By Allyson R. Abbott

This book is a sweet , romantic Christmas story that you won’t want to miss. The cat (Brian) (Bagpuss) (Damned cat) is one smart animal. The author did an awesome job making me feel like I was in the coffee shop with them experiencing the smells and tastes with her attention to detail. There are great characters in this story that make it that much more interesting. Let’s not forget all the flirting and chemistry between Dan and Kat. I really enjoyed reading this story with some unexpected twists. I recommend this book, it is a fun, sweet read with a hint of mystery.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is a five star novel. Even though this is the fourth book in the series, it is a standalone. The series only is a series because they are short, happy Christmas stories. This series has been a lot of fun to read and really helped to put me in the Christmas spirit. When the season starts, not all of us are ready, not all of us are happy for it to be here and not all of us enjoy the season as much as others. When trials happen in our lives, it is sometimes difficult to put that on the back burner and still be able to find the joy of Christmas. I feel this series tries to show that in a tangible way. When Kay moves away from home, she finds herself lonely and without her best friend. She finds a hole in the wall coffee shop and quickly finds her place there but because of a misunderstanding is having a difficult time being content. As the book progresses, we find out more about each of the characters and helps to bring them all together. Brian’s story was my favorite part of the whole book!

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson Abbott. This is the 3rd book in this series but I do believe its become my favorite. Its the story of Billie who has left her small hometown to pursue her dreams in the big city of New York. The one thing breaking her heart is that her boyfriend Leroy doesn’t follow. After 5 years Billie has to return home to help her family and she runs in to Leroy. Will she be able to trust him again or will she lose him forever. Maybe all they need is some Christmas magic to make it work out. This book can be read as a standalone but I’ve read them all and love them all. Very quick sweet read!

This is a wonderful, sweet Christmasy romantic story. This was a great story to read with characters that are relatable and fun to get to know. I really enjoyed getting to know Billie and her loyalty to her family. I couldn’t help myself, I had to keep rooting for her and Leroy to work out their communication problem and get their happily ever after. Billie is a strong character and Leroy is such a sweet and caring man. This book gave me all the feel good emotions I love in a good Christmas story. This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone but my suggestion is to read them all because they are awesome!! I recommend this book, and this author as a whole because she wonderful storyteller.

This story had me laughing from the beginning. Kat was so unpredictable. She was random and unfiltered. I really liked the chemistry between her and Dan. I was glad there wasn’t any back and forth between the three people. Dan and Spencer can be friends. I really enjoy this authors books. The only thing that had me checking out was the cat . I didn’t understand his part in the book. But I saw it as a fuller to give the story more pages. Overall a fun read.

There is just something so magical about Christmas time. Not just the thought of gifts but people seem to be more caring and joyful. These Christmas stories have kept my heart light. Time goes home in a time of need for her family. When she is there Leroy is still there. They didn’t separate on the best of terms. I like Leroy. I also felt bad for him. Life handed them both decisions and Leroy handled the best. This was a sweet light story that you can enjoy on any night.

A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third Christmas story in Allyson R. Abbott’s Christmas Kiss series. It is a beautiful Christmas romance of second chances that takes place in a small town in the middle of nowhere! You can for sure read it as a standalone.
A Pink Christmas Kiss is the story of Billie who left for the big city lights five years earlier and is now back in her small hometown as her dad was no longer able to continue running his auto shop, and of Leroy who never followed Billie even though that is what she had hoped/assumed/wished for. Leroy was her first love and the guys in NYC never managed to fill the hole he had left in Billie’s heart.
When these two meet again, the connection is still there … it feels as nothing has changed … they do have a rough start though as Billie always seems to be saying something wrong but it is a Christmas story and their love is so strong and … I am sure you can guess the rest! The writer though takes us on this beautiful journey of two people realizing that they are each other ‘the one’ and no matter what happens … Pick up a copy and make yourself a cup of hot chocolate and read away!

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R Abbott is the third book in the series and is full of Christmas cheer.

This lovely tale of Christmas, family secrets and romance is a great holiday read, with this short novella. I love the way Allyson’s characters are real and well development. Billie’s character is brilliant and well written, she made a decision a long time ago and ruined a great relationship with the love of her life. She was heart broken when he did not follow her but when she moves back to her home town and ruins into said ex boyfriend the sparks fly.

Will Billie be able to forgive him and rekindle the love they gave up years ago, you will have to read and find out.

