Children of The Future by Jane Suen. This is such a good short mystery. Its the story of bus driver Terrance “Telly” O’Brian and student Billy. One afternoon Telly goes to his bus to find all the children missing and also 3 teachers are gone. How could all 25 children and 3 teachers disappear all of a sudden? Telly and Billy are determined to find them because Telly really cares for the kids and the whole town of Rocky Flats is in panic mode. As Telly and Billy follow footprints that stop suddenly in a clearing and find a creepy warehouse filled with black SUVs, the town has decided Aliens have abducted them! Police start search parties and everyone is genuinely doing everything they can. Just when they think they’ve got it figures out Telly goes missing!
