This is a beautifully written story made for children. I read the story to my 6 year old son and he really enjoyed it as well. It’s a story of friendship and about facing things that scare you . With his friends joining him for company he’s looking for the cause of his fear and facing it head on. What they find is a new friend with a disability. It was beautiful how the author managed to get the point across that even though the dog with the disability looked different and that could be seen as scary in reality they were just like us.
The author writes it in a way that is easy to understand and follow by all ages and the rhyming makes the read enjoyable and easy for younger children.

I love how relatable I can see myself in Lark (the main character) but the sensational journey their love sends us down in this book will leave your heart racing but in a good way. I love the way this author returns both characters back into one another’s life with their history: The fact they’re reunited with another couple’s union is powerful in its own right. A love story within another one is great reading, to me, the sucker for romance. The chemistry within their body language described in the story speaks to exactly what draws me into these characters. Their bodies speak more than they actually do to draw them near. I have been pulling for them to rekindle and also for them to give one another a second chance. This story goes in depth on connecting these two. Pick up your copy and enjoy this read!

This story flowed along so nicely I didn’t even realize I was getting to the end of the story. I loved meeting these two and watching them reconnect. They made me laugh and smile at their antics. Then when Hunter upped the ante and decided to start swooning her…I couldn’t stop reading.
The secondary characters are a treat! I enjoyed her sisters then there was Hunter’s BFF, who happens to be the groom. Their little heart to heart talk made my day!
Overall this is a wonderful story that really kept my interest. There is stress and good times as well as a few surprises. This is a first time author for me and I will be keeping my eye our for more from her.

I absolutely LOVED this book. Three siblings, Charlotte (Charlie), Jade & Dane; all work in highly demanding, public service occupations. Charlie, the main character, is a trauma nurse that is highly fulfilled in her job, but not in her love life. After a broken engagement, she moves back home to reconnect with her high school crush & brother’s best friend, Tank. Obstacles persist and trials develop. Can they overcome the past and connect as adults in a meaningful way?? The characters are deep and rich with integrity. An easy read that will keep you engaged until the very last page! Will they be able to crush the plans and save the world as we know it? you will have to find out.
This is the second book in this series and does not disappoint, this books picks straight from the first book and looks at trying to stop the plans which are due to take place. Each earth student needs to go to their different realms to try and help to save the multi realities. Can they stop the plans and be successful in their journeys, you will have to read to find out.
This story is full of thrilling and twists and will have you drawn in from the first words on the page. I would recommend reading the first book as there is a lot information which if you are coming into fresh into this book may have you a tough time following but stay with them as it is a brilliant ride in your imagination.
This is not my usual genre to read but the author has built a world of pure imagination and what ifs that has you engaged from the beginning, I have to say as in the first book there is a lot of information to digest but this only enhances the story and the characters within the story.
Can’t wait to read more.

Sweet little cat-themed mystery This was a super-cute cozy mystery based in a cat cafe. Absolutely adored the cats especially Templeton. There were moments where I felt the story lost momentum due to getting caught up on the descriptions of the cafe and cat accessories but these were few and far between. The characters all had their amusing moments. A quirky, fun read with a dash of romance that will keep you entertained until the end.

Stripped (The Stripped Series Book 1) by Stacy-Deanne is a romantic suspense story. It is full of intrigue, murder, and mayhem. I had trouble fully connecting to some of the characters. Being a spin off series I really should have started with the original series Bruised first. It would have rounded the characters out more and would have given me a better in sight to them. Some things were a little predictable but overall, it was an interesting and enjoyable read.

Hieronymus had a rather idyllic childhood, growing up in the woods of West Virginia. This book picks up where book 1 left off. I usually don’t say this very often, but book 2 was better than the first one! Getting to understand our main characters and see more of their backstories gives them more depth. I had so much fun seeing James’s version of Atlantis, and going through time was a fun experience! A lot of things were happening but you can easily follow along and not get confused. I can’t wait to see what journey he takes us on next!!

Isra has done it again. In this latest installment, you finally find out about “the event” that keeps being referenced in the previous books. This book brings the series full circle. My heart broke for Isra as she went through these things even though you know that she finds her version of happiness in the earlier books. Like the previous books this book has been written wonderfully, and does not disappoint! I continue to absolutely love this series and its amazing characters!

This is a Crime novel and is 365 pages in length. This story follows Detectives Larson and Sacco of the NYPD. The precinct is overrun with the flu and because of that, everyone is working extra hours. Detective Larson is assigned to a suicide call but upon arrival something seems off. To him it looks more like a homicide than a suicide. Then more “suicides” keep popping up. Something is seriously wrong here and Detective Larson can only hope they are not dealing with a serial killer on the loose.

Stripped is book one in the Stripped series by Stacy-Deanne. There was a lot happening in this story, and at times I was a little lost. Stripped is the first book I have read from this author. I found the writing to be fast paced, energetic and full of, well everything. There was suspense, drama, interesting yet mysterious characters, and more than I have time to mention. The characters mostly were relatable. Some I Liked, some not so much. But all that aside, the story was well written, easy to escape into, and kept the interest and intensity at top level all the way through. A well thought out romantic suspense that was loaded with excitement and spirit. 4 stars.

Bared by N.D. Jackson was full of friendship and so many feelings that I was overwhelmed with emotions. I am still new to this author (only my 2nd book) but her writing has a way of pulling you in with wonderful characters and her attention to details in her storytelling. I felt there were two relationships in the spotlight – Tru and Athena and the girls of Green Street (I want the Green Street Girls to be my friends!). Bared broke my heart and then had me crying as I put it back together. I can’t wait for the other Green St Girls to find their HEAs. Remember to live your life!

