I am a lover of paranormal romance and Rowan and Alyssa’s story checked all the boxes for me! I haven’t enjoyed a series this much in a while, thank you Tam DeRudder Jackson! This book was very well written, with a Hunky male warrior and a strong female lead! The dialogue Jackson uses really helps the story come to life, I could almost hear what Rowan would sound like. The inclusion of Celtic mythology is the icing on the cake and makes Talisman a really interesting and fun read! I cannot wait to get my hands on Warrior, book 2 in this bold and sexy series! I highly recommend this book to anyone in need of a date night with a book!

Underboss’s Retaliation was even better than Boss’s Vendetta. Dominic Larussio finds himself in close quarters with Emelia. The De Rosa’s mafia princess. She is 100% a “wildcat” and entirely badass. Their banter was incredibly entertaining and Emelia’s way she never stops fighting or getting under Dominic’s skin is brilliant. While this is book 2 in The Sicilian Gods series, it can be read as a standalone.

I am absolutely blown away by this magnificent collection! It is easily the best collection I have read in the past year. The author has put in an amazing amount of detail that paints such a vivid story. Even with the thorough characters and background, this entire collection is easy to follow, and it feels more like experiencing everything IN the story instead of just being an outsider looking in. I quite enjoy sci-fi and adventure, but this feels almost like a whole new genre of its own. It is uniquely original in the greatest possible way. The author weaves a number of subjects seamlessly into these books, such as spirituality, mystery, the multiverse, suspense, sci-fi, time travel, and more. I can’t wait to see what we are in for next and will be watching closely for anything else from this author. highly recommend picking up this entire collection and getting completely absorbed into James Talisman’s world!

I thought this book was a very cute and adventurous story. I love the relationship the story describes of caspian and his grandfather. It was also silly including the illustrations and just the overall story was adorable.

My 4-year-old grandson was absolutely enamored with this tale, Things Are Shaking by Lois Wickstrom! In this escapade, Caspian’s cousin Belinda also longs for a magic wand. However, how can they come to the rescue when everything starts to tremble? Will they be able to rely on their magic wands? This narrative is delightful and stimulating. The illustrations are vibrant, bringing the narrative to life and keeping little readers hooked. We will certainly be enjoying other Caspian stories, as well as this one!

Hunter and Selma know eachother previously but now they are working together. Everyone has secrets and Selma has yet another big one she’s keeping from Hunter when she runs to Volunteer to help Save others. When an outbreak starts claiming tons of lives, Hunter and the team must try to save as many as they can. I thought the book was well written but, I’m not one who loves going back and forth between past and present. I found it hard to stay interested through the whole book but that’s on me…not the author. Have loved other books by this author and look forward to other books.

I have to say I did not read book one of this series and I am going to have to go back and do so. This story was absolutely fantastic. The beginning was so sexy and hot. And then to find each other 5 years later after not having a clue of each others names or anything about each other. Fantastic storyline with just the right amount of heat and suspense. Love that even though she was from a different state, those closest to him welcomed her with open arms and embraced their relationship. Great story and I am DEFINITELY going to be going back and reading the first book in this series. (However this story was a total stand alone, didn’t feel confused about anything or any of the characters).

This is the 2nd book in the Sicilian Gods series, another spin off series including the Larussio family. I have loved every single thing that this author has written until now and this was no different. I devoured this book and loved every second of it. Each book can technically be read as a standalone but I think you’d get more enjoyment if you read the first book before this one. As both are such brilliant books, it will be no hard ship to read both. In this book we get the story of Dominic Larussio, underboss to Salvatore from the first book. In retaliation for an incident in book 1, Dominic kidnaps Emelia De Rosa, daughter of their enemy. But what happens when sparks fly between the 2 and the chemistry is off the charts? I absolutely adored Dominic and Emelia’s story. I was totally gripped from the very beginning and this book just didn’t let me go until the very end. In fact, I’m not sure it has let me go yet. The drama, danger and intrigue really make for an extremely entertaining read. I would 100% recommend this book and any of this author’s books.

After She Became a Lady by Wareeze Woodson is a nice historical romance/drama/thriller. Laurel Collingsworth is happy to marry her love Lord Robert but he is called away to war soon after. While he’s away mysterious things start to happen and Laurel also has to deal with her sister-in-law who believes that she should take the reins of Lord Robert’s estate. I enjoyed this story. I really liked watching Laurel come into her own. She steps into her power when realizing that protecting her family will have to be her responsibility. This story is well-written and engaging and Laurel is a wonderful heroine. I highly recommend this book.