This is a story of second chances and can be read as a stand alone story. If you enjoy a well written, detailed story I recommend not just this book but all of the stories from this wonderful author.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss is the fourth book in the Christmas Kiss Series by Allyson R. Abbott. This like the rest of the stories in the series is a sweet Christmas romance. This short story had me hooked on the very first page and I read the whole bookin one sitting. I love the witty dialog and the fast paced storyline. Brian, the cat, had a hilariously funny roll that brought the whole story together. Kat and Dan have such chemistry, but a lack of communication leaves them confused and dancing around each other. This sweet story left me with a happy feeling, and I highly recommend this story and the whole series.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Pink Christmas Kiss is book three in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott. This story was another titillating tale that will both delight and entertain. A fantastic holiday read.

Billie was a character that I did not connect with. I found her a little selfish and immature. She did not or could not think of others until it was too late. She was a mixed up woman in need of a stern talking to to realise not everything can go her way, and that it is ok if it doesn’t. Leroy I connected with instantly and always felt that there was more to him than met the eye. He was a deep and complex character, but just wanted a simple life with the one he loved. He was a family man and would do anything for them. Billie did redeem herself in my eyes, and I got the whole melting heart feeling at the end.

A Pink Christmas Kiss was eloquently and emotionally fascinating. High quality writing mixed with a cast of intriguing and realistic characters made for exciting and fulfilling reading. 4 stars.

“A Tangy Christmas Kiss” is the second novella in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott, but these are stand alones so they do not need to be read in any particular order that I’ve seen so far. This lovely story follows Mel, whose mother called last minute to get Mel to Spain to help her aunt after a surgery. Mel’s trip shows her the kindness of strangers and learning to accept help when it is offered as she figures out she isn’t as independent as she thought. The great lessons, wonderful characters and scenery all make this story perfect for Christmas! As an animal lover, the smaller theme of animals that seems to crop up in both books is a great added touch! These easy to read stories make for a nice afternoon in on a cold winter day! So, I give “A Tangy Christmas Kiss” four stars!

This short and sweet novella follows Elf (Emma’s perfect nickname) and her Christmas adventure at a cabin in the woods outside of North Polerton. Elf was so happy to be spending Christmas with her friend Carla’s family cabin, until her perfect plans all fell apart. What happens is so much more than she was expecting and everything she needed. This story has all the magic of Christmas and all the fun as well! The setting, characters and perfect time of year help make this book a wonderful little read. This is a sweet romance story, dealing with language barriers. A great story for the young adults and anybody who would enjoy a good clean romance.

When two strangers come to meet and neither one understands the other. Mel helps out her mother on request. She has flown to Spain, to house sit for her aunt Rose. Mel has no clue what she is about to walk into. Once in Spain, nothing is as she remembers. Not only that but she must learn to communicate, and to understand a foreign language. Challenges are in place and now she must adapt. Or lose the gorgeous young man who is there to help her.

Allyson Abbott has opened up a whole new world for me. Learning to adapt in a foreign country. Who knew? Not me! Having never left the USA. This story really opened my eyes. I absolutely fell in love with Mel and Lucas, their struggles were real. Their love was even better. Well done Allyson R. Abbott! Looking forward to reading the rest in this series.

A pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is my favorite in the series so far. This was a sweet book about a second chance romance. Billie and Leroy were the perfect couple. She decided to move to NY for better opportunities. She thought Leroy would follow her or at least fight for me but none of that happened. Here she is 5 years later and suffering from being homesick. She would love to go back to Nevada but, doesn’t want to seem like a failure. Luckily she gets a phone all from her dad telling her he needs to give up the auto repair shop due to his failing health. Billie spent a lot of time in the shop growing up. This was a perfect reason to go home.

She ends up working in the repair shop and the. Finds an old beat up deuce in a back corner buried under other stuff. The deuce is her dream car. The person dropped off the car and said money is no object, but they wanted it fixed up and there was no rush. Billie spent all her free time rebuilding it and making it beautiful. When she finds out the car is for her, she must return it to the rightful owner.

Billie runs into Leroy shortly after coming home. They both never stopped loving each other but they are both hurt. Leroy is hurt that she left him and Billie is hurt that Leroy never fought for her. Leroy had his reasons and they were really good ones. Would Billie still have left is she knew what was holding him back? Leroy didn’t want Billie to know what he was dealing with because he thought she would stay by his side and then resent him.

Every time Leroy and Billie seem to run into each other things go horribly wrong. Will they be able to reconcile and forget the past heartbreak they both felt?

Throw all the old feelings in with a five year separation and a pink deuce.

