Wow….where to start with this review. I was pulled in right from the beginning. I will warn that there are scenes that may cause triggers for some. My heart went out to Tillie. The first scene we come into is heartbreaking, what Tillie is put through is so devastating, especially when some involved are people who should be protecting you. When she turns 18 she flees the MC to try and get away and start over. She is given an address to go to for help.
This is where her second nightmare starts. She gets some shocking news on top of running into a similar situation she had just left. But she is feeling things slightly different than she did with the MC. Will she be able to get away and finally find a safe place? Or will the boys pull her into their world?
Overall this was a great dark reverse harem read with so many twists and turns that your head will be spinning. I felt like we actually got two different stories in one. We also have several hot dominating men that will have your head spinning. You want to hate them but yet you can feel the attraction between them and there is a heck of a cliff hanger that will leave you wanting more now. This is my first read from this author and I loved her writing. It’s hard to find a really good dark book and this one had everything I love about them. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. This book is going on my must read 2021 list. 1-click and get started today.

Four Stars
I love a good book about friendship. I story that brings unlikely friends together. This story was a short and fun read. The author gave us what we needed to enjoy this book. The characters were interesting. I enjoyed how quirky Sadie is. She gives me loving vibes. When her past comes beck to haunt her she is hesitant to tell her soul sisters. What she failed to remember is that family takes care of family no matter the problem. Then there is Mitchell. He is so protective. He really tries to save everyone. That need to keep others from harm shows that he feels like there was someone that needed him that he could help. I loved the bonds and dynamics between all the characters. The haunted house part was wild and fun to see the spin the author took with it. Overall a good read.

A to E…5 guys who are best friends each trying to get a new start in life. Each book follows one of the guys as they try to win the woman who is “the one”. Things would probably go smoother if they didn’t make bets about it? I love that the women in these novellas are curvy and intelligent. Each story in a delicious, hot bite that will leave you satisfied. If you are looking for hot, fun reads, this box set is for you!

In Plain Sight by Ashely Quinn is book 3 in the Broken bow series. I absolutely love this Romance- suspense series and the characters in it. I loved reading about Rayna and Thomas I really enjoyed following them through there journey together. There is something about Rayna that I could just relate to. The way Ashley Quinn writes keeps you reading, Once I got stared I was not able to put the book down. What I liked most about this series was I was not able to predict what was going to happen next. I look forward to reading more books by Ashley Quinn and thanks for another great read.

In Plain Sight (The Broken Bow Book 3) By Ashley A. Quinn
Another great book in an already great series. This is the third book in this series and can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading them in order for a better experience and back story on some of the characters. This story had me on the edge of my seat and also brought me to tears, happy and sad ones. All the emotions I was feeling during this read is what makes this such a great story along with wonderful characters. There are twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I enjoyed watching Rayna, Thomas, and Mason grow in their relationships with each other. You definitely don’t want to miss out on what this book has to offer. I was engaged and entertained throughout the entire book. I highly recommend this book.

To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles Book 1) by Tricia Copeland
This book is everything I needed without knowing it :Adventure, danger, romance, mystery, suspense, and magic. Add in the kick ass characters and fun plot line and you’ve got yourself a great read!
I love a good fantasy novel but it’s easy to get lost and confused in a world someone else made up; but this book covered all the bases so that didn’t happen. She was very descriptive and clear and even provided maps! It’s very evident Tricia put a lot of time and thought into her character development and boy did it pay off. I’m hesitant to read a book with a young main character that may be too angsty/coming of age because I’m currently living with one and I don’t need to think about two! Luckily, Tricia delivered the perfect protagonist and gave her a great plot to work with.
Without wanting to give too much away my only constructive feedback is that sometimes I felt some scenes were a bit vague. Now this could also be because she is setting things in motion that will all come together in the next book. This reader can’t wait to find out!

Savage is the tenth book in the Ash Park series. It really helps to get the full impact of this story if you read the previous books. This book is intense and I couldn’t put it down. I felt so bad for Petrosky; he’s been through so much and now he’s got to face down the past in a harsh way. Intrigue, suspense, danger – it’s definitely a dark thriller that will keep you turning the pages.

In Over Her Head Lights, Camera, Anxiety The Cecily Taylor Series Book 2 By Krystal Lindsay Hager ☆☆☆☆☆ This is the perfect YA story. It is a full length novel that is set for those young women in high school. Set for those 12 and older, with a nice storyline.
Cecily believes she has it all. Great friends, a modeling job and is dating her favorite musician. Even though for now it must remain a secret, she is happy until? Until everything around her changes. Her best friend is ghosting her. Everything between the girls is great until Lila’s boyfriend calls. Then she puts up a cold feeling that makes Cecily feel like she does not exist. What is happening between Cecily and her friends? Will secrets be shared?
Krysten Lindsay Hager knows her teen world well. This is every young girl’s fairytale. The highs and lows that every teen experiences. The emotions in this story will be thrown and you will feel this too. I love the characters; they are every young girl’s friends. So much in this story is set for the young teens it attracts and feels like home. I will recommend this story to the teens out there who need to read this. Well done Krysten Lindsay Hager! Well Done. Spiteful Punks: dolls and douchebags part one by Madeline Fay
Trigger Warning for this book. This is the first book I’ve read by Fay, but it won’t be my last. Fay has a dark romantic mindset and it shows.
Tillie is escaping one horrible life for another. When she runs from the Demon Jokers she is given an address. What she doesn’t know is the address is her mother’s. The quote I chose for Tillie is: “Give me more, I can take it. I want it.”
Logan is Mob Boss’s son and gets what he wants. His friends are equally as dangerous. When he meets Tillie his life is going to be turned upside down. The quote I chose for Logan is: “I wouldn’t get too comfortable, baby girl, people around here end up disappearing without a trace. I’ll be watching and I will find out why you’re really here.”

