In the second book of the Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries, Elinor has not been very busy since the first book. But that doesn’t diminish the story at all but actually enhances it by adding a new ghost, we learn a bit more about Elinor and her friends/acquaintances, and of course more about her search. I couldn’t stop reading and finished it within a day and a half.

This is the first book in the Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries. The author writes wonderfully and gets you hooked on learning about Madame Elinor Chalamet who has been studying to become a medium. She has a personal reason to study this, to find out who killed her father. While on this quest, she is helping the police whenever she can.
Although this book is a novella, it keeps your attention with suspense, romance, and a strong woman character in Elinor. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the rest of the books in the series.

It is what I would describe as a Cozy Paranormal. Even with this book being cozy paranormal for me, it also included that bit of a mystery with Elinor Chalamet trying to discover the mystery of a widow and her long-since-deceased husband. I also quite enjoyed the banter and budding romance between Elinor and the Duke. Something that made me like this book almost instantly was the main character herself; Elinor. Elinor is who sees these ghosts, and I was immediately drawn to her wit and independent nature. I also enjoyed the relationship between her and Dr. Charlotte. They are two peas-in-a-pod with how Elinor is a Medium, and Charlotte is Mortician. The prose are nicely done as well, had awesome dialogue, and is not a intense read. I was able to finish this in two days. What would you do if your true passion was also something that cause those you love distress? Would you fight for what you love? Couldn’t you also fight for what’s right? Even at the risk of everything you love and have ever cared about? I really enjoyed the complex nature of this short fantasy about a lady’s resolve to do right by her family and the freedom that comes with this kind of genre. I feel like the author covered a lot of ground in this book and loved the fae aspect!

This is a whimsical wartime romance. A whirlwind engagement is quickly followed by the briefest of honeymoons. Our heroine is left with her (perhaps understandably) less-than-understanding in-laws. What gal can’t relate to that? As new family members become acquainted, hijinks and machinations ensue. Waiting for news of a mutual loved one brings about all sorts of tension. Overall, a great read!

This is the first book by this author, and I DEVOURED it. It’s been snowing like crazy where I live, so what better time to pick up a steamy romance. It is a little lengthy, but the author is such a phenomenal writer and she sucks you in with every turn of the page.
I fell in love with Finn on page one. This man, yall. This man. Holy smokes. I love a good slow burn, but this one made me want to just throw some logs on the fire! It’s so perfect. Just watching the characters battle against each other and deny how they feel- chef’s kiss.
I’m in love with this book. Absolutely in love with it. I implore all of you romance readers to read it. Both books in the series can be read as a stand alone book, which is how I’m reading this one. Get yourself a copy, a cozy blanket, and some tea to curl up with because this book will not disappoint!!!

I have NEVER read a historical romance book before. I truly fell in love with this book. I love that the author left out all the unnecessary details that isn’t needed in a story. This book was about redemption and love. The characters was well thought out. This was a great page turner book that will have you sitting on the edge wanting to know what happens next.

I absolutely loved this book. The character sucked me in and I truly wanted to keep reading. Kasper was very relatable, I think everyone made mistakes when they were young because they were scared. Those mistakes that we wish we could take back. I also loved Krystal. I think that their interactions were amazing. Kasper’s feelings when he sees Krystal be taken were absolutely palpable. I have to say this was a true page turner. I definitely recommend this one!
The is a short prequel which seems to prepare us for the later series by introducing the main character Jessa and allows us to get to know her as the story progresses. We come to know her secrets and fears and her past and leaves us speculating what will happen next. Jessa’s compassion and concerns make her a relatable character and her relationships with those around her feel real to me. I thought the world created was well-written and the combination of the more unique fae elements with the better known and ‘real’ world was captivating. I enjoyed the period setting and how the pressures of societal norms incorporated the fantasy (fae) side of things. It was clear to me that this prequel only dipped its toe into the waters of the world building and character development, and I am keen to read more about Jessa and the challenges she faces. I look forward to reading the rest of this series and can see it becoming a favourite of mine if this book is anything to go on!

