Cult (Feisty Lawyers Book 3) By Seelie Kay. This series just keeps getting better and it’s definitely it my top favorites. Each story has drawn me in and hooked me right from page one and this one was no different. The author does a wonderful job of writing a a book that mixes romance and suspense very nicely, the romance isn’t over powering and the suspense definitely had me on my toes. The characters are complex and all bring something different to the story. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. If you’re looking for a new series I highly recommend this one. Five stars all the way.

I just finished reading Squall Line by Gwyn McNamee.
This was such a fresh and fun story line! I really had pictured something completely different after reading about the book and I was excited to read it – let me tell you that I was taken by surprise and it was a thousand times better than what I had in my mind!
I absolutely fell in love with all the characters, the surroundings were described so perfect that I could clearly picture them in my mind and like I said earlier – the story line itself was amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat, for all the right reasons!
Warwick and Grace both surprised me and I love both of them – they are both complex characters that you can’t ever pin down and you’ll learn a lot about them and what lead them to be where they are, when you meet them.
I devoured this book and I’m actually going to be reading it again!
That’s how good it is.
Gwyn McNamee is one author that I’ll be looking for, from now on – I really hope that we get to see books about the rest of the characters we saw in this book.
I’d give this book 10 stars if I could. Thank you Gwyn McNamee, thank you.

Cult is the third book in the Feisty Lawyers series.
Out of the three books I’ve read in this series thus far, this one is the best one. I was able to get into it pretty quickly and was able to connect with the characters much better than in the first two.
Cults has a great story line with drama, danger, and mystery. There are some good twists as well that keep things interesting. There was only one aspect of this book that I didn’t care for, but it didn’t overshadow the story on the whole.

5 Star Vermilion Lies (The Order of the Senary Series Book 3) by L.D. Rose
Vermilion Lies is the third Book in The Order of the Senary series. I found myself lost in the pages and I couldn’t put it down till the last page. I had to know what happens next. This is about Dax and Cindel. Holy Cow these two have a pretty intense attraction to each other. But what happens when her past comes back? Can they deal/ handle the consequences of their actions? Will they be able to handle the chaos that will surround them? What does their future look like? Get ready for this action packed, have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what happens next. At times there are some pretty steamy scenes that will definitely have the temperature rising. This is a must read and I suggest reading the first two books in this series as well if you haven’t already. I can’t wait to see what this Author brings us next.

First off I want to say I LOVE the cover of this book. That drew me in right there! Then I start reading and I am captivated by the beginning. Them I’m thinking…it can’t get better?? Yes…yes it does! The names of War’s crew and we won’t even talk about their attitudes but DANG! I love this!
My only and I mean ONLy issue is all the rehashing in their heads! I’m not saying this situation doesn’t warrant it. Pirates..Kidnapping and Mafia..OH My! Each of these characters comes off very strong (not physically) and to hear them be so unsure in their heads turned me off after a while. That’s not to say I didn’t devour this book. Because I did! I read it in one day! This is a great idea for a series. A new avenue of Something that has been missing. Modern day pirates! I can t wait for Cutter’s adventure into romance.

This was an unexpected surprise. I liked that the author took this series and spun in around. She changed the perspective and I felt it was fresh and new again because she did that. This was a short easy read that quickly enveloped me and I fully enjoyed it. It’s a great addition to this series and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Hidden Magic: A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella By: India Kells 5 out of 5 stars
The story Hidden Magic: A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella by India Kells is a paranormal romance book. It is a story that drew me in from the very beginning and I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had read the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Kat and Brant. Kat is a woman who is intelligent and independent. She also is a fugitive and a telepath. She has found someone that she cares deeply about, Brant. Brant is a werelynx without the support of a pack. He has his doubts as to being good enough for Kat. Her being kidnapped has made him understand that she is his mate. What does the future hold for Kat and Brant? Will Kat be rescued? Will they find themselves bonded together? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about Kat and Brant with each chapter that I read. I love how protective Brant is of Kat and how he wants to keep her safe. There are other additional characters that you read about. Many of them are familiar as they have been brought forward from the other books in the series. They are all like family and it is wonderful that they are protective and supportive of each other. This is a story that is hard to put down and at times has emotional moments. It is a book that I would highly recommend reading.

