I fell in love with all three of the guys in just this book. I hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting them before now but they all left quite an impression on me. Of course Brian’s was the biggest since it’s his story.
My emotions were all over the place while reading and may have gotten some weird looks from the family as I sat here crying during certain parts.
Amanda was exactly what Brian needed when she came into his life. The chemistry was off the charts from the moment they laid eyes on one another and resisted due to Nick warning him off and Brian not being interested in more than one night.
I need to go back and read Nick and Cole’s stories and I hope there will be another, don’t think this group is done telling their stories yet.

Its the story of Brian who owns a nightclub called Six-Pack and is determined to never have feelings for any woman. When he meets Amanda he thinks he can just treat her as every other woman but he finds out she is his best friends sister. That makes her off limits. Amanda is a very successful business woman and is very attracted to Brian until her friend tells her he’s a one night stand pro. Amanda is highly attracted to him and she can’t quit thinking of him. As they become friends they both want more but are both afraid. Will Brian be able to have a relationship with Amanda even though he doesn’t want anyone to find out about his secret? Will Amanda trust her heart and give Brian a chance or will she be to leary! A great contemporary romance!

House of Blood and Whispers by Natalina Reis. This is a fast paced thriller romance that will keep you flipping pages late in the night. Its the story of Cahki who has been captured and enslaved to be the emperor’s concubine. Sung-Jin is the son of the tyrant emperor and wants to over throw his father. With Cahki’s help he might be able to succeed. Cahki doesn’t want to marry Sung-Jin but she sees it as the only option to get out of being enslaved. Cahki is a no nonsense kind of woman and she’s doesn’t let anything stop her from getting what she wants. Sung-Jin has been at the wrong end of his father’s wrath for the last time and he’s going to do whatever it takes to get rid of his father. I love a good single mother romance story and I have to say I was really taken with this one. There was something about the characters that I just really connected with and I wanted to know more about them. I loved watching the connection between the main characters grow. I was rooting for them right from the word go. This is an author I am only vaguely familiar with, having only read a couple of her books. However, this book definitely cements the fact that I will be looking at what else she has to offer. This book was easy to read, really enjoyable and I loved every moment of it. This book is definitely worth the read!

This book is an engaging and enjoyable holiday romance story. There are some lovable characters right at its heart and I couldn’t help but become invested in them. They had both been burned by love in the past and have to work to find a way past it to find happiness with each other. This book is the third one in an already great series. It can be read as a standalone but they are all worth the read. I always enjoy this authors writing style. Each book is well written, engaging and entertaining. They are the kind of books I like to sit with on a lazy afternoon to get lost in. I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable story and I am looking forward to the next.

This is the second book in the Gumshoe series and I do recommend reading the books in order so you can fully enjoy the characters and their development. The is a YA cosy mystery but I have to admit with the intrigue, danger, mystery and twists and turns I was just as gripped. I also loved the paranormal twists in this story of the detective solving the cases being a young witch and her familiar cat which is also a reincarnated private detective. It added such a nice twist to the story and makes it more understandable as to why a cat and a young girl find themselves solving Mysteries and getting into danger. In this story it is a race against time as Mia and Gumshoe try to solve and stop someone trying to destroy Mia’s friend Tiffany’s quinceanera to celebrate her turning 15. After Gumshoe witnesses a murder he needs Mia’s assistance to figure out who is behind it and why. As the bodies start to pile up the part of sleuths need to use all their skills and knowledge as they are sent on a dark trail of deception and corruption. Can they stop the person committing these crimes before they destroy Tiffany’s Quinceanera? Will they learn anything more about Gumshoe’s past life and why they were murdered? This is a fast paced engaging story that will entertain readers young and old.

This is the second book in the Gumshoe Mysteries series. I would recommend reading the first book prior to this one, it’s a great introduction to the characters and their ‘circumstances’. Short but not lacking, this fun young adult mystery is engaging and an easy read. I love the well-written characters, their relationships and the banter is fun and light and Gumshoe is a particular favourite of mine. The plot is unique and interesting and even though it’s geared towards younger readers, it’s still entertaining for older adults. The writing flows nicely and is easy to follow making it an easy read. I can’t wait to meet Mia and Gumshoe again!

Although it was a bit slower at the beginning, it picked up quick about 25% through and I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with Ross and Hadley’s characters right away. And enjoyed watching their dynamics/relationship progress throughout. I have yet to read the first 3 in this central Florida stories series but now plan to. (They can be read as standalone’s). Also, really loved that it wasn’t just “kink” but they did some education on subjects and explained things quite nicely and respectfully.
Definitely intended for more mature audiences(read the trigger warnings).

This is the first book in the Gumshoe Mysteries series, a wonderful young adult book. I do enjoy a good young adult story, and this one surpassed my expectations. I was expecting a fun easy read and it delivered. But in addition, I also got and engaging story with a unique plot and a familiar which partially reminded me of Salem from my favourite childhood tv show! The characters are well-written, and entertaining making them completely lovable. Mia and Gumshoe were brilliant characters working towards their goal, and I was glad to have been along for the ride! I cannot wait to get my hands on more from the series.

Eebun and Noah’s story is bittersweet. They start by meeting in airports. By the third meeting, they are venturing into the world. The big challenge is that she is trying not to die.Her half-brothers are out to kill her. It’s a story with emotions, challenges and a couple of substories. It’s beautiful, sad, and a few other emotions. I found that I couldn’t put it down. I really wanted to see how it was going to end up because they had a few obstacles to overcome. It’s a book worth reading.

