This is the second book in the series and they just keep getting better. This book is a quick read and it will have you wanting to know more with every page. This is a different take on the genre than I am used to. Being as it is the second book in the series, I feel that you could read them out of order. You will be able to grasp the concepts of the book without feeling like you’re missing anything. However, if you did read them in order, you would definitely have more insight into what is going on. I felt like this new take on things really made the genre feel vibrant and fresh to me again. I wasn’t expecting some of the twists and turns that this book takes but I am completely here for it. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. This book offers suspense, horror, paranormal, and dystopian elements that I couldn’t get enough of. I only wish that the book was longer. It was a great read and I can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t read the first book in the series go and read it, you won’t be disappointed.
