Her first AKC Champion was a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Ch Dixieland Blazing Maximus, CGC, HIT, SS, SWET, WETT, HIC, WETX, WTXX, WPD, DD, WWDS, RN, CD, THDA, VGS, 2017 GSMDCA Ambassador of the Breed, “Mouse.” Mouse was the first Greater Swiss Mountain Dog to earn any Water Rescue titles, and he was spokesdog for the Keep Austin Dog Friendly trend for many years appearing in magazines, news clips, and serving the community as an animal assisted therapy dog. Keep Austin Dog Friendly was nominated for a Webby Award in 2016.
In addition to Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, she also owns a pride of Lowchen or The Little Lion Dogs. In 2019, she piloted her Lowchen, GCHS Musicbox Got Your Six at Roman Reign “Target” to #1 All-Systems, #1 OH for 2019 and 2020. Target went on to win the Breed at the AKC National Championship in 2019, Westminster in 2020, and Best in Specialty Show in 2021.
Jennie has served on various board and committee positions in the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America, the Lowchen Club of America, as well as regional Newfoundland and Bernese Mountain Dog Clubs. She is a GSMDCA draft judge and weight pull judge.
Giselle Nevada
Originally from the Philippines, Giselle came to the US to attend Wellesley College where she studied Economics. After graduation, she worked in managing risk/compliance teams, specializing in machine learning and more recently, risk policy.
Giselle has owned several mastiffs over the past 20 years, some from reputable breeders and others she rescued as adults. Her experience with rescuing and fostering mastiffs led her to become interested in socialization as a way of preventing future issues. She enjoys working with her dogs and has trained them in various canine sports such as carting, conformation, agility, rally, trick dog, nose work, and more. Her puppy, Porter, is an example of the success of early socialization, having earned multiple performance dog titles and even starred in a movie directed by Marian Yeager called “Match Me If You Can.”
Giselle is an active member of various dog clubs such as the Scentwork ATX Club, Capitol Dog Training Club of Austin, and the Mastiff Club of America. She has lived in Austin for over two decades, and her passion for dogs and socialization continues to inspire her work.

Having read a book by this author before.I was super excited to pick up another.One we read this one tonight before bedtime. I had one of the Littles read it, and it flowed perfectly. The artwork was adorable and kept the Littles engaged. I also really enjoyed this book. The littlest one is learning to read and has just started walking around finding letters and sounding them out so it’s kinda perfect for the times he gets frustrated and needs a reminder that it takes time. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I absolutely adored Bella, she is funny and interesting and loves reading hot and steamy books, fantasizing about them coming true. I was thrilled when she was so excited to get back out into the dating world after discovering her husband “Mr. Wimp” was a lying, cheating, idiot, and boring in bed. She decides to jump back into the dating game and ends up having some fantastic adventures. She meets all sorts of different men, many of whom start off incredible, but as she gets to know them better, sees that they aren’t the perfect match for her either. After Mr. Wimp, Bella has 12 additional adventures filled with sex, fun, and adventures. You get to see Bella really grow into herself as she enjoys her different adventures, while also finding herself. If you love steamy stories with a HEA, you will definitely love this series!

When I first started reading, I was unaware Falling for a Star in the City was the second book in a series. However, I didn’t feel like I missed out on much information by reading this book first. The world building was adequate but nothing spectacular stood out for me. The story seemed to go back and forth a lot with Paige not really knowing exactly what she wanted or how she was feeling. She seemed very conflicted throughout the book. Her feelings for Walker were hard to stomach, as the reader could see through his façade rather easily. He was a character I couldn’t quite hate completely as I feel like he believed his heart was in the right place. Paige’s relationship with Viktor seemed more genuine, even with their back and forth inner monologues. Overall, the story was fairly well-written with realistic, believable characters. I would like to read more by Krysten Lindsay Hager.

