As you start to read, you are hooked in by what is going on in the moment, a small event, enough to keep you reading. There is a lot of action and suspense in the story. The characters do complement each other very well, even the minor characters in the story.

From the very first page, the author has you engaged in the story and you need to know what’s happening next. I like how each chapter has the point of view for the main characters, Finlay and Drake. The author has done a great job in creating the context for this particular topic, especially the ins and outs of this type of business. As you read, you get an actual feel for the environment, and the emotions the women and young ladies are feeling.

Okay, I devoured this book in a day. And I am normally a slow reader. I was hooked the entire time. Love all of the suspense and twists in the story as well as the romance. No spice, good banter between the characters, forced proximity trope.
Evie gets mistaken for another woman who a gang is after, but a British P.I saves her from a couple of the goons that try to grab her at the airport. They have to go through a lot to get the targets off their backs so Evie can go home. But they end up slowly falling for each other and saving each other many times, and Evie ends up not wanting to go home, and becomes very involved in the case. It was a great read and I can’t wait to read more from this author

It has been a while since I read a book by this author and I forgot just how incredible her books are. I was instantly pulled in by this story in what felt like no effort by the author. I connected with the characters immediately and wanted to see how everything would develop. They had a strong chemistry and it served to draw me in even more.
I love the way this author tells her stories. They are always so well written and well thought out. I love the feel each book has. They are always completely different from each other but you can hear the author’s voice. This book is brilliant and I would highly recommend it.

Hot mama!!!! I loved this one. The chemistry and sparks could start a forest fire. This story is so good. It’s a great ending to the series. I found the writing strong. The characters were very relatable. The adventures and romance had me wishing I were there myself. What a good time. This was a fantastic read and I highly recommend it.

This is one of the best romantic suspense sets you can get in a box. The Echo series is a fast-paced suspense series that has romance, drama, and usually that second chance you are looking for. Each book has different story yet they are tied together. The women in the stories are strong yet still know that they want the men in their lives. Who wouldn’t need hot, hunky, strong, book boyfriends to rescue them? These men will make your glasses fog and give your sweet dreams. These are wonderful stories that I couldn’t recommend highly enough. Hit that one=click. You won’t be disappointed.
The Changed Man by Cat Treadgold

I am such a fan of this series. The author does such a fantastic job of portraying family dynamics and family relationships. Though this is book 4 and it’s focus is on Jake and his slow burn relationship with Chiara,we see the relationships still developing with the other couples. We also get to see him work on rebuilding his relationship with Joe and his other family members. This book, heck the whole series, hits me in the feelers. I always come away feeling every emotion. These guys feel like they could be part of your family or close friends. They are easy to relate to. Such a strong writing style that pulls you in and you are engaged until the end.

Follow the clues, Caspian! This author has amazing talent in writing children’s books. Kids everywhere need this book/series in their library. All of these authors’ books are open for conversation. Which in turn has parents and children talking. I love this series and the adventures set about.

Stars in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager

I loved this story. The author has a way of writing that leaves you feeling the emotions of the story. The writing was strong and very well-done for the age it was targeted at. I’m an old woman but I really enjoy reading this author’s stories because they remind me of the young adult books that used to come out when I was younger. You felt the story. The characters were exciting and intriguing. Overall, this is a terrific story for the YA/NA group. I’m going to read the sequel to it.
Planting Seeds: Growing Mindful Children Through Yoga by Janice Pratt

As a homeschooling grandmother, I found this to be an engaging and insightful resource to use with my grandson. For obvious reasons I can’t do yoga anymore but we have used videos to work on it with him. The activities and information in the book really help to get that mindset on the right track to be happy and healthy for an anxious child. We wilol be adding this as a fun activity to our daily curriculum.

This is the first book in the PolyAm Fam series. First off Molly Rose the main character is a curvy girl and I love a book with a strong curvy FMC. Lachlan is Scottish and agrees to help out in a student’s thesis project. The sparks between Molly and Lachlan as the play progresses. Molly is part of a polycule. This is the first poly book I have read and I found the whole dynamic interesting.

This is the second book in this series but although it can be read as a stand alone story I would read the first one to give you a better insight into the relationship and how this couple got here. This second book shows more of the venerability and insight into both worlds of the main characters and is brilliant to read.
Zach has always been a strong alpha character but when he is rocked to his core it was lovely to see the softer side to him and what he was prepared to do. Ashton although a Sub her sassy side is always great to read and delve into more as the story goes on.
The twists and turns within the story adds another layer and always the secondary characters are a dream to read an only enhances the story even more.
Can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

There are trigger warnings for any that need them so it’s easy to skip to the next story if that particular one isn’t your thing. Each story is well written and keeps your attention. This was a great collection!

No rest of the wicked is book 1 in the Life is hell series. No rest for the wicked is a paranormal romance. This read was the first book that i have read by this author and I was not disappointed. This was a short and face paced read for me i read it all in one day i couldn’t stop reading it so buckle up for the ride. The way this Author describes everything in the book sucks you right in. This read has Witches and Demons and other supernatural beings is my favorite part always fun to escape into another world. I also just Love Deliliah and can not wait to read more books in this series. If you are into Paranormal romance i highly recommend this book 🙂 .Thank you to this amazing author for another wonderful read.