I wish I had read the previous books !!! Not because I felt lost but because it was so darn good and I fell in I’ve with each and every character !!!!
So this in the 3rd instalment and Krysta is trying to live life after their traumatic family experience , she had to take a life to save the lives of those she loved and yes it had to be done but I feel and respect her agony 🤗
Kasper has always had it bad for Krysta but he made a mess when they were younger but he’s wiser now and man he is a sight for sore eyes and at a stage I was ready to beg him to call me “Kitten” 🔥😂
All my boxes were ticked , there was tension , steam , suspense and a whole lot of tenderness and “ humanness “
I must admit I’m greedy I want more of them all but Sophia and Benji have piqued my interest
P.S. Jusg did the record , Bentley you suck ! Krysta was never meant to be put in a box and the day she said goodbye to you , was the best decision she’s ever made , well that and loving Kasper 😍
5 Stars Handle With Care (Chase Care Book 1) by R.L. Dunn
Handle with Care is the first book in the Chase Care Series. I absolutely loved Chase Security series and I’m super excited this is a spinoff of that series. I’m a huge fan of this author and her style of writing along with her creative characters that are relatable, fun and fully developed make for one heck of a story. Who doesn’t love a hunky Dr Romance I know I sure do. Hunter is head Chief Medical Officer for Chase Care and recently lost his partner and is teamed up with Dr.Selma Bryant who is a blast from the past and secretly has loved Hunter for years. When a virus claiming live in the refugee camp surfaces will Hunter and his crew save them and Dr. Bryant in time? Can these two get their HEA? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

I read the book before I realized who Tori Chase is… I was thinking about how steamy and explicit the details were and how much I liked the writing style as much as my favorite guilty pleasure author – Deborah Garland 🙂 A pleasant surprise indeed.
This book has everything if you’re looking for lots of sexy, strong characters, a good story, a little taboo, and a variety of interests. Hot hot hot. Didn’t want to put it down.

This is a spicy novella and a prequel to the series Hawke family series. Each chapter is from a different characters’ point of view. It’s definitely a heated, spicy one night stand story. We don’t learn much about the background of the main characters or where the story is headed. The ending is a cliff hanger and you’ll have to read the next book to know what happens.

where’s the movie? I was pulled right into the story. I may have related a little too much to the toxic best friend situation which made me hate Candice, but I pretty sure that’s the point. I was truly invested in the story and appreciated the ending. I think that the characters were well written and very realistic. I did give 4/5 stars because I was hoping for more, more back story, more character development. I do look forward to reading more from J.N Sheats in the near future.

Let me start off this review by saying this book is SPICYYY! Spicy, like I had to set the book down more than a few times and take a moment to breathe and cool down, holy moly.
I LOVED this book, I love the characters, I love the forced proximity, reverse harem, somewhat Cinderella feel to this book.
Stella is a doll, shamed her whole life because of her weight and body type all she wants to do is take the fashion world by storm with her all inclusive clothing line. But after a falling out with her investor, who happened to be her boyfriend, she’s desperate to find new investors before she has to give up on her dream. Stella ends up in a pretty wild predicament living at her Step brother Charles beach house in Malibu as a nanny for his daughter Gia. What she didn’t expect was to not only fall in love with his daughter but to feel a spark for Charles 2 best-friends who are staying there as well for the month.. and maybe for Charles as well.
The story has a few punches from out of no where, keeps you intrigued and guessing right when you think you know where the story is headed. There’s a decent amount of character building and backstory on each of the 4 main characters but I could definitely use another novel diving deeper into who they all are, before or even after this book.
Like I said before this book is spicy, definitely not for the faint of heart. I picked it up and read it in one day, it was wonderful. Super excited to read more from this author, she touches on some awesome relevant things going on in our world today such as current social standards, heteronormative constructs, body image, social standards.
I could probably go on and on about what made this book stand out to me as far as the writing and relevance, but I don’t want to give away too much.