This was a good 4 star read. Lucy and Jesse first meet in Chicago and then fate steps in and they come together again a few years later. Jesse is a hot rockstar, so I could easily see why Lucy was so drawn to him. Who wouldn’t be? Jesse is determined to show Lucy how he feels. Overall this was a good read with several great secondary characters. I also had some LOL moments. We get some steaminess, romance and so much more. This was such a good read. I have enjoyed every book I have read by this author and this one is no different. Nicole and Callum are the main characters in this story and they are both strong and independent. There is some drama, spicy moments, action, and a little bit of suspense. I had a hard time putting this book down once I started. This is the second book in this series and I enjoyed it as much if not more than the first book. Callum and Nicole go through some ups and downs once they realize that their one night stand in Costa Rica isn’t the end of their encounter. They return to their real lives after being in Costa Rica only to find out that Callum is Nicole’s professor. I don’t want to give too much away. I recommend this book. I can’t wait to read the next book.

How have I not read anything by this author before now? I have been searching for a book like this for such a long time, and it finally landed right in my lap. I definitely didn’t squander it as I dove in immediately! This is part of the Demented Souls series which I plan on picking up some if not all of the other books now. Even though I jumped in way later in the series, I feel this book can easily be read as a standalone as well. I absolutely love a good MC story, and this author has nailed it! The way they crafted such an incredible world is astounding. There are so many wonderful characteristics of the MC genre like suspense, romance, plenty of danger and lots of protective members. I also found myself giggling at a few parts as well. Malice is a perfect fit and recently fully patched into the Demented Souls. He becomes incredibly protective of Bonnie who has an ex that doesn’t seem to understand the word ‘no’. If you enjoy romantic suspense stories with a whole lot of MC vibes, please don’t pass this one up!
I love how educational Oscar and Emmy’s books are. The book Oscar and Emmy Visit the Vet is a great book for young pet owners. It helps explain why it is important to visit the vet, not just when your pet is injured or sick but also as a preventative. The book is written in a way for children to understand. It also goes over behaviors the pets might have when visiting the vet- like being scared or anxious. It also explains what anesthesia is, which I thought was pretty cool. There are additional pages after the story for cat owners to learn more about the routines we learned about in the book. The illustrations are so bright and colorful, and capture Oscar and Emmy’s individual personalities.

I was drawn into The Taste of Treachery just from the cover art and title. I haven’t read anything by this author before, and didn’t really even read what the story was about. It was soooo good I didn’t want to put it down. I like that the character development was gradual and realistic. Both main characters Caleb and Harper were likeable. Harper has a history of anxiety and panic attacks, but is able to put them aside and be a baddy hero when needed. The ending tho, come on?! I was not happy with it at all- It didn’t provide the closure I needed.

I sure enjoy this series. Soehow, Eve finds the coolest cases. This case was interesting and brought her to Colorado. There was a suspenseful case with mystery and charming characters. I dound the right amount of twists. The story had a nice flow. The characters make it a really neat story to read.

Oh, what an exciting book to read. I was drawn right in by the story. The suspense in the story kept me on edge and engaged. The two brothers and his wife kept this story very tense and mysterious. The writing is very good. It’s a nice, quick read that really helps explain the whole series.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure what I was thinking when I started to read the book but I’m generally not a fan of rockstar books. This book just flowed and was definitely very believable. I loved the characters….all Of them!!! Lucy is an actress who isn’t following her passion but is following her mom’s passion. Sera is her cousin / sister who is a model. Both have always wanted to join a band but, that just wasn’t in their cards. Lucy has had a full blown crush on the lead singer of Falling Down…Jesse Kingston since forever. She runs into him at an airport when she’s 17 and not only meets him but they walk together to their flight that is boarding. 6 years later they see eachother again when Sera and Lucy and dancers for their video. Jesse and of course Lucy remember eachother and get to talking. The video takes a few days to film and when it’s over, Jesse promises he’s going to get Lucy in his bed. Lucy is a good girl, he’s used to groupies and one night stands. What good can come from these two hooking up aside From Lucy’s dream coming true?
Jesse is far from the womanizing, groupie loving rockstar. He’s definitely been having a soft spot for Lucy.
So much happens in this book and it’s seriously hot and sooo soo good!!!