Act I: Seed on Fire (Moore Family Saga) by Michele Sims 5 out of 5 stars
Act I: Seed on Fire is book one in the Moore Family Saga written by Michele Sims. This is also the first book that I have read by this author and I will be reading more of her work. The characters are well written with strong personalities while the secondary characters helped with their quirkiness. The storyline was great and different and the way this author described the scenes made it seem like I was there. There were a few twist and bumps in their road but they made it through this together. Kaiden and Alicia Moore, originally from North Carolina, are enjoying a life full of love and passion. As a young, professional couple who had made their home in New York City, they were busy balancing their careers with the demands of their new marriage which as fate would have it, included an unexpected bundle of joy. They got pregnant on their honeymoon and so began their adventure. Nothing in their lives together has ever been typical and their relationship will forever be changed by a series of nightmares that threaten their love and the life of their unborn child. Will their commitment to each other and support of their family be enough to cope with their challenges? Will they support each other or walk away from each other? You have to read this amazing story…. By Tracy @tracym

This author writes fantastic”black ops” stories and there are always strong female characters in the story. ALEX references characters from previous series but I think that if this is the first book you are reading by this author. you can still follow along as all of the important people are introduced .
Background information is told in flashbacks and the alternating points of view moved the story along nicely. This story has action and adventure and romance and feelings.

Furbidden Attraction: A Cursed Romance (Raven Falls Cursed Romances Book 1) by R. O’Leary 5-Stars
Furbidden Attraction is romantic and funny. This fast paced, easy to read novel, was delightful. I could not put this novel down. Louisa and Jack were creative and fun main characters. There were several instances where the two had me literally laughing out loud. The author did a magnificent job with those two and also a wonderful job on the supporting characters . The different settings were easy to visualize and I loved the variety of animal shifters. This is the first book of this series and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to read more from this author with this series.

Squall Line (The Inland Seas Series Book One) by Gwyn McNamee is a contemporary romantic suspense with a current day twist to piracy. The author opens this series with a bang setting a high speed pace that works for this novel! Grace and War are amazing characters and seeing their depth and development is amazing. This is the perfect pair to kick off this series as supporting characters are also introduced. Gwyn McNamee is a genius in her story lines and The Inland Seas series is no exception! After reading through the suspense, drama, chemistry and just desirable attributes that came forth in this initial book of the series, I can only imagine what will be delivered next!!

Hidden Magic: A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella by India Kells is a paranormal romance story that fits in perfectly within this series. I enjoyed how the author just dove in head first with this particularly story bringing forth a series of events that were energetic, high intensity but intimate and well written. Kat and Brant were magically intertwined here in the most amazing ways that created a powerful and entertaining story. Each piece that India Kells adds into this series is remarkably done and in tune with each of the individual characters and the overall theme of the series.

Shattered is the first book in the Torzial Affair series by Via Mari. The Torzial Affair is a spin of the Prestian Series. I highly recommend you read The Prestian Series first because it will give you the background on all of the characters featured in this book. Shattered had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last. This is Jenny and Brian’s story. It is full of action and the chemistry they have is off the charts. The story flowand I couldn’t believe I came to the end as soon as I did. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. If you like Billionaire book this is the perfect book to read.

Shattered is the opening to Via Mari’s Torzial Affair series that is a spinoff of her Prestian series. I suggest you read that series before you immerse yourself into the Torzial Affair series! I know, you could read it as a standalone but you will get so much more out of it if you have read the Prestian series prior. There is some overlap at the end of the first series timewise but Torzial Affair is a totally different story! Torzian Affair is the story of Jenny and Brian and Shattered is the beginning of it. We have two wounded hearts that have built walls around themselves, for different reasons but still … Via Mari gives us a very intense and steamy romance that touches on some very sensitive and touchy topics – rape, domination and submission … I loved the opening and I cannot wait for the next step in their relationship!

