Planting Hope

All I thought about last night and this morning was those kids. They have dealt with unimaginable pain and suffering, yet the garden they were working on with Kit, Mona and Holly became so much more for each of them and their healing.

Holly and Kit weren’t trauma free either and I think that helped them connect with the children and also heal and recover too.

I’m not sure why but Bella in the mud puddle really tickled me, thought about that a few times throughout the book especially during the more difficult moments.

There is love involved, but I feel the book is more about healing any way possible and helping other heal along the way.

Ms. Raines is a new to me author and I absolutely loved this book. I will be reading more by her in the future.
