A Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott, Christmas Kiss Book 2
5-stars
Sweet and romantic, this Christmas story took me as the reader to another country with different Christmas traditions. I thought it hilarious how the lemons were tied into breast cancer awareness at the start of the novel giving the main character Mel and Lucas an inside joke for the story. I was not sure how Domingo fit into the story at first, but later on the author reveals a surprise. This novel was such a wonderful and easy read. I could not put it down and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss is the fourth book in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott. It is one of my favourites of the Christmas Kiss Series and it’s a lovely, sweet holiday romance- with wonderfully endearing characters, a charming story, a dose of miscommunication, a dash of drama, which results in a winning recipe for a delightful romance story. Ms. Abbott has such a wonderfully descriptive, well-rounded and inviting style to her writing. Her stories always draw me in and have me hanging on every word. Her books are so easy to read and always leave me with a feeling of satisfaction and warm-heartedness- and this story was no different.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss, Book 4 in the Christmas Kiss Series by Allyson R Abbott 4 out of 5 stars
This series is truly the sweetest of the sweet. I know I have said it before, but it does bear repeating that Christmas romance stories make for some of the best romance novels ever. There is just something about all the warm and fuzzies you get that is all wrapped up with the holiday feels. Top that with a hot man and and beautiful woman and you have the perfect, cozy afternoon read. This book is that book. This series is that series. I have loved this series from book one and this author has given each book its own warm and fuzzies. This book was probably my most favorite of all of them, only because I love coffee as much as I love reading. Kat and Dan are some of my two most favorite characters to date. Their interactions are light and fun, even with the little mishap that seems to bring everything to a screeching halt.
Do yourself a favor. Read this book. Read this series.

A great read about coffee. Kat has loved coffee since she was little. When she leaves home for a new job, she is nervous at first. Whilst finding her feet in a new town, Kat discovers an antique coffee shop full of new blends and flavours that consume her heart. Her love for the shop increases with Dan, an owner who is handsome and kind. The coffee sparks something romantic between them But when she overhears a private conversation, should she risk her heart? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldnt put down. Well developed characters like Dan making his passion into his business or Kat standing up for herself but kind underneath. great cast of supporting characters like her Dad as a sweet father figure of Spencer as a good friend. i loved the visual detail of the coffee shop as something traditional and homely with the fireplace and cat. also with the sofas as a comforting space to Kat and the reader. ci also loved the sense of a small community within the shop with everyone knowing eachother and the regulars as good friends was a lovely touch. the passion for coffee with Kat was a lovely touch for a sense of exploration and wonder that was enjoyable to read . And the detail including the smells and tastes of flavours that even captivated the reader was perfectly written. I also loved the mystery with Brian that added comedy to the novel to make it a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is the fourth book in her Christmas Kiss series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although the whole series is a fun and entertaining series that is well worth a read. As with the others this book is a great easy read that you can easily lose yourself in for a few hours. It is fun and lighthearted but still had you engaging with the characters, Kat and Dan. I really liked Kats character. I found her down to earth and relatable. This whole series has been great to read, enjoyable, entertaining and amusing. I would definitely recommend reading this series.

A Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is the second book in her Christmas Kiss series and what a great follow up this one was! Continuing with the sweet holiday themes this story will show you that Murphy’s law is in full effect for her characters. Following the story of Melanie, she will pull you in from page one and keep you intrigued until the end. From the moment her mother cons her into watching her aunt’s house everything imagine just falls apart in Mel’s life. When she ends up lost and vulnerable will the help of a sexy Spanish stranger be a good thing or another wrong turn? While there is a serious language barrier there is also something more as well. The language between their bodies keeps drawing them toward each other no matter the obstacles. When things look to be heading up for Mel and her mysterious stranger, what will become of them when she gets to her final stop? Will Mel’s fly by the seat of your pants attitude keep him close or will he run like everyone else? Abbott is a new to me author, only having found her with this series, but man am I happy that I picked this one up. If you are looking for a great book that can be read as a solo from its series as well as one that will warm your heart and tingle your cheeks than this is the one for you. I can’t wait to see where this series goes from here!