The Embers We Seek (A Rebel Princess Serial, #1) by Acacia K. Parker was a gripping read that had me hooked from start to finish.
My first read from this author I was drawn to this book by its beautiful cover, fairy tale retelling status, and the raving reviews. I was not disappointed in the least, this book delivered what it entailed, and I had this short powerful book read in one sitting.
Coming in at a whopping 58 pages, this book maybe low on the word count, but it is powerful. To the point, no fluff, no filler this book has everything you want and more in an epic fairy tale retelling. There is one point where I’m so engrossed that I forgot that this book is full length, the battler is under way, and the hellhounds are burning the place down, and our MC Wren learns is a heart breaking way that magic comes with a price. I loved that bittersweet ending, and the promise of more to come.
Overall this book is a must read, and it will be told it 10 parts, and according to the author a new serial will be released the last full week of every month, the next one coming on June 27th. I’m definitely going to be keeping a look out for the next instalment, because I believe this series if going to be something special.
So with all that said, please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will love this epic dark fairy tale retelling, and you will not be able to look at Cinderella the same way again.

Hidden Magic: A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella by India Kells 4 Stars
This is a short novella that is part of the Sanctuary Chronicles. The love between Brant and Kat is strong but seeing as he is a werelynx and Kat a human, it is forbidden by the High Council. They have kept their relationship secret until Kat is kidnapped. Brant is forced to come clean because he needs help from his friends at the Sanctuary. Will they be able to save Kat in time before Brant loses the other half of his soul?
Though it’s a short book, it is packed with action and intrigue. There is a really cool battle scene and the author throws in quite a few surprises. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more stories about our friends at the Sanctuary.

Moves by John Michaels is a gripping story that will have you hooked from the word go. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and desperate to know how it was going to end – which was brilliant! As a new author to me I didn’t know what to expect going into this book but what I found was strong character development, intricate storylines and a book I just could not put down. This was one of those book that I would read “just a few chapters of” and before I knew it I had finished it. I was really taken by the main character Robert Jake. I though the author did an amazing job at building the connection between me and the author and him as the character. I was invested in him and his story. I wanted him to find his version of a happy ending. I wanted him to be able to put the past behind him. This was a very well written and intriguing book. I cannot wait to read more by this author in the future.

Behind Blue Eyes (Stockholm Murders Book 1) by CS Duffy. Holy Moly! I’ve never read this author before but I’m so excited to have found her. All I can say is when you start this book, you better sit down and hold on, its a wild ride! Its the story of Investigative Reporter Ellie who has packed up her life in London to move to Sweden to be with the man of her dreams Johan. She thinks she knows everything about Johan and that he’s the man for her. When she moves to Sweden she thinks her life is perfect until she stumbles over a decomposing body and gets thrown into the middle of a murder mystery in a Country where she knows no one and doesn’t even speak the language. She finds out that Johan and his friends may have a lot more information about the dead body than they are letting on. Will Ellie find out Johan and his friends are terrible people or will the truth of Johan’s past come out and set the record straight? This book reminded me of Gone Girl (which I loved) and I’m so excited its a series!

Obsessed by J. Collins is the first book in the Lila Casey Series. I found this book to be a quick an easy read but enjoyable nonetheless. Although I find this type of story to be a little over saturated nowadays I though this author did really well to keep it fresh and interesting. Although it was, in one way, a typical vampire story, it didn’t feel like I was reading something I had read a million times. It has a good story line and great characters. There were times when Lila got on my nerves a little but the more the story went on the more I warmed to her. Her character was really developed well as the book progressed. This was a new author to me and I enjoyed the way they put together the overall arc of the book. This is someone I will definitely be reading more of in the future, starting with the next in this series.

Nite Fire Smoke and Mirrors (Nite Fire #3) by C.L. Schneider 4 Stars!!!!
I am just hooked. This is the third book by this author I have read and I just couldn’t put it down. The author has really got such a refreshing style. The characters just jump right off the pages. I felt as though I was right in the action as the drama unfolds.
I really find that I am drawn to Dahlia’s character. The way that the book unfolds just draws you deeper and deeper into the story. I really like that it is a supernatural mystery. The mix of human and supernatural beings just adds to the story. The partnership of Dahlia and Creed really adds to the drama. Evens being a human and coping in the Supernatural world is just another added bonus. I really like how the author draws out the drama and the mystery . I will definitely be reading more from this author and I hope this series in the future.