This book had me hooked from the first chapter. I loved the characters and thought the book was well written

By Allyson R. Abbott

You just can’t go wrong with a good Christmas romance story, and Allyson just rocks it with each Christmas romance she writes, and A Frothy Christmas Kiss is no different. This whole series just seems to be getting better as it advances. What can be better when you find that shop that makes a coffee that is so perfect and then you meet the person who runs it and he just rock your world? That’s where Kat is at when she stops by the coffee shop that Dan runs. A little Christmas flirting doesn’t hurt either! There are some misunderstandings between Kat and Dan brought on by the lack of chatter between themselves. Just like Allyson’s other books this one is also so well written. There is nothing you aren’t going to like about this story. So, what are you waiting for? Go get this book and enjoy reading about Kat and Dan.

Definitely a Christmas series not to miss! A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third book in the Christmas Kiss Series by Allyson R. Abbott. This book follows Billie and Leroy. Billie, a small town girl, moves to the big city to pursue her career aspirations in marketing. Billie left her high school sweetheart, Leroy behind. Billie wasn’t doing so hot with her job and her life wasn’t as she imagined it would be. Then she got word that her dad isn’t doing so well physically and decided that she needed to move back home to help out in the family business. That family business just so happens to be the only mechanic garage in the town. Billie grew up in the business and learned everything from her dad. So Billie’s new aspiration in life was to run the garage so her dad could take a step back. But what about Leroy? Billie also has a surprise waiting for her in the garage when she gets back too and it turns out to be from Leroy. Leroy finds out she is in town and it turns out that he is still angry at her. But of course, you know this is a HEA! This was a really cute book that I could not put down! I loved the characters and the interactions between them all. This is definitely a page turner! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I love this author!

My Rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is a sweet light hearted read, that shows how one misunderstanding, and lack of communication can derail an otherwise pretty straightforward situation.

The fourth book in the Christmas Kiss series we follow a new set of MC’s, and their journey towards that cheesy Christmas love we’ve all come to know and love. I will say that as much as I did enjoy this read, it was a little slow moving at the start, and that misunderstanding lasted way longer than it needed to. If i was in that situation I would have asked, right away what Dan situation was. I wasn’t digging the whole childhood best friend thing and his inability to take no for a answer. There are some just bridges not worth saving, just let it burn to the ground.

Outside of that, this story matches the rest and has the same detailed and polished writing from the other books. The characters were pretty okay, a little too dreamed up on the looks department, but otherwise they had pretty solid personalities and in the long run felt real to me. I love the steady progress between Kat and Dan, even if I wanted to slap both of them more then once. Believe me when you read this… and you will..you are going to want to slap them as well.

Overall this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. It’s a light hearted, super cheesy read that will get all those good feels and, warms fuzzies turning.

Happy Reading

What waits her is a huge surprise and once the town gossip gets spilled she has more questions.

This is a not your normal start. Usually the female owns the coffee shop…this time it’s male lead. Dan owns a coffee shop. Kat is a coffee fanatic. Match made in heaven right? Not so fast. There is major miscommunication and some jealousy along with some flirtation. This all leads to an entertaining story.

The story seems to drag a bit in some areas (too much thinking) in others it seemed to be over to soon. I am not a huge fan of internalizing their thoughts. I prefer more dialogue…it seems more lively. I was intrigued by this guy being a coffee mixer. What an interesting job!
This is a nice sweet short story.

A Pink Christmas by Allyson R. Abbott is the third book in her Christmas kiss series and I am so happy that I picked this one up. This holiday romance hooked me from the beginning and kept me enthralled until passed the last page. Following the story of Billie and Leroy, we see Billie leaving her small hometown five years ago. Wanting to spread her wings and experience life, Billie was willing to leave everything behind to make sure that she gets to live her life to the fullest. While she loved Leroy, she needed to see the world, and if Leroy loved her as much as she loved him, he would follow her….right? When Billie comes back home and seeing Leroy again with no contact for so long still enrages her. When Billie and Leroy come face to face again how will she handle him? Will Billie be able to admit that she couldn’t move past her young love or will she have to break her own heart again and walk away? Can Leroy find a way to forgive Billie for running away? Do they have strong enough feelings to make a relationship work? Abbott is a newer to me author, having only found her works with this series but I am so glad I picked it up! I recommend reading this series in order, even though each story can be read as a standalone, getting to see Abbott’s evolution of writing. If you are looking for a great series, let along author, then this is one that you need to pick up today!

A little twist for the holidays. When Mel finds herself in a country where she doesn’t know the language who would’ve guessed that love would be in the air. I guess that’s one language everyone knows even when they don’t speak the same language. I liked that the author brought another culture into play and used the language instead of just having the characters speak English. The story was good even though it was not believable.