I have really been enjoying the Christmas Kiss series from Allyson R. Abbott this holiday season. A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third book in the series however these novels can be read as standalones. Following suit with the small town and wholesome sweet romance themes we find a small town girl, Billie, as she rediscovers love once again through the Christmas season. This was such a fun reprieve from the chaos that seems to wrap one up in the in the holiday season. I do believe that there is one more sweet book to enjoy in the series that I can’t wait to enjoy before the holiday season is up. Thanks for another great reprieve Ms. Abbott!

What a fun Christmas story! Poor Mel is in Spain on an urgent trip at her mothers request. She doesnt speak the language at all and if she didn’t have bad luck she would have no luck at all. I really enjoyed this story and the emotions it brought with it. Goes to show anything can happen, and What is meant to be will be.

A Tangy Christmas Kiss is Allyson R. Abbott’s second book in her holiday Christmas Kiss Series. I really enjoyed the fun little read to break up the building bustle that is my holiday season. I found myself laughing out loud several times, something we all could use a time or two when the season gets to be stressful. Grab you favorite hot drink and curl up for the evening with Melanie, she will for sure make you feel as if you couldn’t possibly be having that bad of a holiday season. Melanie, or Mel, just can’t catch a break. What starts out as a favor for her mother to help out her sick aunt turns into a royal nightmare. And then there is the sexy man that she can’t understand. For the juicy details you will have to swoop this read up for yourself!

A Frothy Christmas Kiss (Christmas Kiss Book 4) by Allyson R. Abbott
5 Stars
I have now read all of the Christmas Kiss books and I already can not wait to read them all again, just like everything else this author writes they are all in a class of their own. I loved this one as much as I loved the rest. I’m trying to think of a way to describe this story. It was like nothing else I’ve ever read, I’m thinking it was kind of awesome how she plotted out this romance that almost wasn’t between Dan and Kat and how the total lack of communication caused so much wasted time between these two.
Then there is Brian….Probably my favorite character in the whole book LOL
I love everything and anything this author writes I’ve about run out of words to explain how much, she is an absolute favorite of mine and since I never know what I might get when I open one of her books it makes me look forward to every one of them.
I highly recommend this whole series, full of Christmas Spirit and clean romance.

I give A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott, 5 stars.
Kat’s best friend since childhood wanted to take things further than what she was ready for. She just can’t see things that way and he can’t seem to take no for an answer. So she decided to move away and start over. Now she is alone here, without even a best friend to confide in. When she comes across a coffee shop tucked in beside a bookstore, she is ecstatic. She loves all things coffee and she can’t believe her luck. This place is just perfect! And the man behind the counter is to die for too. But he’s spoken for, isn’t he? So why does it seem like he’s flirting with her. And what about her ex? Will she find happiness?
Ok, this book centers around coffee and a cat. Right there I’m sold! But really, it is such a fun book. Kat is great, the coffee shop cat is wonderful (I so want to see more of him!), and the rest of the characters are just as good. The story is entertaining and amusing. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to those who like fun, Christmas romance stories that are just long enough to read in one setting.

Each book can be read as a standalone without any confusion but trust me you’ll want to read them all. This story is about Kat and Dan, I absolutely loved their story and the characters are so relatable and easy to connect with. It’s a short story but that doesn’t hinder it any any way. It’s still well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. I love these stories that put the holiday spirit in your heart. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it.

