I enjoy dystopian books and I really liked the cover if this book. I wasn’t really sure what I was getting into but I thought The Veil was a new take on dystopian stories. It was really interesting in my opinion. I also really liked Selene’s character. The writing took me some time to get used to. I felt like there were a lot of “extra” words and a bit chaotic. However, I would still recommend this book. I think it’s worth it and am looking forward to finding out what comes next.