I actually enjoyed this one a lot more than I did the first. I found this book more emotionally in depth even though the subject material itself was still tough at times. The story was well thought out and I enjoyed the pacing of the story. It was interesting to get to know the secondary characters more in this story and I also found myself warming to Quinn, the main female protagonist too. It was interesting to go along her journey with her as she figured out how to get closure for what has happened to her in the past. I actually found the love story aspect of the story more likable in this next part of the trilogy and am looking forward to the final part.

In Over Her Head: Lights, Camera, Anxiety was a read I was not totally expecting. It was really nice to read about the main characters be open (for the most part) about their anxieties about anything and everything. Cecily has anxiety that is present throughout this story, she is also very strong. It was weird reading about someone else’s anxiety, it made mine come out while reading this sometimes. It was a story about regular teen issues and a bit of drama, but in a way that anyone could read and enjoy it. I loved reading more about these characters and seeing where their journeys are heading.

I loved this series. There are five books, and each is about 100 pages each. They are so fun and exciting to read! This box set is made up of the five of the most adorable, distinct, and badass love stories you will read. So read them all. Trust me. You won’t regret it! The characters are well developed, relatable, and make the stories worth reading.
BOOK #1: A HOLE “A-Hole” is about Ace, the new found comedian, and Ella, the fresh new bank teller, who struggle through present courtship. The friendship between Ace and his friends and Ella and her friends delve into the similarities and differences between men and women when running in packs. Will love be found? Or will reputations ruin everything? I recommend this book to anybody who loves smiling and witty banter. A book just isn’t a romance novel without it.
BOOK #2: THE BIG O I never thought Chemistry would be such a large part in a romance novel, but I stand corrected. This story is adorable, romantic, and exciting all at the same time. These characters are not only cute, but also extremely smart. If you like corny chemistry jokes, this is the book for you!
BOOK #3: NEED THE D This book moves fast, so be ready. “Need the D” focuses on Dante, the third of the five men. Dante is in advertising and is quite the player. But this is the story of his rise to responsibility in many different ways. Read this book! It’s hot, emotional, and stressful all in one. It is adulthood.
BOOK #4: HARD F Fox’s story was above all, the craziest. His bet was the craziest! If you only want to read one book, read this one! It has socioeconomic themes, the main character matures and grows a significant amount as a person, and there is a strong female heroine! How can this story get any better?!
BOOK #5: RIDE THE C This was the perfect book to sum up the box set. I loved it! It’s a love story you’ve never heard before. Cruz is a male model who has just started dealing with the real model issue of aging. He goes through an emotional maturing process, love is created, and personas are shattered. “Ride the C” was my favorite book of the whole series! But it means so much more attached to the end of the other four stories.

Alpha Bet Guys series follows five friends after they reunite and start over in these five novellas. A-Hole follows Ace, comedian, and Ella, bank teller, in their steamy romance that gets interesting when the Alpha Bet Guys add in a bet. The Big O is between Ozzy and Hazel, two nerdy characters who have some serious chemistry. Need the D features Dante and Julia in a story where the age gap is reversed and Julia wants a baby. Hard F is Fox and Jenna’s novella in an opposites-attract billionaire romance. Ride the C follows Cruz and Mia where the characters are two aging models. Every story is full of steamy romances, witty dialogue, and some pretty interesting bets. From one book to the next, I couldn’t stop reading until I’d completed the set, now I can’t wait to read more material from Phoebe Alexander.

This is a well developed story that has characters that not only give the story life but also gave it a realistic feel. This is a newer author for me and I look forward to reading more of this type of book in the future. I truly enjoyed how this story developed and guessing at what would happen next. The Alpha Bet Guys Boxed Set is a collection of 5 novellas from one of my favourite writers, Phoebe Alexander. Before reading the whole boxed set, I had previously read A Hole, the first story in this boxed set but I read it again to get the full flow of all 5 stories. This is a collection of stories about 5 friends who have moved back to Philadelphia and live together in 2 adjacent penthouses. The five guys are Ace, Ozzy, Dante, Fox and Cruz and each guys gets his own story. The common theme among them, is in that each book the guys place a bet relating to the love life of the hero of that book. I really loved this set of books. The guys are all lovable in their own ways but what I really love is the message that Phoebe Alexander gets across in these book, as with many of her books and that is the body positive image. The women that these guys date and form relationships with are not skinny glamazons. They are everyday women who carry a few extra pound and have curves. As a woman who has more than a few curves I love reading Phoebe Alexander’s work. It’s not only the tall, thin stunning blondes who fall in love with the good guys. This message is put across more so in the final book where we get the story of aging model Cruz, where he and his aging lady model friend rebel against the airbrushed perfect look everyone is trying to achieve. Like all Phoebe Alexander books, you get some amazing ‘sexy times’ in these books. She sure knows how to write a hot love scene!!

