My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Faking the Fall (Buckeye Falls Book 4) by Libby Kay is a great contemporary romance.

If Alice Snyder didn’t already know about her reputation, Buckeye Falls would be happy to remind her. She may be descended from the First Family in the town, but that doesn’t mean she follows the rules. She’s finally back home after ten years of traveling and attending school, and she’s eager to settle down—or at least unwind for a bit. Her neighbors are adamant about finding her a husband, which is the problem. There must be a method for her to get rid of them.James Gibson, an artist who is divorced, is eager to start painting again after leaving New York for the tranquility of a rural Ohio village. The only issue is that he is totally barred. He’s at a crossroads in his career and, despite his best attempts, his collection of canvases is blank.

Every page had you hanging on every sentence and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a very unique story with even compelling people. The story really transports you into this world. I couldn’t put the book down.