A Tangy Christmas Kiss, by Allyson R. Abbott, is the second book in the Christmas Kiss series. This story features an overseas trip, a language barrier, and crazy antics that ensue. The story was fun to read with charming characters. The characters gave this story a lighthearted feel, along with some craziness – which always tends to come with family. This is one of those stories that are a guilty reading pleasure when you need your time away. It had just the right amount of humor to be entertaining. A great holiday read.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss By: Allyson R. Abbott 5 out of 5 stars
The story A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is an amazing holiday romance that I loved reading. One of the reasons is a lot of it takes place in a coffee shop. I love coffee and this story had me making a pot to drink while I read. I loved reading about the characters of Kat and Dan. Kat has found a wonderful new coffee shop. She has also met the handsome owner of the shop as well. The first time that Kat and Dan meet they are attracted to each other and there is flirting. She feels a connection and pull towards him. Then she learns that he has to hurry home to babysit. Even as she deals with the confusion of the situation, she finds herself taking Dan up on his offer to work at the shop. Kat says she will just be friends with Dan. As Christmas approaches, she finds herself struggling with her romantic feelings for Dan, an old boyfriend that has shown up unexpectedly, and the wishes of her father. What will this Christmas season bring for Kat? Will Kat find love and a happy ending or will her holiday be spent alone? Read this story to find out. I really enjoyed reading about the additional characters that play a part in the story and their interactions with Dan and Kat. There are some moments that had me smiling and laughing as well as ones that warmed my heart. Once I started, I found that I wasn’t able to put the story down until I had read the last page. I just had to know how it all works out. This is a book that I would highly recommend reading.

Allyson Abbott has written another great addition to the Christmas Kiss Series with A Frothy Christmas Kiss. These stories can all be read as a stand alone and they are all unique in their own way. This is Kat’s story and she meets Dan in a hilarious and embarrassing way that sets a great pace for the whole story. I have to admit Brian was my favorite part of this story, I loved him. Then there’s Spencer and Kat’s dad and well a lot of other characters who make this story as good and funny as it is.
A Frothy Christmas Kiss is another great book in the Christmas Kiss Series. The story is a heartwarming story in more ways than one. This is the story about Kat and Dan. Kat is new to the city, so she is looking for her favorite thing, coffee. She finds a great place. But even better, the owner is hot and sexy. Hmmm, what will she do about it?
Another great Christmas story by Allyson Abbott. It is a sweet story filled with descriptive details. And a perfect story for the Christmas holiday. A Frothy Christmas Kiss will put a smile on your face and make you feel happy. I definitely recommend this story and the series as well.

The fourth book in the Christmas Kiss series, this stand-alone (short) story has all of the elements I have come to love in this author’s stories. There is a meet-cute, some flirty banter, an ex, a misunderstanding, and a satisfying ending.
As with all of the books in this series, it is a clean romance which is a breath of fresh air. The characters are developed and story is well plotted.
Please read this story because I want to talk about the cat. I think Brian aka DC aka Bagpuss should get his own stand-alone about his life and adventures. He sure is the “cat’s meow”.
I absolutely recommend this story, this series and this author to all.

This is a very quick and sweet Christmas story. I’m not sure what it is about Christmas’ books I love so much, especially during this time of year…but I can’t get enough !! Mel got talked into going to Spain to help her aunt who is having surgery. Once the trip is planned… from day one, things don’t go according to plan. After many days of traveling, she finally arrives. But it’s not how she remembers, a lot has changed. And now she has to take care of her aunt as well. Will she be able to to it ? I enjoyed Mel’s character, she is a lot stronger and more capable than she knows. I know it’s hard going to a unknown place with complete strangers. But she makes the best of the situation. It’s such a fun read, I can’t wait to see what’s next in the third book!!

This collection covers a wide variety of romance and hunks that should lend themselves to most romance readers. I found the collection as a whole to be well written and widely grouped. Specifically, the two stories that I will review in greater detail from this collection Heart of a Hunk are: Foxxy Christmas By: Allyson R. Abbott and A Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon By: Tamera Ferguson.
Foxxy Christmas By: Allyson R. Abbott 5 out of 5 stars
I loved this story. Abbott is a newer author to me but one that is steadily climbing my must read list. This story takes place around the Christmas season. The characters are wonderfully written and I felt they had great chemistry. I found the whole story to be very well written.
A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon By: Tamara Ferguson 5 out of 5 stars
This sweet romance story just hit all of the right notes for me. Ferguson hands down is another must read author for me. This story is not an exception. The main characters are relatable and charming. Their relationship is honest and authentic. Just a beautifully written holiday charmer that resonated in my heart. Loved it.

