My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was great! I couldn’t put it down! From the very first page I was sucked in and I couldn’t get enough! The journey that Brian and Jenny took me on was a crazy heartbreaking one but it was fantastic. The love between the two was huge but that isn’t always enough. I cannot wait to read the next one in the series and I look forward to read more by this author. I would recommend to a friend!

I am really glad I picked this book up. I haven’t read any other books by these authors but that is going to change. This book kept me interested from page one and I love that it was a RH. This book is a fantasy romance that includes some Egyptian Mythology and that was something I haven’t read about before. The main characters are what made this book a good one. I loved the sassy and sarcastic-ness of them and I couldn’t wait to see what was happening next in their lives. I am looking forward to reading the next books in this series and I would recommend it to a friend.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Edge of the Storm is the second book in the Silent series by Lisette Kristensen. This authors writing skills were creative and i was drawn in by the attention to details. The characters were very like-able and Sloane aka Blackbird is wicked and i kinda have a little but of a girl crush. There really is no other way of describing her that would do her justice. She is awesome. There were so many twists and turns in this book i was kept on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding, wondering what was gonna happen next. Terrorist threats and nonstop action kept this book on my toes. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend this to a friend!

Death and the Crone: Book Three of the Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Death and the Crone: Book Three of the Lucky Devil SeriesDeath and the Crone: Book Three of the Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the third book in the Lucky Devil Series and i highly recommend reading the two previous books because some of the same characters carry over into this book and it just makes the reading experience better. This story was well written as all of her others are and it was refreshing to read something that was a little out of the norm for the books that are currently out. Margaret is our main character who is honestly just sick of life and believes that her life isn’t worth anything anymore. When a mysteriously handsome man picks her up on the street and takes her back to his luxurious apartment, Margaret has finally come to terms that this might be the end for her. But the stranger isn’t what he seems and he has a secret that will changer her life forever. We will just have to see if the change for the better or are things headed down an even more crazy path than before?

Wild Bastard: A Dark Sparrow Novel by India Kells – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Wild BastardWild Bastard by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wild Bastard is the third installment in the Dark Sparrow series and can be read as a stand-alone although characters from the previous book are featured in this book. With that said in my opinion for the best reading experience i would read the two previous books first.
This story is all about second chances and with the history that Kai and Izzy have, there is alot going on in their lives. They work so well together but the amount of secrets weigh heavily on their shoulders and that can slowly drive people apart.
This book had a little bit of everything. There is suspense, romance, action, danger and a whole lot of drama. It an extremely well written story that i lost myself in from the moment i picked it up. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend it to a friend.

The Queen of Witches is the second book in the Wheel of Crown Series and i liked it even more than i liked the first one. I couldn’t put this one down and before i knew it i was all the way through it. There was a lot of things happening in this book and i am happy to be just reading about the crazy things they’re dealing with instead of actually being there. I enjoyed the characters in this book so much and we got to see a few characters that were in the previous book and i enjoyed that a lot. Perfectly Played by Holly Kerr – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Perfectly PlayedPerfectly Played by Holly Kerr
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book that i have read by this author and it will not be my last. The author has a great writing style and i enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Flora is our man character and i adored her. She has horrid taste in men though. She is fixing to marry a man who she has been with for the last 8 years and he is a terrible person. He nitpicks everything she does and puts her down any chance he gets. Fiona finally decides she has had enough and runs away from him and their never-to-be wedding. That is when she runs into Dean. He was just stood up by his own bride and has gone through the ringer too. These two go through a roller coaster of feelings, both for the things they’re going through and for each other. Will they end up together or are they destined to move on and see other people who haven’t been so close to saying I DO?
I enjoyed this book a lot and i cannot wait to read more by this author. I would recommend this to a friend!

Blinded by Betrayal with Spin Drift is the first book that I have read by this author and I am pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this book. It is a Mafia type book and that alone had me intrigued.
The main character is named Sloane and she just so happens to be the daughter of a Mafia Boss. She has lived a life of privilege but soon learns that life can change in the blink of an eye and she will have difficult times ahead of her.
I enjoyed this book and I liked that I was pulled in from the very first page. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this to a friend!

She isn’t sure what to expect out of the situation but it sure isn’t the two brothers she is quickly developing feeings for! Who will she choose?

Rafferty (Default Distraction #2) by A.S. Roberts – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Rafferty (Default Distraction #2)Rafferty by A.S. Roberts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rafferty is the second book in the Default Distraction series and is a contemporary romance. I loved this one just as much as i loved the first one. It can be read as a standalone but falling for these guys is inevitable and i highly recommend reading Brody as well. The characters in this story are Lauren and Rafferty. Lauren is a successful business owner and Rafferty is a member of the rock band Default Distraction. These two have a past and sadly it isn’t a good one. They still have so much chemistry between them but is that enough for Lauren to take a chance on a relationship? or is the heartbreak from the past still too painful that there isn’t any hope for the future?
These guys were one of those couples that i couldn’t help but love and root for from the very beginning and i was excited to see where the author was headed with their story. I didn’t want to put it down. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend this to a friend!

Pandora's Price (Hart & Cole Book 3)Pandora’s Price by Sacha T. Y. Fortuné
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the third book in the Hart & Cole Series and honestly I think this author can do no wrong. With every book I read by her I end up having a new favorite. The main characters in the book are Darren and Luisa. They are married but that doesn’t mean they have all the happiness and easyness that every marry should couple have. Oh no no no…. There is betrayal, resentment, distrust but there is also love. They have a lot of work to do if they want to work things out.
The secondary characters are Fantastic and It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t at least mention them and how awesome they are.
I was pulled into this story from page one and I didn’t want it to end. I highly recommend reading this series in order!! I cannot wait to read more by this author and I would recommend this to a friend.

This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed how different it was. Micheal is a candidate for president but his rating aren’t where they need to be, so they find him a girlfriend named Kendall.(I love her!) They find themselves in a tough situation and end up engaged. Even though this is just a “job” the chemistry is off the carts between those two and lines are blurred between Job and reality will they be able to keep everything professional?
I really liked this book and I am looking forward to reading more by this author. I would recommend to a friend.

Wolf is book 3 in the Fairy Tale Series but it is my first book by this author and I am happy to say I enjoyed it. The main characters are Carson and Maggie. They’ve both had a rough couple of years and are just trying to heal the wounds that were left behind. Will they be able to help each other or will they make the wounds deeper? These two characters were awesome. They both love fiercely and that always makes for a better MCs.