Titiana is the only daughter of the Fae King Oberon of Aubren. She has experienced loss. Her four brothers were killed three years ago. Three years ago was the last time she heard her mother’s voice. Titiana feels alone in her world. Her only refuge is the quiet time spent with her father and mother after the evening meal and her caretaker, Alfreda.
The peace of Aubren is threatened when the crystal anchors of the Faerie Ring start disappearing in the middle of the night. Titiana is placed under watch with a soldier named Foster. Titiana desires to help her kingdom, but the King urges her to stay away from matters of the state. Does Titiana follow her father’s orders? Will the young fae princess of fifteen discover her true destiny? Will the princess find true love?
The author’s use of imagery in this story places you in Aubren and on the sidelines of this fantastical mystical story. From beginning to end, you will be engrossed in the tale of magic, first love, and destiny.

I have enjoyed other books by this author in the past and this did not disappoint. I really like the characters have lived life and are not just starting out in adulthood. I appreciate this more as I get older. There is an opposite attract storyline which leads to some good banter between the characters. I enjoyed reading this and look forward to more from this author in the future.

I always love getting stuck into a good fantasy book. Faeries are always great characters to base the story around. Titania was never meant to be Queen but when her brothers die, she is the only living heir left to the Fae King. Titania is anything but ready to rule, but she musters up the courage to do what is right, but who can she trust??? she does not know. There is so much happening in this book suspense, lies, deceit, magic and adventures.

In Plain Sight by Ashley A Quinn a fantastic four-star read. This is number three in the Broken Bow series, but you don’t need to have read them all previously I have only read number two and didn’t feel lost, as each one focuses on a different couple its easy to keep up with it all. This story is so much more than it first appears, you have the second chance romance between Rayna and Thomas, and they have some supreme chemistry. There is also an underlying drama and suspense that will snag you and keep you hooked, with a darkness that just edges into the story.

It was nice reading this, it takes me back to being a teenager and remembering first love and all of the complications that go with it. It also makes me so glad I am not a teenager any more as I couldn’t deal with the hassle of social media mixed in with hormones and drama.

This is a great steamy collection of stories by an author I have read before and love. I continue to be impressed with the books and how creative and different each story is.
This boxset is the Books 1-5 of The Alpha Bet Guys. Each of the guys is friends who have grown together and now are close friends. Just like brothers. Each book follows each guy and their journey to find love. Each of the couple are unique and their stories are so different. Each story is full of laughter and steamy romance and always leave you with a feeling of will they or won’t they.
You can’t help falling in love with the Alpha Bet Guys and following their stories from beginning to end.

Vengeance is so, so sweet. This is the second book of The Journals Trilogy. And it definitely lived up to my expectations.
Nya Simpson does an AMAZING job with the narration .
Quinn is getting ready to meet up with her sisters and her twins. Stone has his team in place who are ready to finish this and keep Quinn and her family save. Quinn’s sister reveals a huge secret that she’s been keeping. Will this reveal why Raven stayed in contact with the man who destroyed their families lives? Will this tear the sisters apart or help them stick together? This again is not for the faint hearted. But if you can stomach a bit of torturing the bad guys this is a must read. I love that the book has no cliffhangers. But now its got me excited about the next book. What does D.M. Earl have in store for us in the next installment!

This is another exceptional book in this series. While it handle a tough subject the author did it with grace and blended it into the story nicely. I enjoyed getting back to the Archers group and seeing how things would work out between Rayna and Thomas. They had some excitement, danger and a wonderful stranger to help them along and to re-open their hearts.
I loved getting to see how the families work together on a problem. Plus catch up with Tara and Jace. That Tara is a handful. Rayna and Thomas have a second or third chance here. Each have grown and matured but the advice of someone gives them the nudge they need
Overall this is a captivating story. I struggled to put it down and am already wondering if there will be another.

While I was shocked and filled with sorrow over this story I struggled at times. Too much depth into Petrosky’s psyche..over and over. If you have read any of these books you will know he feels guilt. I got tired of his self flaggulation over everything. Maybe it’s a cops remorse I don’t know. With that being said I still enjoyed this look into the past. Those were my favorite books. When Petrosky was just a grumpy drunk who still had fire and Morrison just a kid. Now Petrosky seems to have just become barely living and swimming in self doubt and guilt. Hopefully after this book he will become a little lighter.
Overall this is a good one. Brought tears to my eyes and an ache to my heart. It kinda put closure on the past. I’m hoping his future is brighter.