It comes as a box set Who! I mean who wouldn’t love that!? Don’t have to wait till the next to find out what happens here.
These books are sci-fi, adventure and the very first one is his debut. The way he writes it you know he loved writting each word and he has a passion for it. The characters are many but varied, if that makes sense. There are tons of species, and races and worlds you can visit and is amazing with your imagination. His writing is very detailed, makes it seem you are right there with the characters. In every scene and everything.
The concept of All-That-Is is intriguing and many would say complex. I may have had to re-read a few words. That being said I look forward to seeing what James comes up with next.
Come read this book especially if you like sci-fi one of many a good book.
Book two It is an adventure where the story is multi layered and complex with a lot going on with so many characters Every word that is written keeps you wanting more. Gives you something to think about. In this book the characters are tasked with finding a treasure that is coveted and is shrouded in mystery and age-old in time.
Another good read.
The writer is really coming across with some really good sci-fi writing and this is his third boon. It has a lot of layers and its very complex and just keeps the tale going. Not just one thing going on but alot with so many characters. It makes you again seem like you are in the book and doing everything with the characters. Need to make sure you understand and don’t be afraid to re-read something to understand it. This was one of the good sci-fi books i could read.

For quite a short book this one really packs a punch. It was a great second chance romance and I loved the main characters. They had such a great chemistry even in the face of a complicated past. It felt like the story really supported them and their journey. Although this is the third book in the series it can be read as a standalone. However, I would definitely recommend reading them all just because of how good they are. This book is intriguing, fast paced and exciting. I really did enjoy every second of it and cannot wait to read the next one.
A new to me author, her writing style definitely impressed me! Writing a great historical fiction novel is hard to do, but she achieved it in this cute story about Rhia and The Prince of Wales. Rhia is a fiercely independent 16-year-old who is put into an arranged marriage with the Prince, and both have ulterior motives into entering the courtship. It takes awhile for the two of them to warm up to each other, but eventually Rhia realizes something. She has to choose between her village and the man she promised not to but eventually fell in love with. What will she choose?

This was such a good read – I really enjoyed it. I loved Marley and Max! Even though their first encounter was only the one night there did seem to be this instant and genuine connection between them. I loved the added suspense in the story this was great and definitely kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next in Marley and Max’s story. The author had a wonderful and engaging writing style that certainly kept my attention throughout. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I am certainly excited to read more from her in the future!

Yet again another wonderful read from this author! I loved Hunter and Selma! They were such wonderful characters to read about, there was just something about this book that made you want to keep reading long in to the night! It definitely had that can’t put down feel about because you just want to find out what is going to happen on the next page. The way in which the author writes she really does draw you into the story and the characters’ lives that in parts it felt a little bit like reality. I will admit this book is longer than your average read but it is so worth it in my opinion! Beautifully written with wonderful characters – a must read!!

I loved the emotional pull between Finn and Abi. They were so guarded with one another while trying to navigate their rolls both in the show and in their personal lives. I could almost feel the emotional rollercoaster between them. I devoured this book in one setting!

This book is the second in the series and I did not read the first book and felt like I could keep up and follow along just fine. However, after reading this book I am definitely going to read the first book. The character development in this book is spot on for you would want in an erotic romance story line. There is plenty of steam to keep y0u turning the pages, making this a very easy quick read for anyone who loves this trope of books. There is emotions here that make you feel close to each character and you love seeing the growth that they go through while dealing with these issues. I felt myself getting caught up in the story line and not really paying attention to what was actually going on around me in my house. So my only disclaimer for this book, is to make sure you have time to finish this once you start or have someone who can make you food and bring you drinks cause you will not want to put it down. Side note, I even got angry at my family when the characters were going through things. So, you will feel the emotions from the book and they will be projected to the people you are around.

When Caspian shows his cousin Belinda how his invisible magic wand controls time, she wants one too. Grandpa just happens to have a spare one which he gives to Belinda and just as she starts learning how to use it the house starts shaking. An earthquake is causing books to fall from the shelves, furniture to fall over, and the clock to fall off the wall. Caspian, Belinda, and Grandpa must find a way to get themselves to safety.
This is a cute book for kids to learn about what happens during an earthquake and a bit about earthquake safety. The invisible magic wand allowing Caspian and Belinda to control time is a cute touch. The beautiful illustrations throughout the book really pull the story together and bring it to life.

After reading book 2 and 1 back to back, there is a lot of times Elinor shows humor in her investigation. Elinor wants to seek the truth in the murder of her father but the Duke always gets in the way of her case.
My kids love Nash mystery novels ever since I bought the 2nd book for them.
I’m between a 3-3.5 star for this book. This book began really good and then somewhere along the way, it lost me. It was enjoyable read, I was just waiting to feel more from the characters, especially with this being such a deep and dynamic foursome. Overall, I was entertained for an afternoon.
