Italian American: Jack & Mariella’s Journey Continues… by Luigina Vecchione is a superb sequel to ‘Greeting from Ashbury Park, where we met Jack and Mariella and followed as their love story unfolded.
This book is set 9 years after Jack and Mariella’s fateful meeting- Mariella leaving her life and family in Italy to live in America with Jack. This presents its own set of challenges, and Mariella has much to adapt to. Things aren’t going to be easy- so will their love be strong enough to endure?
I really felt for Mariella, she is such a strong individual- but some of the challenges she/they faced were quite testing and really tugged at my heartstrings.
Another charming historical story woven with plenty of challenges, drama, adaptation, highs & lows, friendship, family, heartache, angst, tension, choices, heart, and soul.
Looking forward to more from Luigina Vecchione in the future.