Saint Code: Lost by Megan Mackie is the fourth book in the Lucky Devil Series. This book can be read as a standalone although I would highly recommend you giving this whole series a try! This series honestly just gets better. While the previous book wasn’t my absolute favourite this one, for me, is definitely on top form. The whole universe this author has created is so captivating. I always find it so easy to slip right back into the series. St Augustine was brilliant. I really felt like I connected with her from the moment I was introduced to her character. This story just enhances that whole connection. For me this whole series has been completely unique and interesting. I love the combination of themes and how well it has been done. Each book is well paced, with a strong storyline that carries throughout. Megan Mackie is an author who has quickly become a must read for me. I would urge everyone to pick up her books.

When I read this book I didn’t both t read the blurb or look at the cover at all so was initially shocked to realise it was the M/M book that I had been dying to read. These characters have had their story bubbling away in the background for ages and I was so excited to finally get my hands on it. I absolutely loved the two of them together. I honestly couldn’t say which one of them I preferred. They were perfectly compatible together in a way that just sucked me right in. The story was not disappointing either. This is one author I have come to expect high quality work from because time and time again she delivers, which is exactly what happened again this time. This was a brilliant way to end this series, although I am sad there won’t be more to come. I can’t wait to see what Gwyn McNamee does next.

Cult (Feisty Lawyers Book 3) by Seelie Kay. These books are some of my favorites. Anytime I see Seelie Kay I’m all about it. This is the story of our favorite Secret Covert Agents Dianna Murphy & Anders Mark who are newly married and they are sent on a crazy mission. College students around America have started disappearing about the same time a new crazy cult, God’s Delight, has been hosting shows and featuring drugs, sex and rock and roll to get the kids in. When the President’s Goddaughter is among the missing, he demands to know what’s going on. Dianna & Anders think its just a normal operation while they are sent to follow God’s Delight to find out what’s really going on but when Dianna goes missing and can pay with her life they realize this is way more than just a normal mission. This book is so fast paced and suspenseful it will make your head spin. Read Cult you won’t be disappointed!

Steele Resolve (The Hawke Family Book 6) by Author Gwyn McNamee 5 stars
I refuse to believe this series is over. We’ve been through so much from the very beginning and while I had my reservations about Luca, this story did him justice. I cant imagine how hard it is to keep your worlds separated and make everyone happy. And Byron, oh the turmoil he was in for the situation.
This, like all the books in this series, grabs you from the get go and doesn’t let up until the end. If you haven’t read this series yet, start at the beginning or everything will not make sense and also spoil alot! Cannot wait to see what this author comes out with next, but am sad to see these characters go.

Salty Sebastian is the 3rd book in the Smirk Series by Jen Luerssen. I had never previously read any books by this author before this and wasn’t aware when I started that there were 2 books that came before it. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone although the same group of friends appear in each book. I certainly didn’t feel like I was missing any important information when reading this one, although I’m now intrigued as to what went on before. Although I’d like to read the previous book, I’m sure they are going to have a hard job living up to Sebastian and Kit as I loved their story. Salty Sebastian is a contemporary romance that will have you in fits of laughter in many parts. I absolutely adored the interaction with Kit and her 2 dads Peyton and Sig. They really have no filter and are quite happy to discuss their own sex life and that of their daughter, much to the horror of Kit many times. A bit of background to the story – Kit and Sebastian meet and have a wild passionate night in Vegas but don’t as much as exchange their names with each other. Fast forward 2 years and Kit is hired as an intern in Sebastian’s wine business. Let’s just say that their night 2 years previously has never left either of their minds and has changed both their lives in many ways. Can Sebastian and Kit take up where they left off, considering that Sebastian is now her boss? Is Sebastian willing to let a woman get close to him after he has sworn off relationships when he discovered his long term girlfriend with another guy?

This is book four in the Lucky Devil series but can be read as a standalone. You will not regret picking up this book as well as the previous three books in this series. It is a well written story that kept me turning pages. St. Augustine is back in action in this book with strange things happening in her latest mission. She is a great character that is strong and brings the story to life. Her past, present and future are challenged as she takes on a battle. I highly recommend this book.
