Vampire State by Alexander Charalambides – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Vampire StateVampire State by Alexander Charalambides
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I thought it was a good one to start with. It was interesting from beginning to end and it was well written. This story is about Rowena and the choices she has to make in her life. Big decisions will have to be made and she will have to make them fast.
So many twists and turns in this one, I was on the edge of my seat at times and I liked that. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this Book to anyone that likes vampire reads!

Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia #1)Sugar & Spice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was a great weekend read!
From the very first page i was drawn in and i couldn’t get enough.
The main characters are what made this book great!
Jolie is a single mom who works extremely hard to take care of her family. One of her jobs is at a very sugary amusement park called Sweetopia. She dresses as the Red Velvet Queen and quickly catches the attention of Cy who works in the Cotton Candy Castle Bakery. Cy has been sent in undercover to work for his family’s company and is quickly distracted by the beautiful Red Velvet Queen. Will Jolie be upset when she finds out the lies Cy has told to go undercover at the company? Or will her own secrets come out in the open and be the reason they don’t work out?
Over all i really liked this story. I thought the going undercover trope was a great one. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future and i would recommend this to anyone looking for a very sweet read!

Toxic Blonde (A Johnny Delarosa Thriller Book 2) by David Stever – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Toxic Blonde: A Johnny Delarosa Thriller (The Delarosa Series Book 2)Toxic Blonde: A Johnny Delarosa Thriller by David Stever
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Toxic Blond is the second book in the series and PI Delarosa is back at it again. This story is full of all the good stuff… mystery, suspense and lots and lots of action. Delarosa picks up a case he thinks will be simple open and shut case, but that is so far from the truth. Two people he knows are caught up in the middle and it keeps getting messier and messier. Will he be able to solve this case before anyone gets seriously hurt?
The characters in this book are great. The author put a lot of detail in his characters and story I felt like I was solving the case right along with Delarosa. I would like to read more by this author and I would recommend this to anyone that likes a good mystery.

Such an interesting book and a great Debut for this author!
I enjoyed this book throughout its entirety and the author’s writing style was great. There was so much detail that I felt like I was experiencing the story with the main characters. Speaking of Charcters, they all were fantastic. I’m having a hard time picking a favorite because they’re all great and have their own awesomeness about them. This is a SciFi book that takes us to different worlds, and the author has a handy Dandy guide at the beginning of the book that helps with the who’s who. A book full of suspenseful awesomeness, I enjoyed traveling through space time and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future. Demon is the son of the former president of the MC and he made a promise that he ends up not carrying out. This ends up bringing huge consequences his way and he isn’t sure how to handle the situation. Violet is an awesome single mother that is on the run. This was a suspenseful thriller that I immediately loved and couldn’t get enough of. I was pulled in from the very first page and I was kept on the edge of suspense throughout whole novel. So many twists and turns!! The main characters in this book are Lincoln and Mina. I thought they were great and I thought they were very likeable and relatable. There is a lot of attraction going on between these two but when a body is found the little trust they had gets thinner and thinner. I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.

The brothers have an evil father and they must band together to bring the evil bastard down. This book was such an amazing start to a new series and i absolutely loved it. The writing was great and the author had a way of grabbing my attention and keeping it throughout the entirety of the book. This book is about Jayden and Paladin. They are two fantastic characters that went so well together and you just couldn’t help but root for them from the very beginning. The two meet when the Satan’s Devil MC rescues Jayden and she couldn’t help but fall for Paladin rather quickly. They move to a different MC compound in Colorado and life is rocky. Pulled in every direction, its seems like everyone is against them but will their love thrive or parish in beautiful Colorado?

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This series just keeps getting better and better! I finished it in one setting because i was so excited to read this story. We picked up exactly where we left off in book one, so reading these books in order is a MUST. We get to see more of Claire and we do add a couple more guys to her harem! Claire is a likable character, and she grows a lot during this book making her that much better. She get more in sync with her powers and tries to embrace her fae side even if that is something very foreign to her. We see more of the men in this book and we get quite a few chapters in their POVs and i loved that! We were able to see things from their sides and we learned some crucial information that way. This book was a lot HOTTER than book one and that for me was a huge bonus. I am looking forward to reading book three and i would love to read more by these authors. I would recommend this series to anyone that likes RH books!

This book was a great one. It is the second book I have read by Natalina Reis and I am interested in reading more by her. This is the final installment to the trilogy and I have to say that you should most definitely read book one and two before tackling this one. There is so much information that is needed before reading this book that i think it would make the reading experience way better than reading this one as a standalone. Our main characters are great in this one and they made this story a great one. This story was a roller coaster of emotions and I was on the edge of my seat rooting for the MC’s! I would recommend this series to anyone that enjoys fantasy books!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This series just keeps getting better and better. I devoured this book and i was sucked into all of the awesomeness. There is twists and turns, I laughed and I cried throughout all of it…. i couldn’t put it down.
I was excited to get Cutter’s Story! He appeared in the first book and i knew i had to get my hands on his story and figure him out. He is such a great character and i was interested to see were his story would go. He meets Valentina and the chemistry between them is off the charts. They are each others equal but they have to find common ground and learn to get along or the chemistry between them will fizzle out and the love hate relationship they have will just turn into hatred.
This story is a must read and i would recommend it to a friend.

This is the first book that i have read by these authors and i loved it. It is an Reverse Harem Romance which means by the end of the series the MC will end up with more than one man. I love RH so i knew as soon as i saw this, i needed to read it. And i was not disappointed! I finished this book in one setting because i couldn’t put it down. The main characters are fantastic and i was excited to see where their stories were headed. This book does have multiple POVs and that gave us more info on the men in this book and i loved that!
This story is about Claire whose world gets turned upside down when she discovers she is a halfling…. Meaning she is half Fae and half human. She had no idea there was this hidden part of her and she has to get her powers under control if she wants to keep the people around her and herself safe. She is put into a fae academy where she will hopefully learn how to control her ever growing powers.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I enjoyed it. This story kept me interested throughout the whole of the book and I was intrigued to see where the story was headed. Cindy is the main character and she pulled me right into her story of learning all about her grandmother and the questions she has about the life her grandmother lived. She’s determined to figure out about the lady she never knew and finding those answer are becoming harder to reach as she finds more and more of her things.
This story is a good one. I like that there is a transition between past and present and you never confuse the two because of how good the writing is. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.

This box set is awesome! It has it all… romance, suspense, mystery and of course chocolate! All the things needed to make this an interesting read and a it’s a good one to waste away the day away with. Just don’t read these books on an empty stomach because the food and sweets discussed in this book sound down right sinful and I would love to try them all!
The characters in these books are another thing I should mention. They were fantastic. Even with the magic elements incorporated in them, they were relatable and they were extremely well liked. I couldn’t wait to see where their stories were going and I was sad when the end finally came around. Wow! This book was fantastic! This is the third book in The Torzial Affair series and it is also the conclusion to the series. This book was a great way to end the series and I’m sad to see it go but it made an amazing and lasting impression. This book has it all… suspense, romance, danger and mystery! I love the main characters Brian and Jenny. Brian’s love was so strong for Jenny, he would do anything for her and he definitely showed that in this book. Jenny has had a hard life and the secrets she knows only make it harder. With the mob out to get her will Jenny be able to survive or will she get caught in the cross hairs?
