Eye of the Storm (A Gray Ghost Novel, book 2) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Anastasia Dodson

This is the second book in the Gray Ghost series. This audio was about 6 hours and so i was able to listen to it in one afternoon. Chris and Mari are the main characters and i loved them!! So much happens in this book and they come together in the jungle and it was such an interesting and crazy way. They’re in danger but will they be able to save themselves or be lost in the jungle forever?
I couldn’t get enough of this audio. The story was fantastic and the narrator was amazing. I will definitely listen to more books by both in the future!
HAPPY LISTENING!

Exhale and Move On AUDIO BOOK by K.L. Shandwick – Review by Mirela Ruiz

Exhale and Move On AUDIO BOOK by K.L. Shandwick was a steamy romantic read. I loved the non traditional relationship types that were portrayed. The details were there in spades and I definitely got overwhelmed at points. It was a very mellow listen; I could listen to the narrator every day. I cannot wait for my next listen by this author.

READY FOR FLYNN, PART 1 (READY FOR FLYNN SERIES) AUDIO BOOK by K.L. SHANDWICK – Review by Heather Lovelace

Four stars

Wow. This audiobook kept me completely glued to the story. Shandwick is a relatively new author to me and proving to be a must read. I thought the narrator did a beautiful job providing an emotional depth and connection to the story. I can’t wait to continue the series and see what comes next.

Exhale and Move On AUDIO BOOK by K.L. Shandwick – Review by Kerry Baker

Exhale and Move On Audio Book by K.L. Shandwick is a book about finding yourself in life and not being afraid of going after it. I was pulled into this book initially entirely on the narrator alone. He had the kind of voice that I could just listen to all day and it was the absolute perfect pairing for this book and this character! It honestly felt like we were listening to the character himself which made it much easier to connect with him.

I was a little disappointed with the overall story. I struggle to connect with it and at times wondered what the overall point was. I also thought a couple of tiles it was a little predictable. However I also found that I had to know how it all ended so I was clearly invested in the story enough to become that committed to it. I did like how the author created a small crossover between this book and another series she has done. I thought it added a nice touch to it. I think had the book been less about all the different steamy scenes and a bit more about the depth then it would have been perfect. However it was good enough that I would definitely check out more from this author in the future.

Maggie has haunted this old house for years. Naomi, a writer has just moved in with her cat. The cute little cottage is next to a cemetery and is the perfect place to write her next book. Naomi had just left a bad relationship and wanted a new start. When she meets Ryan, he is perfect in many ways, always hungry and never late, and Bryce is the handsome neighbor, with one cutie of a daughter. She is torn who she wants to spend time with. Well that is all you get for now.

Mya O’Malley wrote this suspenseful paranormal. It is well written and fun to read. If you like ghosts and solving crimes. I read this story years ago, I loved it then. I love it even more as an Audiobook. The characters are well explained and true to their descriptions. The story is fast paced and will keep you reading until the end. I absolutely recommend this book in Audio for the bone chilling intense storyline. Well Done Mya O’Malley!  Well Done!

I really enjoyed listening to this story. The narration was good and definitely brought the story to life. I really enjoyed the story; it was engaging and the characters’ story was great to listen to. I was really impressed with the authors attention to detail and because of the narration I really did feel like I was right there with the characters, I could imagine everything I was listening to. I haven’t read or listened to any of the other stories in this series but I definitely will be seeking them out now. I loved trying to solve the crimes and guess what was going to happen. A highly recommended audio book!

This was a really lovely audio book and I enjoyed listening to it.

I really enjoyed Connor’s story and could feel all of his emotions. I can only imagine the kind of loss that he is currently going through but he was really well supported by the local community. They all clearly loved his mother very much as did he. The way in which the author wrote this story felt like I was going through the grieving process with Connor. Along with Connor were some really lovely secondary characters, I especially liked Mary Ann; she seemed so sweet and genuine. The narrator really got the emotion of the story across well.
A beautifully written story and i would definitely recommend the audio book.

There were moments my heart hurt for these two characters . I loved the narrator her tone of voice was actually kinda soothing. This is a story about Jenny and Teddy. Ready For Flynn, Part 1 (Ready for Flynn Series) Audio Book by K.L. Shandwick – Review by Charlisa Wahtomy-Alba

Valerie is a 15-year-old who developed a crush on her brothers roommate when he was brought home for Thanksgiving. Sparks fly between the two, but Flynn is warned off by her brother. Because of his love and respect for his roommate he doesn’t act on his feelings. Flynn feels that the best course of action is to leave Valerie alone until she is ready to move forward with a relationship if she so chooses. At first she is upset that he left without a good-bye, but over time she does her best to get over him. She soon starts to date a young man that she grew up with and whom her family seems to like very well. Flynn of course has always been in the back of her mind and she has kept up to date with him once she found out he dropped out of school to become a rock star. When tragedy strikes and she loses several people she loves in an accident, Flynn is there by her side to help her though it all. Will there ever be a time when he doesn’t answer her call? He is a big celebrity now and has millions of people watching every aspect of his life while Valerie is a small town girl living on a farm. Listening to all the heartache that Valerie endured while she was going through her teen years was tough. I admit I cried a bit, but there were also moments that made me smile and laugh. I enjoy reading books, but to hear the emotion behind words is sometimes more powerful than what is written on the page. Both the author and narrator did a great job bringing these characters to life and making them relatable.

