Down by the River is an engaging, beautifully illustrated children’s book that offers a in depth look into our rivers, all the things you see in them, and what all is around them. I liked how the story flowed smoothly, rhymed, and how it brought up things for my kids to question, research, and test. This author writes books that myself and my family enjoy reading and Down by the River was no exception.
