This is a fun book. Great for kids just starting school or first libraries. In this book you meet Joe. He can’t wait to go to school and learn how to read. Each morning her spells his name with his alphabet cereal. He can’t wait to learn more words. Joe goes to school and is super excited. The teacher shows the kids around the room. After they learn where things go they start with colors. But what about reading? When will she show him that? He goes one an adventure to find someone to teach him to read. He learns a big lesson about learning taking time.
