Yesterday’s Over (Philly Heat Series Book 3) by Becky Flade is a great romantic suspense series
Philadelphia experiences a huge explosion. In the ruins, rescuers find elderly bones. The secrets of a long-dormant serial murderer are made public.Trudy Beasley, the assistant chief medical examiner, takes satisfaction in giving victims’ families answers and closure, but she has never seen anything like the enigma surrounding the skeletal remains. Truth-seeking is required by Trudy’s intuition.Benjamin Roberts, a forensic anthropologist, disagrees. Ben views the conundrum as an intellectual one rather than a legal one.Trudy and Ben are drawn closer together as the inquiry goes on, and eventually their professional connection crosses the line and they find themselves in one other’s arms.perhaps even their lives.
Every page had you hanging on every sentence and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a very unique story with even compelling people. The story really transports you into this world. I couldn’t put the book down.I can’t wait to read more from this series.