The book creates worlds which you can delve into and if you don’t have any book boyfriends after this then I will be disappointed in you.
Each story offers a wild ride, with brilliantly developed characters and a feeling of a full novel not just a toe dipping novella. There are all sorts of fantasies from Daddy, step brother, BDSM etc, some of my favourites were My Bad Boy Protector, Submitting to my Billionaire Bosshole to mention a few.

Web of Evil is the second book in the Hani’s Daughter Mysteries. It continues the story of Neferet who is a healer. These cozy mystery books are full of suspense, mystery, intrigue, and an array of characters. I recommend starting these books with Flowers of Evil. There is a diverse arrangement of characters. The story does move between characters when telling the story which gives more information into what is happening in other places throughout.

This story is beautifully written and introduces young children to the cultural celebration of Chinese Lunar New Year. The different aspects and traditions are incorporated in a way that explains their significance and detail to the reader without sounding like a documentary!
The family at the centre combine the traditions with their modern lives which makes it even more relatable. A great resource for any library, classroom or family bookshelf!

They are fast paced, hard to put down and engaging to the end. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. You don’t want to miss this collection. This is a must read collection. I highly recommend this book.

This is a great book for kids ages 7 to 12. I had my 12 year old granddaughter read this to me, and just hearing her read this book about the different culture was great. She really enjoyed the book also. The illustrations were phenomenal, and the writing was great.
In this book, we learn about the Lunar New Year and two Asian American sisters going throughout this special day. It’s tradition to visit family and friends and receive red envelopes containing money and chocolates. The red envelopes are misplaced, so they retrace their steps to find them. Great story, and I absolutely love that the big sister doesn’t get mad and is very patient with the little sister. It’s such a cute little book.
Hood of Sedna by Mina Skye

There are a lot of twists and turns throughout this novel. Some sections of this story were confusing with too many point of views in some chapters. This was an easy read these has several fantasy elements in one story. The cliffhanger at the end definitely has readers wanting more. This is a good start to a series.
The Closer: An enemies to lovers dark romance by Rowan Rossler

It’s a story that keeps you saying, “just one more page.” The Closer gives you tension, drama, love, romance, loneliness, and so much more. The author sucks you in hook line and sinker. A book that’s part of a series but could very well be read as a standalone novel. And one I struggled to put down.
June needs money, and the only person who may be willing to help her out is a man she loathes. He not only accused her but ran her into the mud after one of his investments failed, so how can she trust him? But she’s desperate, and she never would’ve gone to Dallas otherwise. Unfortunately he’s also the one who got away and even after 10 years those feelings are still bubbling at the surface. One drunken/trippy night and a trip to Argentina later she really starts to wonder what she got herself into.
Dallas has a chance to make things right, however he’s not going to just bend to her demands. He wouldn’t be good at what he did otherwise. Yet one night she spoke his language when she challenged him to the best of 3 games of pool with a potential deal on the line. One problem: how is he going to fund it? He’s known to have made some shady dealings. Will this be any different? He can’t resist helping her, he’s wanted her for the last 10 years and is an idiot that he lost her. Unfortunately Navarro is standing in their way.

So much going on! So many questions come to mind. Which leads back to my previous remark of not wanting to put the book down. You don’t want to wait for the answers. I know I sure didn’t.
Family Ties Family Lies by Jacqueline Boulden

I loved this book! It was a page turner for me right from the first chapter. Rose is a journalism photographer. She gets injured on the job. At the same time, her mom falls and need Rose to go home to rural New York to care for her. While home, Rose tries to solve more than one mystery in her town and her life. I love Rose. She is so genuine. I could really relate to her having to be there for her mother. I was confused at first by Deputy Sheriff Stover’s presence in the book, but was pleasantly surprised by her character as the story unfolded. At first, I wished Rose could have found a man to be close to, but by the end of the story, I was content with the people she had in her life to love her.
Outcast by Catherine Banks

If you are looking for a read that sends you head first into a paranormal universe full of enchantment, fun characters, and intrigue, then this one’s for you.
Outcast is the first of Her Royal Harem: Ember series by Catherine Banks. It follows the story of Ember, a mage who heals wounded creatures. This simple existence is thrown askew when Ember gets an unlikely assistant in Prince Caleb and starts to have to deal with her painful past.
This book is full of enchantment, action, and danger as whimsical characters come to life. This book is definitely a page turner. I can’t wait to pick up the next book and dive back into this paranormal universe.

The Glow in Loretta’s Garden by Lois Wickstrom

I have never heard the term “armadillo bugs” before reading this book! Even adults can learn more about insects, specifically fireflies, in this informative story. Spend some time with Loretta in her garden and you’ll learn about the life cycle of what I’ve always termed “lightening bugs” or fireflies.
This is another great addition to any personal or school library. There are STEM features of this book, which is a favorite aspect I have of this author. Be sure to check out her other books as well!
