Picking Pismo by Emi Hilton – Review by Angela Hayes
Picking Pismo by Emi Hilton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Picking Pismo by Emi Hilton is a story with a little bit of an emotional wallop, in a good way.
Claire’s life takes a bit of a detour when the death of her mother makes her the guardian of her thirteen-year-old sister, bringing with it all the challenges, angst, grief, heartache, and drama that you would expect in this life-changing situation. Add in the fact that Claire’s life back in LA- so her time in Pismo Beach is limited to getting her mother’s affairs in order, before returning to LA with her sister in tow. Pismo Beach has nothing to offer her anymore. Or does it? Add in the local orthodontist who has been burned by love- and a touch of fate- and things take an interesting turn. But what happens when his past threatens their blossoming relationship? Plus, she’s only in town temporarily anyway- so what future could they possibly have? With choices to make, doubts and challenges to overcome- things might be over before they’ve really begun….
A story about finding love unexpectedly, taking a chance on love, new beginnings, family, heartache, grief, and more.
Happy Reading…
Thank you, Emi Hilton!
