She's No CowgirlShe’s No Cowgirl by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

She’s No Cowgirl is a sports romance book and boy do I love these books!!!! I could not put this book down from the very beginning.
The characters pull you in immediately and you can not but fall in love with the romance and what will happen in the next aspect of this storyline. The chemistry between Hunter and Kennedy is great and you can not help but push for them to have their happy ever after… but will it be in the cards for them or will drama and secrets hinder that journey??? This is definitely a must read!!! And I personally can not wait to read more from this wonderful author.

Faerie's Magic (Seasons of the Fae Book 1)Faerie’s Magic by Jessica Feyden
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Faerie’s Magic: a fae shifter romance (Seasons of the Fae Book 2) by Jessica Feyden is a paranormal fantasy romance. It took me a little while to settle into the story, but it soon drew me in. Love was not what any one thought would happen in the most unlikely of circumstances and despite the difference between them. There is a lot of pain, betrayal and hurt in this good story, but it is all worth it in the end. A Fae princess, a wolf shifter and magic and action abound in this wonderful tale. Jessica’s writing and world building, makes it easy to venture on this journey.

Shattered Reality (Summoned Book 1)Shattered Reality by C.A. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Shattered Reality (Summoned Book 1) by C.A. King is a paranormal fantasy story. Things are not as they seem in this book. Is it magic or insanity? There are a lot of secrets and lies as our MC steps back to what was once her home after her parents killing. Now face to face with her past once again our MC must confront that which she never believed. I enjoyed the story but there were parts where it felt a little disjointed and not flowing as well as it could have. Overall, the story held my attention with the mystery that CA intertwined.

Rookie Moves: A Quick Snap Novella. This story was a fun quick read that had me completely hooked. The author creates characters that are complex and easy to connect with. I’m not much for sports type reads but this one may just change my mind on that way of thinking. I laughed and enjoyed getting lost inside this story. While short it’s not hindered in anyway in fact I think it was everything I could want. The storyline is engaging and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The characters pull you into their world and you won’t want to leave in the end. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it. Excited to see where this author takes readers next.

Child Of Prophecy by J Drew Brumbaugh is the second book in the Tirumfall Trilogy. This book is a fantastic follow up to book 1 and continues the story that you fall in love with. As soon as I started reading this book I was transported right back into this world and the characters that you get to know in book one. The book is full of adventure and fantasy and really is exciting to read. After enjoying book one so much I didn’t want to be disappointed and I was so pleased when the author delivered yet another high quality book. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book and I cannot wait to read book three.

Curse of the Sands (Relic Hunters Book 2) by Martin Ferguson – Review by Kerry Carr

Curse of the Sands (Relic Hunters, #2)Curse of the Sands by Martin Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the Relic Hunters series and wow what a book. The adventure continues with Adam Hunter and his fellow team mates from the British Museum who are brought in to help in Egypt where a pyramid has been uncovered that has never been found before.

So the team embark on the journey to discover who or what the pyramid belongs to. Is it hiding treasures from ancient Egypt or is it just one maze of deadly traps and dangerous almost deadly experiences.

Why would all this protection be in place for nothing at all? Is it protecting something special or is it all a disguise to fool people?

The story is gripping and I love how it flips from ancient Egypt times to present day to help build the story and bring it all together.

Her Blackened HeartHer Blackened Heart by Isra Sravenheart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

CI give Her Blackened Heart (Blackened Series Book 2) by Isra Sravenheart, 4 stars.

I really enjoy this series, and this book just adds to it. It is like reading a dark, adult fairytale. It picks up where book one left off. We see and learn so much more of Astrid in this. We also meet new characters who happen upon the dark castle they call home. They are all wonderful, you never know who is good or bad, or what exactly they are up to. Then there is the story itself. Again, twists and turns leave you guessing the whole way.

If you grew up loving fairy tales, but now root for the evil queen, this book and series is for you. It can be read as a stand alone, but you will understand more if you read book one first.

Reign The Larussio LegacyReign The Larussio Legacy by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reign is the third book in The Larussio Legacy series by Via Mari. This is a fantastic romantic suspense series and this book builds on the previous two- there is a lot going for this story, starting with the mafia, then adding of drama, suspense, action, danger, sizzle, romance, a little mystery, and a dose of angst- all wonderfully carried by a really superb cast of characters.
As I have mentioned many times now, I have read all of Via Mari’s books now and have loved them all. So, having said that, I really did have high expectations for this story- especially since the other two are soooo good- so I am happy to say that Via Mari definitely didn’t let me down- as this is every bit as good, if not better than the previous two. I was glued to the pages from the start, entirely invested in the characters and the outcome of the story- especially more so having met Gio and Serena in the previous book/s. I tore my way through the pages, devouring the story- and entirely engrossed the entire time.
As with her other books, there is plenty of suspense woven through the storyline- the tension in parts is quite palpable and had me on the edge of my seat clamouring to know how it all played out.
I can’t wait to see what she does next!

Thank you, Via Mari!

She’s No Cowgirl (My Cowboy Series Book 5) by Brooke May – Review by Michelle Austin

She's No CowgirlShe’s No Cowgirl by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

She’s No Cowgirl by Brooke May was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

From a young age Kennedy was into sports, she was so determined that she even played one year of tackle football. She wasn’t allowed to return to football so she has decided to take a different journey that will allow her to be fully involved in the sports world. Another role that is usually ruled by men, she is determined to prove women can do just as good as men. I love her character so much.

