“Back in the Ring” by Brooke May is the fourth installment in The Predator Series, but it stands well on its own. The story follows Bijou Augustine, a young widow struggling to keep her late husband’s dream alive while raising her daughter in a small Georgia town. The arrival of Noah, a mysterious mountain man with his past traumas, brings new challenges and unexpected hope into Bijou’s life.

May’s writing is engaging, and she skillfully balances themes of grief, resilience, and new beginnings. The characters are well-developed, making it easy to connect with their journeys. This book is a heartfelt exploration of healing and finding strength in adversity.