Claire has returned home to Pismo to settle her mothers affairs after her untimely death as well as take care of her younger sister Alexis. It is an uphill battle so far though as Claire doesn’t really know Alexis and has lived in Los Angeles while she grew up. She doesn’t expect to meet Dr. David Clark, Alexis’s dentist.
David never expected to want another relationship after his divorce, much less have the word love in his vocabulary away but something about Claire has him wanting to take another chance. As they get to know one another, neither can forget the ticking clock before Claire leaves with Alexis back to LA. Will they get their chance of happily ever after if Claire decides to stay?
I enjoyed the pacing of this book. You were pulled in right away and wanted to get to know these wonderful characters. Alexis is a broody fourteen year old and I think her character was spot on you really feel for Claire who is trying to do right by Alexis when she has no clue what she is doing. Definitely worth picking up.

This is another book in the Masters of the Consulate series that involves Master Bistrita and Chara. The book starts as many of them in the series do, they are trying to keep their power as pureblood vampires and overthrow the war that is building against them. Chara works for the masters in one of their bars as a waitress and has been there for a handful of years. She is good friends with Master Oradea’s new vampire wife, Natalia (who we met in the last book). Chara feels that something bad is coming and tries to warn Natalia and the masters but is brushed away – as they claim they are aware. However, because they didn’t take her seriously, the book begins with rogue wolves entering the club and trying to harm those inside. As with all the other books, the quick meet cute between Chara and Master Bistrita presents a spark between the two that neither can deny. Master Bistrita however only builds “relationships” if a contract is involved due to his need to dominate. Chara needs to decide if he is worth his demands. She is someone that doesn’t take demands lightly and has an independence about her. Can he keep it together while the rogues are trying to get to what he wants to be his? Will she listen to him and obey him not only for her safety, but for her pleasure? And in the end will they finally see the way to ending this war? This book has many elements to it between the love interests. The book deals with fated mates, the importance of loyalty, enemies to lovers, age gap, and yummy dark romance. This is a stand-alone like all in the series, but it is important (if you want to understand what is happening and all the characters) to read the others that came before it. For this particular book, I felt the same as I do for all of them, it was good, with good characters, but it does move quickly and the relationship aspect has no real build up – it is all of sudden – they belong together. I thought the character aspect is similar from previous books, especially on the master’s part. He is demanding and protective of what is his. She is feisty, but easily willing (some of the time) to give into the connection the two have. But as in all the other books, there are still secrets, mysteries, love, agendas, etc. to entice the readers.

From the start of the book, it’s very entertaining and action-packed. Obviously, there is a backstory of the main character thrown in the mix of the present story to better understand her point of view throughout the story. Overall, the story is very well written and easy to follow. I do like how the author does put the enemy’s point of view at certain points in the story. It does make it easier to comprehend what’s going on with the enemy’s side.
Another enjoyable and engaging cozy mystery in this series featuring journalism student and amateur sleuth Eve Sawyer. Whilst on spring break Eve gets drawn into investigating a murder case. Her friend Bob is grieving the death of his Uncle Will, but although it was ruled that he died of natural causes Bob thinks it was foul play. Soon after she arrives Eve feels the same and uses her sleuthing skills along with her journalism expertise to look into the mystery. Eve is struggling to solve the case with only scant evidence when another murder occurs. Following the death of a guest at the local inn Eve needs to find the killer before there’s another murder. I love being back with Eve as she’s such a likeable and relatable main character and I always feel invested in her story. The small historic mining town Eve was visiting was brought vividly to life through the descriptive narrative. Once again I felt fully immersed in the storyline and the plot kept me hooked throughout.

The story of Jessica Watts continues in this suspenseful, page turner. Jessica Watts, a paralegal, studying to be a lawyer, stumbles upon a situation where a loved one and other women are in danger. She stops at nothing to help them. She discovers boundaries are hard to keep when someone you love is at risk. Jessica, who is still fighting her own troubled past, is addicted to helping others. She is strong-willed and focused, even if it destroys the life she had slowly and painfully rebuilt for herself. When everyone tells her to stop, her need to do the right thing and help others, takes over. She is part detective, part hero, and craves for her life to have meaning. Her friends and loved ones try to get her to see how valuable she really is. The storyline is compelling and believable. It can be a true story. I cannot wait for the next book in the series! 5 stars – Had me enthralled until the end.