Hunter’s family is in ranching, he is a college football player during the school year. He wants more for himself other than taking over the family business. When Hunter meets Kennedy you can feel the sparks fly and chemistry come off the pages. These two have so much in common with sports and have the same goals.

Will they both be successful in their goals? Can they have a HEA?

Overall I really enjoyed this couple and their story. All of the secondary characters were great. If you’re looking for a read that pulls you right in this is the book for you. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Her Billionaire Daddy by Allison West is the first book in the Western Daddy Doms series and was a great read! This book was enthralling from the beginning to the end, with some surprising twists thrown in that I wasn’t expecting. I went into this novel, thinking I was going to get nothing but an erotic read, and I got much more! While there was some erotica, it wasn’t as much as I was expecting, and there was more of a storyline than I was expecting. The storyline was great, and it reminded me a bit of Fifty Shades of Grey. I had trouble putting this book down once I started reading it. This novel is an 18+ book, and I highly recommend it.

Her Billionaire Daddy (Western Daddy Doms #1) by Allison West was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning and couldn’t put it down.

Who would have thought doing a favor for his sister would bring Martin face-to-face with someone from his past? Someone that might just be able to help him with a dilemma he is having.

When Martin see’s Samantha she is very familiar to him, then he realizes who she is. For years Samantha had a crush on Martin and was his sister’s best friend. She is now a popular romance writer. Martin has a reputation of being a playboy and Samantha doesn’t want to be a notch on his bedpost. Martin has to find a wife to improve his reputation for an important work deal. Samantha is the perfect person and he is surprised and relieved at her answer to his question.

Can these two keep it professional and stick to the deal? Will they be able to make it through some very challenging times?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. There are several twists and turns and people trying to cause problems. All of the characters were great. The connection these two have was off the charts. We get some steamy moments as well. If you’re looking for a great steamy read and a great couple 1-click and get started on this hot series now. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Shattered Reality (Summoned Book 1) by C.A. King, USA Today Bestselling Author – Review by Angela Hayes

Shattered Reality (Summoned Book 1)Shattered Reality by C.A. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Shattered Reality is the first book in the Summoned Series by C.A King. It is a fantastic story- entirely original, well written, and very clever. It is a modern retelling, based on the ancient story of Perseus and Medusa. Hello, she had me at Medusa- as I love the old myths. We are back in Knollville- where Ms. King has taken us before- so we know we are in for a paranormal treat right from the get-go!
There is more to Mudesa Black than meets the eye. The psychologist spends her days helping people solve their problems, all the while hiding her own demons from the world. On the surface, she may seem like she has an enviable life, but Mudesa has worked really hard to get where she is. With secrets that weigh heavily on her mind- her past impacts her daily life in a way she can’t seem to escape. She is forced to return to her hometown, when her parents are killed. It’s the very place she worked so hard to leave behind, and the place she never wanted to see again. There is more to the situation that meets the eye- but the past seems determined to snatch her future from her grasp.
My review may seem a little vague, but that is on purpose, as I don’t want to give anything away. This is the kind of story I really recommend going into somewhat ‘blind’ and letting the author, and story, surprise you.
This is a wonderfully twisted tale that definitely kept me entertained.
Another great read from Ms. King’s limitless imagination!

Thank you, C.A King!

5/5 Stars

Her Blackened Heart (The Blackened Series #2) by Isra Sravenheart

This was a great read. Sravenheart knows how to make a reader want more. This Paranormal will leave you wanting more.

Lady Isra is still in her tower cloaked to keep the humans away. When a gnome is caught snooping around she makes him her slave. He’s to be her eyes and ears for the humans. The quote I chose for Lady Isra is: “It sounds like you met the love and light brigade. They preach peace, love, and goodness. Oh, how it makes me want to vomit.”

Astrid, Lady Idea’s lover, is a raven. He can change into human form as that’s what Isra did for him. He wonders if there is something Lady Isra is hiding. The quote I chose for Astrid is: “I do not believe that, for I see love in you. It’s just shut away behind a great big wall that you have built up yourself. But I— am a raven, and ravens can fly over any wall you build, no matter how high or how wide.”

A highly recommend Paranormal read for anyone!

Such a great short story!! Rookie Moves is a Quick Snap Novella by Tarrah Anders. Grant Toolson is the new rookie for the Seattle Seahawks. However, he is not making smart moves off the field. Constantly getting into trouble for something and the owners of the organization want him to change his ways. Emily is the mayor of Seattle’s daughter. She is under the constant eye of bodyguards and the city. She is a humanitarian for one thing and when she meets Grant while paring up together at a food bank she doesn’t think anything of it. However, when they meet at a charity dinner is when things kick off between the two. The chemistry between the two is amazing. They balance each other out and it really becomes a whirlwind romance. She calms him down and he lets her be wild and free. It really was a cute story even with the twists that come along with it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves short stories and quick romances. Oh! And I absolutely love that Will Montgomery makes a cameo in this story too!

I liked this story and the way it was written especially dealing with a hot topic, but the author did well with it and brought it awareness.
