Kris & The Missing Prince is the first book in The Adventures of Kris series by Art Blegen. It is a colourful and imaginative chapter book adventure story. It is aimed at children aged from six to ten years old.
Just like Kris readers will be swept into the story as she finds herself in a magical world of creatures of all shapes and sizes right in Grandma’s back yard. Kris has a wild and vivid imagination, and she is not one to sit back, she is one for getting into the thick of things as she is faced with trying to thwart an evil gnome and rescue the prince.
This delightful imaginative children’s story is full of fun, with illustrations. Art’s narrative leads to vividly imagined scenes that makes for a very engaging story. There are also things to learn along the way.
You don’t have to be a child to love the adventure. I look forward to more of Kris’s adventures.
