice job of explaining this in a family friendly way so that it can be read to children. This may help to answer questions and possibly put some worries at ease, Either way, it will help parents to talk with their children when that time comes that a fur baby has to be put to sleep. This book is a gentle way of explaining the process. I think it is a definite must for the library of any parents of younger ones with pets.