This book is all about the Christmas spirit! A Prickly Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is the first book in the Christmas Kiss series. Emma or as her friend Carla calls her ELF due to her initials goes to a small town called Polerton, which oddly resembles the North Pole. She was supposed to go with Carla but Carla couldn’t make it. When she gets there she meets Mr. & Mrs. C, who seems to be just like Mr. & Mrs. Clause. When she finally gets to the cabin she learns quickly that living up in the woods isn’t as easy as it looks. Then there comes Sue. Sue is what ELF named this stray cat that found her. Sue is curiously smart and always knows what ELF needs. Sue’s name in the end was actually Santa’s Little Helper! For a few days ELF and Sue get into all kinds of mischief when she meets the local veterinarian/part-time police officer Rudi. Coincidentally, Rudi has a bright red nose when she meets him. Rudi is instantly attracted to ELF. This story is so cute that I couldn’t put this book down. Now, this book is definitely a romantic type of book rather than an erotic one due to the lack of sexy scenes. But I think that if the story were to have any sex scenes it would ruin it. I love it just as it is. I also love when animals are added to the storyline and especially when they have a comedic role just as Sue did. I truly enjoyed this book a lot and I cannot wait to read the next in the series!

ABBOTT – REVIEW BY MELISSA AGENA
A Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott Four Stars
A Tangy Christmas Kiss is the second book in the Christmas Kiss Series by Allyson R. Abbott. This book can definitely be read as a standalone. This is a very fun, laugh out loud holiday story. It had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. Mel is going to Spain to help her aunt at her mother’s request. What she thought would be a vacation at the beach, turns into a whole lot more. This story proves if something can go wrong, it will. From the beginning thing went from bad to worse. Delayed layovers, bad news, language barrier are just a few of the difficulties that Mel encounters. When she reaches her destination, she realizes she is way over her head. If you are looking for a super sweet, heartwarming holiday book, this is a perfect book to choose. Allyson R. Abbott is one of my favorite go to authors, especially when I’m looking for a good laugh. Her books always pick me up and I love how she jumps around in her genres. I highly recommend this book and author.

#1 International Bestselling and Award-Winning Author (fiction and non-fiction) A Blooming Boomer who loves life on the road, making new friends and meeting great people. Life in the slow lane! After a few full-on years of travelling, which included a year and a half checking out New Zealand, a few Pacific islands, Australia and South Africa, 15 months driving around the USA in a motor home, some quick few weeks visit to Canada, Mexico, Cuba and Spain, Allyson and her husband have now decided to pull over onto the hard shoulder for a while and have settled on the Valencian Province in Spain. Life is rich, according to Allyson, but the pocket is empty and she needed time to focus on her writing. It is very easy to get distracted when you see so many beautiful places. The last twelve months have seen three new nonfiction books; all to help authors write, publish and promote their books, thirteen short sexy reads penned as Cyra May and three new Christmas stories all to be published in 2018 Of course being locked in a room and chained to a desk, did not help top up her sun tan, but at least Allyson was very productive.

A Pink Christmas Kiss is a cute romance novel by Allyson R. Abbott. It is book 3 in her Sweet Holiday/Christmas Romance series, and one of my favorites. It drew me right in and kept me hooked until the end. I was rooting for a happily ever after, and was not disappointed. The characters were very real and relate able and I loved seeing both sides of their disagreements. Billie and Leroy were high school sweethearts, that ended abruptly when Billie moved away to New York City, expecting Leroy to follow. Leroy stayed home, expecting Billie to come back home to him. The lack of communication built walls and feelings of disappointment and hurt. When Billie returns home 5 years later to take over her dad’s business, she is hoping to rekindle the relationship. But, is it too late?

Abbott – Review by Elizabeth Sanchez
A Prickly Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is a five star novel. This is the first novel in the Christmas Kiss series. I am excited to continue reading this series. The puns in this book are awesome. I love how every character and place had its’ name for a reason and are all holiday themed. Emma Louise Fallon is the main character and goes by the name of Elf. She cannot believe her friend has bailed on her for their Christmas time apart from family drama. Her new man is no longer because of his lying and cheating ways. She needs this time with her girlfriend to regenerate her love for life otherwise she just might explode. But when she finds herself in this secluded cabin, alone, she isn’t sure if she is going to survive. Then a man shows up and tries to be her Prince Charming. Will she allow him into her life or will she continue to push everyone away?