Night Hawke is a prequel to the Hawke Family Second Generation series. I have not read any of the others and it didn’t seem to matter. The author did a really good job of giving you just enough information to draw you in and keep you wanting more. The book was a little steamy for my liking. While I want to say that I won’t read anymore, that’s probably a lie. I’m pretty drawn in and want to know who these characters really are. So I will likely skim over those particular scenes, so I can continue the story. Both characters use fake names and very little detail is given about their lives. It is hinted at them both coming from pretty important families, and I want to know more about “Jack.” In reading the description of the next book, it makes me want to know that much more!

This is the 2nd book in the King of Screen series but the first one I have read. Besides wanting to hit Finn over the head through half the book, I loved it! I really enjoyed this fantasy mystery read! I loved the main character Jessa and reading from her point of view. She unknowingly gets swept up into a mystery unsure if she will be able to even help her Aunt Caris. As Jessa tries to learn more about her aunts friend and the mill she gets closer to unchartered territory. She has to be careful with how she proceeds as secrets are uncovered. Jessa will choose what to share and what to keep hidden if she is to be of any help at all. I am definitely looking forward to the next book to dig deeper into Jessa’s world!

So Jessa represses these whispers and ignores them as if they aren’t there… That is until her Aunt has to travel to a border town near the Fae to deal with an old friend and Jessa will have to confront these lingering whispers head on in order to save a town and friends she comes to care a great deal about while traveling with her Aunt. Is she willing to expose what she can hear and that she may be “fae touched” in order to save others or can she find a way to save others and herself? This was a fun read Jessa is a quick thinking puzzle enthusiast. The book is also written with dialog reflecting a different time period which really captured my attention. Definitely worth a download!

Really good storyline. This is the first time for me reading something from this author. The main character is very interesting and relatable. The story started a little slow for my taste but it definitely picks up and gets pretty good. Definitely excited to immerse myself in this world again. This book is worth a read.

I didn’t realise going into this book it was a short book so was a little disappointed initially. However, that soon dissipated when I started reading. The author has managed to pack so much into this book that it really didn’t feel like anything was missing. If was an interesting storyline. I loved discovering all about this world. The characters fit well with the story b the author was trying to tell. The were easy to connect with and I wanted to find see where their journeys would take them. This is a great book that I thoroughly enjoyed and vin am looking forward to the next book.

I enjoyed reading this paranormal romance story. This is a new author for me which I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. I found this book to be well written and just of steamy romance. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and hard to put down. A story where that has twists and turns that you won’t see coming. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their story with ease. The author used details to make the story realistic, I had no problems picturing myself in the story. I also enjoyed how relatable the characters are and how much they added to the story. They have great growth as well as chemistry throughout the story. This is the first book of the series and what a great start it is. I enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

This is the first book in the Book Of Fae series. It was a really entertaining story and a great start to the series. I love how the author wrote the story in the same way that the people of that era would talk and how the customs and peoples perceptions of magic and things they don’t understand is portrayed along with historical references. This story has it all from danger and intrigue, to mystery and magic there is something for everyone. Jessa is a young woman who is trying her hardest to fit into the accepted role of Lady in her society. However she is far from a normal Lady. She has a secret and it is one she needs to keep locked away unless she wants to end up in an institution. When she joins her aunt on a journey to help a friend in need she gets more than she was expecting. There are secrets to uncover, a mystery to solve and someone out to cause harm to her aunt and the town she has come to care for. Can she discover this person’s identity before its too late? Can she keep her own secret intact to protect herself? And what happens when secrets she didn’t know existed start to reveal themselves.
I enjoyed this story and I can’t wait to see where the series will go next.

This was my first ready by Morgan Bevan but I will be reading more for sure! This story is told by each of their POVs, which helped to give the full picture. Finn and Abi come from very different backgrounds. They find each other on reality tv and are married on the first meeting. I love that this story starts with marriage and then we watch them work through their differences.
Highly recommend giving this a read if you like rom cons.

