The Befallen is the debut novel by Cambria Williams. Anyone can be a hero given the right circumstances (and attitude) and anyone can find redemption if they seek it. Here Ms. Williams shows us how a disabled young woman and a banished knight come together to save the kingdom, becoming heroes, finding redemption, and finding themselves along the way.
It’s a bit of a dark fantasy adventure with magic, challenges, a curse, emotion, good vs evil, an epic quest, high stakes, friendship, redemption, courage, and hope.
A great introduction to this author’s writing and I am intrigued by what she might do next.
