I really enjoyed the story of Gina and Bryce. She was a very likable character and was easy to connect to. I loved the development of her relationship and how they grew together despite their insecurities. The tight knit relationships with her band of sisters was heartwarming especially with all that she endured in life. I saw that this is book 3 of the series and it really read well as a stand-alone. I usually feel like I’m missing something when it’s the second, third or fourth book even though the stories aren’t completely connected. I would definitely like to read others in the set!

This book is the third in a series and can be read as a stand alone. However, the characters really build as the series goes on, and it helps to read the other books to relate and care about the main character, Dahlia Nite. Dahlia is a strong female character who is so conflicted. She is trying hard to hide this other world from humans while maintaining a foot in both worlds. She wants to save the city from monsters, but all of the hiding and being in both worlds wears on Dahlia. A great story with the solid and relatable Dahlia!

A sweet romance with a bit of steamy thrown in. Levi and Brynn had good chemistry with some amusing banter. The side characters definitely add good value in this story too. I enjoyed how easy this was to read and follow, worth a read if you like second chance sports romances. I will definitely be checking out other books from this author.

This is a Contemporary Romance novel and is 298 pages in length. This story follows Gina, a former Army Sergeant and Bryce, an arson inspector. Gina spends her days teaching online and dabbling with her hobbies. Gina keeps to herself because while on duty she suffered serious burns from a bomb. When Bryce and Gina run into each other, sparks fly. Gina’s wall slowly starts to crumble. But can she move forward thinking he will be turned off by her scars?
This is such an entertaining story. A second chance romance that is funny and well written I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters really were amazing. They had obvious chemistry from the moment they met. I found myself laughing more than once as the story progressed. The author really made it easy to engage with the story. These are the kind of characters that it is so easy to root for as you want them to work things out. This was a brilliant book that I would highly recommend.

I loved the push and pull of Luca and Aly’s relationship. It kept me on the edge of my seat and even tears in my eyes at some points. This is a true Romeo and Juliet story.
This book is a look into the life of Lizabeth Gordon after the unimaginable loss of her husband and her connection to her past. Lizabeth needs a fresh start and travels cross country to her hometown to grieve and find herself. Charlotte, Lizbeth’s cousin, is an intriguing character that you will fall in love with. She provides a shoulder for Lizbeth but also is very frank with her. Both are amazing characters that you will easily connect with throughout the story. When Lizbeth arrives in North Carolina, she finds that there are family secrets that have been long buried and that leads her on a path to find the truth. There is a lot of historical information included in the book that was a great view into the Civil War era and the author did an amazing job of weaving that into this story. This was a great read!!

This is the great first book in a new hockey series. I had never previously read any of this author’s work but I love a hockey romance so decided to give it a chance. I’m so glad that I did because I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series. It is a second chance romance which is also a trope that I really enjoy reading so that’s another plus point for this book. I was pulled into the story from the very first chapter but was confused by one thing. I was sure this story was a bout Brynn and Levi, so why was I reading about Brynn and the very hot Bridger? I even went back to the synopsis to check. All was soon revealed. If only I had given the story a real chance to get started. I really enjoyed reading Brynn and Levi’s story. Both are really great characters to read and I could have read about them for hours. One thing I loved about this book is the cast of secondary characters: Brynn’s very feisty best friend Tia and the rest of Levi’s team mates. Their interactions make for some very fun and enjoyable reading. I laughed a lot while reading this book. I really can’t wait to read Tia and Bridger’s story which comes next and then whatever else the author has in store for the Astoria Bay Thunder hockey boys.

I felt connected to Titania from the beginning as I also deal with anxiety. How she was able to push her anxiety away while making new friends, meeting new fae and struggling to keep her kingdom safe was impressive. I can’t wait to read more about her and all the other characters. Highly recommended!

This book started off slowly, to me, but became more exciting once Lizbeth discovers the stories from her ancestor, Laurette. I love the character development and the author’s attention to detail. I recommend this book for anyone interested in Civil War history.

While the author’s first two books have a lot of spice in them, this is a nice, slow burn of a romance. It was interesting to see Miles’ all grown up, and to see him find a love like his parents.

That saying don’t judge a book by its cover, this is one of them. It started off very quickly that this book was going to be something that I wasn’t expecting. Secrets that were buried, but they started to come out, it was a roller coaster like ride reading about the way Lizbeth started having to deal with everything after her husband died. She encounters the impossible from the beginning to the end. The flow and main plot were amazing throughout the book. It kept me intrigued and entertained the whole way that I couldn’t put it down. Cade is back on stage in the second book of this series, on tour with his wife and his son. Lecia returns home, and suddenly Miles falls ill, resulting in the unexpected return of Cade to their home in North Carolina. The author did a good job with this sequel. It has a lot of twists and turns, and there’s a big moment that’s hard to see coming. Taking place about 8 years after the first, she does a good job of pulling the audience back into the Moore family story.