My Sweet GIMy Sweet GI by T.L. Wainwright
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this story. So well written, the characters and plot have been well thought out by the author and the narrator really brings the story to life, she added such an exciting element to the story. I enjoyed that this is set in the war years and it really transported me to Yorkshire in the 1940s. My heart went out to Jenny as she was entering into her womanhood during a war, learning how to be an independent and determined girl and follow her dreams. Following her love story with her beloved Teddy was full of romance. This was one of my favourite audiobooks yet!

Safe Harbor: A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 5 AUDIO BOOK by Valerie Davisson – Review by Cora Ryan

Logan McKenna is VERY curious! Her curiosity gives her a need to constantly solve things which sometimes lead her to dangerous situations. This is obviously what makes the story more exciting for the reader. The intensity and excitement in this book keeps you wanting more the more you read it, you HAVE to know how it ends or you wont sleep well at night. The not knowing what was going to happen next kept me hooked from the beginning. Listening to this book made me get into the story even more, I felt like I was part of what was happening. My reading experience was definitely amplified by listening to this book as opposed to reading it, the narrator did a great job!

Safe Harbor: A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 5 AUDIO BOOK by Valerie Davisson – Review by Kerry Baker

Safe Harbour Audio Book by Valerie Davisson is the fifth book in the Logan McKenna series. As a book I had already read I was looking forward to listening to the audio version and I can definitely say I enjoyed it. I did notice a little more with the audio book that, without having read or listened to the previous books in the series, you could miss a few details. It can be a stand-alone but I would highly recommend starting at the beginning to really get all the extra details.

I still love the book – the intricate story and the brilliant characters. I don’t think for me that the story hit home quite as well with it being narrated, it felt like some of the intensity and mystery was lost. However it was easy to picture the events taking place and feel like I engaged with them. This is such a brilliant series and this won’t be the last audio version that I listen to!

READY FOR FLYNN, PART 1 (READY FOR FLYNN SERIES) AUDIO BOOK by K.L. SHANDWICK – Review by Kerry Baker

Ready For Flynn Audio Book by K.L. Shandwick is Part 1 in the Ready For Flynn series. This book was such a surprise for me and how emotional I found it. I pretty much went into this book blind and I found myself completely swept up in the story and the journey of Valerie. I completely didn’t expect just how emotional I would find this book. Even as I was listening I knew what was about to happen and yet it still caught me completely off guard.

I thought the book itself was well written and paced perfectly and it was also narrated just right. I could easily picture everything that the author had written and I found myself getting lost in the voice. This is a brilliant book and a great audio book. I would highly recommend it!

The Inheritance, The Story of an Unlikely Submissive AUDIO BOOK by India Kells – Review by Heather Lovelace

This is NOT for young ears. Kells will always be your go to for a steamy romantic suspense. And wow – hearing it come to life – get a fan! The narrator did a good job with the material and was pleasing to listen to. I enjoyed the book in both forms and am glad I found the audio to enjoy.

Safe Harbor: A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 5 AUDIO BOOK by Valerie Davisson – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is the fifth book in this series which I enjoyed listening to.  This is an easy, engaging story to listen to.  The narrator’s voice made the story fun and entertaining.  It was easy to listen to and understand.  It has twists and turns that keep you wanting to know what will happen next. Logan makes a great character and always finds herself in the middle of something. In this story she finds herself in the middle of two murders. Things turn and safe harbor is needed but will they all find it? Will someone be left out? I really enjoyed listening to this story.  I highly recommend this audio.

My Sweet GI AUDIO BOOK by T.L Wainwright – Review by Sunday Barnaby

My Sweet GI by T.L. Wainwright

Narrated by Rook Kingston

Four Stars

My Sweet GI is a beautiful historical romance by T.L. Wainwright. This is the first book I have read/listened to by this author, but it definitely won’t be the last. This book features Jenny and Teddy, and their story in England during World War II. This book is a little bit sweet with a little bit sassy. I listened to this book in one sitting because I just couldn’t stop until it was finished. It was well worth my time.

This book is narrated by Rooke Kingston. This was the first book I have listened to by this narrator, and I just fell in love with her voice. I look forward to listening to more books narrated by Rooke in the future.