The is book 2 of 2 in the Boudin, Barbecue, and Hoodoo series by Reggi Dupree and she did not disappoint. I absolutely loved the first one (and you need to go read it before you pick this one up) and all of the characters are back at it again (well…for the most part) but some have newfound powers and others are coming to terms with things. I absolutely love Dupree’s character development and her plot line is action packed! I would classify this as a paranormal mystery but there is plenty of humor and wit to lighten it up. Love love love this book! All the characters and the plot twists, it’s wonderfully written, and the relationships. I have a lot of questions but I love this book series and I would absolutely love this made into a movie or TV show.
This was a charming romantic story. I enjoyed the author’s writing style. This is the third book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. Riley is a single mom trying her best to take care of her son, Dylan. Dylan is adorable and I think he made the story that much better. Mitch and Riley take some time to realize how they feel about each other because neither one was looking for a relationship. This book has family, love, laughter, romance all in a Christmas setting which made it a great read. I recommend this book, you do not want to miss out on this charming story.

What an emotion filled read!! This book can absolutely be read as a stand alone, but I can tell you right now that I am going to be going back through this authors other novels so I can read more about Logan and her adventures! I am dying to know more about this family tree and the intricacies of each personality.
This author puts amazing detail into the characters. They are easily relatable and you feel as if you have known them for a lifetime. The plot just adds to the characters. The action leaves you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire novel. Everyone is pointing their fingers at Wade, but is he really the one at blame? He does disappear as soon as his bond is posted, so there must be some sort of guilt eating at him. I guess you will just have to read to find out! I’m so glad I did.

Sarge by Stuart Ledwith is a wonderfully written Fantasy Adventure that takes on a journey through the life of a young man who goes by Sarge. This is a fast paced short story that is packed with action, adventure, drama, romance, military missions and so much more. This is a fairly new author to me but I like their style of writing and attention to detail. He poured his heart into this story and you can feel it with each page you read. This story shows us the life of Sarge and what he went through to get to where he’s at. I highly recommend reading this book before reading Mission 3047 so you get a better understanding of what he’s gone through but you can certainly read it after if you’ve already read it. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This forced proximity, enemies to lovers fantasy was great from start to finish. I really enjoyed these two main characters together and enjoyed how their relationship grew organically. Whether or not the magic had anything to do with it I don’t know, but I like to think that it did. Hwarang was a good side character and all three of them were great together. First, can we take a moment to fully appreciate this beautiful cover- it’s just stunning! Themes of Kismet by A. Akinosho is a sweet, ‘meet cute’ romance that tells a tale of fated love, second (third, and fourth) chances, secrets, drama, cultural differences, challenges, danger, emotion, and more. Our MC’s are in the hands of fate from an early age. Meeting several times over the years before finally getting the ‘message’. But, even then, the author doesn’t make it too easy for them, making them work for their chance at happiness. The story is sweet, but also interwoven with secrets, drama, angst, and danger which makes the book all the more engrossing. I enjoyed this first read of Ms. Akinosho’s work and look forward to seeing what she does next. Happy Reading…

This book does do a lot of time jumps, and switches from first to third person POV. The beginning to me was really slow and it took me a while to get into the book. However, it is relatively short and a quick read. It wasn’t my speed, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be yours, so if you’re someone who enjoys suspense and thrillers, give it a shot!
Aspen is a college student ready to be out of her parents house, both are making a disaster of a marriage and their daughters are done with it. A creative surfer full of plans to be an independent sales woman along with her sister can look at the future with happiness.
Phoenix is ready to be the best football player of the history and having none of his fathers shadow to bother him, although his grandfather does and it is a constant reminder of a tight leash. With this twin by his side this thing is an easy piece of cake, not to mention that the underground fighting can be the money injection needed to help his mom.
Now in a springtime moment Aspen met Phoenix in a beach party and hit it right off. This right before of both making the moment a little bit awkward after and declaring the war of distance between them.
Oh but life is not that easy for these students who are about to begin the lifetime adventure not only of their careers but of their existence.

Wow, this story is fantastic. Celestina and Dingo aka Frank and the chemistry they have and the story they bring…wow. Fractured Hearts is book 7 of the Grimm Wolves MC and this book and series is fantastic. The author really grabs you from beginning to end and I loved that no only we get to be part of the Grimm Wolves expanding family but also having Devils Handmaidens included is just a great bonus.

This book had me twitching to flip the pages. I could not get through this fast enough. A Rollercoaster of Highs and lows and gripping the edge of the seat holding on for dear life. Angela Lam kills it once again and I can’t think of something I’ve read recently that tops this book! Read it and read it now, you will be gripped from the beginning I guarantee it.

House of Blood and Whispers was a thrilling adventure. It was full of action, heat, and drama. I quickly read this story. It was easy to get sucked into the romance and plan to take out the emperor. I’m guessing there will be a sequel because a few things were talked about in the book that were left unfinished. I need answers lol. I thought it was well written. Something anyone could get into. There are a few triggering topics in the story so definitely prepare yourself if you need to.

This was an interesting tale. A new author for me and she definitely captured my attention. I enjoyed the characters, the growth they made together and really just enjoyed the story line. I read it in one sitting and even reread the last few chapters because I didn’t want it to end!
