This is the first book in the Sinful Duets series. This is one author that never fails to impressive me. I have loved every book I have read and am always excited to read new ones. If you like possessive, strong, stubborn men, a strong lead female character, danger around every turn and chemistry and steam off the charts then I highly recommed these book. There are 2 books in the series which focus on two different couples.

The first story follows Jay and Sasha.

Jay works as security detail protecting some of the Mafia men. He is good at his job and so is his team. Normally he is focused on work until a Russian Ballerina waltz into his life and changes it forever.
Sasha is a firey woman she knows what she wants and goes for it. And what she wants is Jay’s boss. However when he turns her away Jay sees his opportunity.
However she is no damsel in distress and with connections of her own to other Mafia families and selling secrets to a different one she could land herself in very hot water.
Jay meanwhile is determined to protect her at any cost but how will he react if her secrets are revealed? What would it mean for Sasha if her true identity is revealed? This is a fast paced read which had me continously turning the pages. I felt like I couldn’t breath until I got to the end it was such a gripping read.

The second story is about Marenah and Matt.

Marenah is the granddaughter of the Russian Mafia family. She knows secrets that both the Russian Mafia and the Chicago Mafia wants her silenced for. As she goes looking for answers she finds herself taken and kept in a basement with Matt.

Matt was undercover looking for Sasha and now he find himself captured by the Chicago Mafia. When he meets Marenah the connection and attraction between them is instant. Now Matt feels the overwhelming need to protect Marenah at all cost and with the Russian and Chicago Mafia’s after her is that even going to be possible?
What secrets does Marenah know that has made her such a target? Will Matt stand any chance of protecting her and keeping her safe?
Again this is a gripping read, the characters are amazing. I feel in love with Matt straight away and I loved how strong and determined Marenah is.
This author has a great talent of writing characters that completely complement each other and the story’s just flow effortlessly.