What an amazingly fun story! I laughed and shook my head at the antics in this one. The story is fast paced and easily kept me turning pages. The characters were written very well. They had growth and changes throughout plus they made me laugh. Levi and Brynn are well matched. My only little issue is I wishes something would have been in here about how her mom and Brynn reacted now. It was kinda glossed over.
There is a lot of time spent getting to know the team. It made this filled with humor as they are just boys in mens bodies. I enjoyed getting to know Bridger and his family and can’t wait for his story because…well…Tia is a fireball! He is going to have his hands full with her!
Overall I really enjoyed this and I look forward to more in this series.

This contemporary romance took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it, and had me hooked from start to finish. Former Army sergeant Gina Fisher was badly burned from a roadside bomb two years ago, but is now finally ready to live her life again. She now finds inner peace by sewing and crafting and teaches children online, but she is keeping herself apart from everyone but her sisters. When she meets Arson inspector Bryce Cambridge she can not deny their chemistry but she is quick to shoot him down. However, Bryce won’t give up and soon he has Gina lowering the walls she’s built around her heart. As their relationship develops Bryce wants to know all of Gina, but she’s reluctant to show him her physical wounds from burns and shrapnel, let alone her emotional wounds. The chemistry between Gina and Bryce literally sizzles and their connection really comes across in the narrative. They are both likeable and relatable characters who I felt engaged with and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their well deserved HEA.

The author really has you on the edge of your seat as you read this final book in the Thunder one the Moor series! The author is very descriptive down to the language used to portray these wonderful characters, and you sit in suspense as you wait impatiently for the next twist and turn! I was so excited to get to book 3, AND it did NOT disappoint! You will fall in love with and be incredibly irritated by some characters, wonder, wait, what just happened, and then reach the end better off than when you started. This is a great book and I am looking forward to other series from this intelligent author!

I absolutely love Gina for her bravery. I just wanted to give her one big hug. I was so happy when she found Bryce even though she is closed off. I love how they wanted to work and were willing to make it work. Real relationships show work, and this showed it!

I REALLY enjoyed the first book in the series and just couldn’t wait to start on the next. I didn’t know how well I would enjoy this one considering how much i loved the first. My fears were totally unfounded. There was another great mystery, drugs that blow people up/make them monsters?? Super cool! I love Dahlia and Casey was really a treat. There is so much development to the storyline and to Sentinel City- that it really makes you wish you were there/experiencing it! Y’all should read the first and then hope onto this one! I’m eager for the next!
A Hundred Wishes (Band of Sister) by Marianne Rice is a contemporary romance- about finding love unexpectedly and taking a chance on love. It has a wounded warrior component to it, as well as emotion, secrets, and sizzling chemistry. This book could be read as a standalone, but you might find as I did, that one book will lead you to wanting to read more. Gina’s life got turned upside down when she was wounded by a roadside bomb while serving in the army two years ago. She has bravely rebuilt a life for herself, but never really puts herself ‘out there’, always keeping her distance so as not to feel the sting of hurt or rejection. But when Bryce enters her world, he seems to be able to scale the massive walls she has surrounded herself with. Will he be able to handle ALL her secrets, dismantle her defences, and get her to take a chance on love? Another emotional and yet heartwarming story from this talented author. The instant chemistry between the two MCs is what romance novels are made of. The story was everything you would expect from a romance, yet unpredictable making it so that you absolutely left this world behind and were transfixed by their story. There is a found family here, strong bonds, and passion! Its a perfect book to curl up with and escape to dreams of true love and fated souls. Tia is likely my favorite character because I love her no-nonsense attitude! I also really enjoyed Bridger and I am so excited to get more of him and Tia.
I read this book not knowing there was a prequel story, but I did not get lost at all. Just when I finished, I thought about how great it would be to get the backstory of those particular characters, and BAM! They have their story, so I am definitely picking that up! haha.
If you are looking for a romance story that is relatively short and easy to get lost in, give this one a shot!

I absolutely loved this story about second chances. Levi and Brynn are an amazing couple. This story is what second chance love is supposed to be like. I couldn’t put it down. If you want a quick romance story that is an amazing read, I recommend this story.
