Brooke May does it again, with yet another fiery romance in The Predator series! We finally see the outcome of Katie and Chamberlain’s reunion and follow along with their rollercoaster of a relationship. I was so excited to find out if they could overcome their past misunderstandings and find out whether they could reconnect on a romantic level, or if Katie’s family ruined yet another part of her life. This book is the perfect mix of life lessons, romance, sports, and of course, a great storyline to keep you wanting more on every page that you turn. The romance is hot, the boxing matches are exciting, and the friendships are so heartwarming. Who says family is only those you are related to by blood, sometimes the best family is the ones that you get to choose yourself, and this story proves this. I love that we get to delve deeper into Beth and Scott’s story as well as follow alongside Katie and Chamberlain’s reunion, and we get to know the adorable Marissa, who is the perfect mix of the best of both parents. I am so excited to continue reading the next books in this series. If you like romance and are a fan of persevering characters who deal with real-life issues, you’ll love this series.
