I’m Theresa Sederholt, and I like writing. More than that, I love to tell stories. I write in multiple genres, but my heart, my passion, lies in writing stories that connect to those that have withstood dramatic, personal experiences. I want to bring awareness and understanding by dealing with subject matter that is intimidating to navigate.

 I’m a midwestern nurse practitioner and lawyer who writes in my spare time. Following a bout with a pesky brain tumor, I changed careers and, realizing how tenuous all our grips on life are, including my own, I decided to start writing. I had so many stories to tell! Who knew how long I would have to get them out? I have one Indie published novel to my credit, Drifting, Falling — Diary Of A Call Girl Suicide. We are all damaged, as one of my characters says, with a dead-on smack of truth I have two rescue dogs, one of whose name is Ruger, like the firearms manufacturer. Not a name I would have given him, but no sense changing his name at age three. However, he inspired me to name Cady’s dog Beretta, which fits in very well with the story line of Stand Your Ground, my next novel that just debuted in August.

Cynthia Hamilton started writing 2000 as a means of coping with a mystery illness that was finally diagnosed as Late-Stage Lyme Disease nine years after the onset. Writing has been her lifeline and a way to channel that overly-active inner voice. That horrible disease turned out to be a blessing in disguise, giving her a career she never imagined for herself, one that never gets old.