Ready For Flynn, Part 1 AUDIO BOOK by K.L. Shandwick was an emotional listen. I loved the author’s attention to detail and the narrator’s ability to bring it all to life. You get swept into Valerie’s life and like everyone’s life at 15 it is dramatic. I enjoyed Flynn’s character and the fact that he kept coming back for Valerie. I went through a ton of emotions and loved every minute of it. This book was definitely a great escape.

Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Pippa Woods

4 out of 5 stars!!

This was my first McKinley Audiobook, so I had no idea what to expect other than I loved the synopsis and the cover.   I’m so glad I judged this book by the beautiful cover and snatched it up!  McKinley’s skill with world-building was just as beautiful as the Italian setting she describes, and don’t get me started on the characters!!  STONE!! Holy Smokes!! Handsome, wealthy, set in his ways Alpha with a “pretend” soft spot for his assistant!  Adeline is strong, beautiful, confident, and really dang good at her job especially when her role became loving “fiancé” to her boss.  I truly loved McKinley’s attention to making both of the leads independent, mentally healthy, confident individuals who truly formed a mutually beneficial bond.  That doesn’t mean it always goes well for them, but you feel that both Stone and Adeline are a true catch worthy of finding love, even if it isn’t with the other.  I can’t wait to find my next McKinley read!!

Flowers in December AUDIO BOOK by Jane Suen – Review by Mirela Ruiz

Flowers in December AUDIO BOOK by Jane Suen was such an emotional read. Having lost a family member recently I felt the thought process was very human and realistic. There are a lot of human moments and acceptance in the process. While it was a quick story there was a good plot, lots of details, and an emotional journey. I found the narrator’s voice really soothing and the pacing well done

Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Robin Rankin

Fake Fiancé by Amy McKinley is one of those books that is easy to get lost in.  Ms. Brown’s voice is very pleasant and helped me get lost a little more in the story.

Adeline is young and ambitious and ready to start the next phase of her life in Italy without a clue on how much is going to happen once she gets there.

I have never had the pleasure of going to Italy but it’s on my list, and Verona is pretty high on my list of cities to visit, partially because of this book.

Safe Harbor: A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 5 AUDIO BOOK by Valerie Davisson – Review by Heidi Schoolman

This is the fifth book in the Logan McKenna series.  This audio book is just under 7 hours long.  The story follows Logan as she goes on a vacation – one she has not taken in years – and ends up getting pulled into a homicide investigation. Just when she thought she would be able to enjoy a family vacation, a murder happens in a normally quiet town. Trouble seems to follow this poor girl. The characters are well written, and scenery is very detailed. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. This series get better and better.

Exhale and Move On

AUDIO BOOK

By K.L. Shandwick

☆☆☆☆☆

This is a full length steamy romance story. Definitely not for those under 18. But the rest of us can listen and enjoy.

RICK Fars has what every man could want. His music has made him popular with the help of his band. More money than he could ever spend. He has any woman he wants. Which he takes, but no true romance and never the same one. He loves women sometimes 2 at a time. But there is still something missing. Will conversations and honesty help him find what is missing? Can he accept where his life is leading him?

K.L. Shandwick is one of my favorite romance authors. Although this genre took me to unexplored territory. I enjoyed this story as well as the narration. This story is fast paced and interesting. So much so I could not stop listening. The characters played their parts well. Coral quietly questioned her choices. But the boys have their own questions as well.  I found this story informative as well as interesting. K.L. Shandwick never disappoints, this book proved that. Well Done K.L. Shandwick! Well Done!

READY FOR FLYNN, PART 1 (READY FOR FLYNN SERIES) AUDIO BOOK by K.L. SHANDWICK – Review by Meg Tyrrell

This is a first author for me. I loved this story and the narration was fantastic. This story was amazing and well thought out with consistent word building to keep you on the edge of your seat. This story follows Valerie from the times she’s 15 till she’s almost 19. The trials and life situations she has to endure hard heart and soul shattering. Everything about this story is great. There were a few times I wanted to yell at her, but it’s been a real long time since I was 15. Which with all the emotion this book brought out in me I’d have to say it was FANTASTIC! Can’t wait for the next part in Flynn and Valerie’s story.

Flowers in December AUDIO BOOK by Jane Suen – Review by Bobbi Wagner

I loved listening to this entertaining audio.  This is my first audio from this author.  I loved being pulled into the story by the voice of the narrator.  This is a great author who has chosen a great narrator for her story.  I enjoyed the tone of voice and the voice changes throughout the story.  This is a story about loss of a parent and loss of yourself.  The characters are lovable, connectable and will pull you into their world.   A story of a man who loses his mother and has returned home to realize that he has no one left in his life. He finds companionship in the cat that his mom left behind. Will this cat be the healing that he needs? Will he finally be free of the evils and be able to heal?   I highly recommend this audio, it is truly worth the pick up