After having the best orgasms of her life Nicole sneaks out of Callum’s and back to her life in the States. Callum couldn’t have asked for a better end to his summer. As he prepared for the start of the school year, nothing could prepare him for Nicole sitting in his senior lit class. Callum, a Titan, is used to getting what he wants but could he get what he wanted from Nicole? I really love reading this author’s works. She knows how to hook her audience and keep the pages turning. I can’t wait to see what is next for the Titans of Chicago!

I really enjoy finding new authors. This is the first book from this author I have read and I quite enjoyed it. One of my favorite fantasy creatures of mine is dragons and boy this really hit the spot. I like how the author is able to bring the characters to life. The story has a very good mix of drama and adventure. I found myself unable to put this book down. The characters have a very dynamic chemistry that really holds the reader’s imagination. The book just flows. I really look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Paige has a lot going on and when it’s good, it’s great, but when it’s bad, it’s horrible. She has a long-term boyfriend, is an actress on a popular series and is going to college for journalism. But then, everything falls apart. She gets a new job, meets a new guy and tries to find a positive spin on what is going on in her life.
I loved her interactions with her grandmother and the articles she sends to Paige. Her new job and the way that they are able to utilize her amazing skills instead of just seeing her as an intern or an actress are great. The comfort level between Paige and Victor from the beginning is great and how easily they discuss things that some take years to discuss.
I’ll be going back and reading the 1st book in the series.

A.D. Brazeau hit my sweet spot with this first book in The Casket Girls series. I am a sucker for any paranormal romance that includes vampires and Greek mythology! Also Blood and Ravens is perfectly spicy, loved it so much! I loved the tension between Greer and Theron. It was the perfect amount and the backdrop of 1700s New Orleans was really cool and well written. Of course I am going to snag the second book in this tantalizing series, Blood and Vengeance! I highly recommend this series!

What an amazing sequel to The Apothecary’s Curse. Barbara Barnett weaves a beautiful world beyond your wildest dreams! A world full of darkness and hope, Celtic and fairy lore, and amazing characters. Gaelen is such a fun and complex character, I enjoyed seeing Barnett’s world through his eyes. This series is truly unique and well thought out even the tiniest detail has purpose. I highly recommend reading this wonderful tale of you’re wanting to go on a journey through the bad and the good.

I picked up this book on a whim because I do enjoy reading motorcycle club romances. I mean the men involved are definitely all male, alpha, and the action in them is usually pretty spot on, and wrecked didn’t disappoint. I love an alpha male or a dude who is a total a**hole, but still has a soft spot for his lady and treats her amazingly well. In wrecked we have Reaper who after going through some stuff wrecks his bike and the trauma leaves him unable to ride, love, or really care about much, but enter our leading lady Ari who is fleeing traumas of her own. Both damaged in some way, struggling to overcome their trauma, can they in fact form a life together? You should pick up this book to find out. I definitely enjoyed reading their story.

I read all of these when published individually. I really enjoyed reading and following along on his journey. How convenient to have the ability to purchase them all at once in the trilogy, so when you finish one you can jump right into the next book as I’m sure you will want to.

This is the first book in the Rockstar Series. This is a rockstar romance which is full of chemistry and sizzle. The characters were likeable however at times I wasn’t as full invested in the couples story has I should be which was a bit of a shame for me, however I did enjoy the story overall.
This is a story of how two people met at random and that one meeting impacts them. Lucy has had a schoolgirl crush on Jesse for years and when she meets him at the airport she can’t believe her luck. The meeting feels awkward but things change when they meet years later. Lucy is now a famous actress and when she is set to perform in a music video she doesn’t realise it is for Jesse’s band. As they spend time together sparks start fly and when Jesse suggests they spend the weekend together Lucy jumps at the chance. However what will happen when what should have been a weekend of wild fun turns into something more. When Jesse realises that Lucy is the one will she be brave enough to put her heart on the line or will her past experiences stop her from taking a chance of the guy she has always wanted.
This is a very steamy story and some of the language and scenes maybe a little too steamy for some readers. Parts of the story felt a little awkward which for me spoils the story a little bit. Overall it was an ok read if you like rockstar romances with a bad boy who likes to talk dirty. Me personally I didn’t feel as invested in the characters as I would have liked to but it was still an enjoyable read.
