Rose is a photojournalist who was injured recently while on assignment. She returns home to take care of her mother after her mother receives bad news about her health. Rose begins to uncover secrets that have been hidden for decades after she finds books and photographs that have been laid aside for many years. Rose also becomes involved in a case that is going on in the small town she used to call home. This book is a page turner and a book of forgiveness.