Troy Cullen grew up in an abusive house, his family is beyond dysfunctional. When Veronica tells Troy she is pregnant, everything begins to spiral. Troy uses chatrooms to flirt with other women. All is not as it seems with what happens next.
Intriguing idea. The story is fast paced and you are pulled in with what is happening. Ending is not what I expected which is a nice twist to the story.

A gripping medical romance suspense story which had me hooked from page one. If Hunter and Selma survive the virus they might find their happily ever after together. This is a gripping story full of drama, tragedy, suspense and of course romance. The setting is brought vividly to life by the descriptive narrative and the characters are likeable and relatable. The chemistry between Selma and Hunter sizzle off the page, and I liked how their relationship developed throughout the storyline. An emotional rollercoaster of a read, but one which I definitely recommend.

This is an enjoyable and engaging novella, in which Jessa Caldwell is a gently-bred herbalist, who is trying to be a lady whilst concealing her true nature. My Pearl Heart by J.N. Sheats. This is such a good romance. Its the story of Jasmine who is the co owner of a planning company along with her best friend. James Conner is the son of the family of one of Jasmine’s events and when they share a hot kiss is confused. James Conner’s family is the closest thing to royalty that we have so when their son ends up being a drunken loser it hits hard. James has decided he is going to clean up his act and get married. With a plan in place Jasmine is blindsided when James announces his engagement to her best friend. Jasmine has to be around James constantly during the wedding planning and she doesn’t know how much more she can take. James thought this plan was well put together until he realizes he can’t get Jasmine out of his mind. Will they go thru with the wedding or will James and Jasmine get their happy ending?

Elinor Chalamet and Tristan Fontaine, the Duke de Archambeaux return, but this time, they are both guests of the King at the Winter Revels, a culinary competition to find the best chef, Elinor is happy to know that a friend of hers is one of the chefs competing, so when she receives an invite, she is ecstatic, so she takes her friend along with her for company. While traveling, she encounters a young lady in need of aid, so she does what she does best and helps a person in distress, even though as usual, it puts her at odds with people and ruffles some feathers all at the same time.
When she arrives at the charming town of Vouvant, she can see how the Winter Revels are welcomed by the establishments where they sell their wares to the tourists and holiday maker with abandon, but she runs into the same young lady and comes to the rescue again, however, the outcome is more positive for her, than the last one. After the first welcome meal and the opportunity to meet the chefs and sample some of the upcoming victuals, she runs into the Duke de Archambeaux, as well as spotting someone she may need to help during her time there, a grieving widow and her son, so tired and satisfied, she goes to bed, however, she is woken in the middle of the night by the Duke in need of her and her friends help, much to their chagrin.
It turns out that there had been an assassination attempt on the King and that her help is needed to find the individual responsible, however, when the finger is pointed at her friend, the chef, she is determined to uncover the culprit and show that her friend is innocent of the crime. Will Elinor be able to solve the crime while also helping out the young lady and the widow all at the same time, or will it all become too overwhelming for her to cope with? This is another fast paced mystery where spirits and food combine with delicious, yet dangerous consequences, all while romance slowly kindles between Elinor and the Duke.
The main character, Jessa, is an herbalist who lost her mom when she was young. When her aunt goes on a trip, Jessa tags along to sketch the countryside. The characters are loveable, and the story is well written. I enjoyed reading how Jessa found herself in the process of solving the mystery. Chilson combined mystery and fantasy and fae extremely well. It left me anxious for more!

Married Blind (King of Screen Book 2) by Morgana Bevan. This is such a fun read. Its the story of Finn and Abi who marry on their first date for a tv show. They both have their own reasons for doing it and neither of them are for love. Abi decides to sign up for a tv show to marry a unknown celebrity so that she will win a large amount of money, she thinks she can do anything for 3 months. Finn needs to clean up his image of trouble and scandals so he thinks why not get married for 3 months and then he will be on his way. What Abi or Finn didn’t count on were feelings getting involved. While on air they are charming and likable but inside they are both fighting their feelings. Will they give in to the feelings and live happily ever after. Read this fun romance to find out!