J. D. Spero does not disappoint in this the second book of the Boy Series. This story felt real as we all have people we know, fighting similar situations. This story is through and fast paced. I could not put it down. I enjoyed book 1 and looked forward to this one. I experienced many emotions while reading the story of Ty and Hens. Dangerous Curves Boxed Set #1 (Dangerous Curves Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery . This is a great boxed set. Its the story of Sunshine Baker the town librarian and her quest to find the money that was stolen from the Library’s annual fundraiser. She and her friends end up in the middle of a mystery. Book 2 is Mystery at the Marina and its about Sunshine and her friends trying to find out what is causing all kinds of sea life to wash up dead on the shore and the 3rd book is Shooting at the Shore which is about Willa Bruce Monroe’s death who was very much against the new development that is coming to town. Sunshine and her friends once again are racing against the clock to find out who is guilty. This is a fun, clean, murder mystery set that will keep you reading til you are finished!
Cursed Touch is the fourth book in a series and a paranormal romance. I have to admit that this is the first book that I have read by this author, and I absolutely fell in love with it! I cannot wait to read more in this series. It was easy to pick up and read as a stand alone as well. The story line follows the brother, Carter, as he finds loves in the place that he lasted expected; the ER where he works. He can’t stop thinking about her from there. And fate finds them together again.
I love how the author, A.J. Renee, weaves you into this tale of fantasy with witches, magic, and supernatural abilities. I lost myself in the world of these two characters as they learn their place in this world and with each other. The details that Renee spins into this story line are amazing! I feel like I am getting to watch this unfold in front of my eyes! What a great book!

What is there to say? Stripped(Stripped Series book 1) by Stacy-Deanne was interestingly captivating, a story about a murder with a forbidden fruit sub-plot. We meet Dee, a Baltimore homicide detective, who just recently partnered with her least favorite person in the precinct Connie. Unfortunately for Dee, the case Connie and her responded to involves her ex Grayson Paul as a prime suspect. Grayson Paul being in her life once again puts a strain on her current relationship with Winston. Dee dealing with that strain finds herself drawn to the next suspect on the list, Jonathan Wild. When Dee and Connie go to visit his compound, Jonathan makes it his mission to get Dee to join The Circle aka his family. Once Jonathan is able to get Dee alone she struggles with her attraction to his life and world. Jonathan being a forbidden fruit she knows is completely wrong for her but can’t stay away. A page turner in its own right, you want to know what Dee will do next. Will she fight for her relationship with Winston? Will she give into Jonathan’s advances and manipulation? Will she be able to see clearly enough, to break the case Connie and herself are working? Is Grayson responsible for Autumn’s demise? Did her past involvement with Jonathan become her undoing? All that and so many more questions will have you unwilling to put the book down till you have your answers. Another excellent book in this series. I truly have enjoyed the author’s attention to detail in each installment. And boy was I ever rooting for the main characters in this book! From beginning to end, filled with the paranormal characters I enjoy and a great quick storyline. Paranormal lovers will enjoy this book and series.

I really loved Hold Me Forever. Lark’s story was so beautiful and Lea Nolan’s characters are bright and funny. This is the third book in the Heron Harbor series and I want to go back to the beginning and read them all. This is such an easy to read, beach and summer fun book. Mike and Madeline are Private Investigators that have five other books. They are looking into a couple of cases in this book. I feel like I should go back and read the other books to understand all the references to the past. One of the current cases has a tie back to the past. The story is well written and the characters are believable. I will have to say the only down side to this book for me was that I had it figured out early in the book so it was a little hard to finish reading the book. I do like series but for this one I need to start at the beginning to get the full effect I think.

I loved Athena’s personality. I loved Tru and his Ma. I loved the dialog with Indigo and Gwyn towards Athena’s decisions (or lack of).
This was a quick read. I couldn’t put it down. There was steam. There was emotion.

As a huge fan of sci-fi, I really loves this book. Set between multiple characters, it can be hard to follow at times and to find the major connection between them. The end product was incredible and makes those connections apparent. I took one star off because I felt there could have been less characters or the flow between them could have been better. I also was thrown by the fact that very few contractions were used, making the dialogue kind of stunted. Overall I really did enjoy this book and am looking forward to reading the next installment now that I know the connections.

This was a great young adult novel! It has been a little while since I picked up a young adult novel because I wasn’t sure it could capture my attention as well. Sweet Nightmares by Chynna Pace had no problem pulling me in! I finished this book in under a day!!
Following the emotional trail that Alex leaves dealing with her mom’s death and having a rude Grandma and trying to care for her sister and learning truly shocking pieces of herself and her heritage, it leaves you a little raw after reading. Chynna Pace spares no word while feeding you emotions to match Alex’s and sometimes Zoey’s. Their story is just starting and by the end of the book, they know it too. This is such a great setup to book 2, but if you don’t plan on reading book 2, you will after the ending!

The Marcy series box set by Linda Burson fantastic four-star reads. Rage, Confusion and Agony and Ecstasy complete the Marcy series, this series was good, and it shows us Marcy is a strong character and she shows us her strength of character that will surprise you at times, but it will also show you how great the writing and character development is by this author. These stories have their ups and downs and suspense a plenty as well as drama, there is a love triangle, so that’s kinda a given. But there’s another side as well, a deeper side that’s filled with a depth and drama you don’t see often, its well written and compelling and makes a very fast paced story easy to grasp. Overall, they are very good stories, they just missed that something special that blew me away.

Repair by Trish Williford is a great romance novel that has all dreamy aspects of romance! While I read a lot of romance novels, I haven’t come across one with the “fixer” ideal. I have to be honest, this wasn’t 100% my bread and butter. I normally read very fast paced romance books, and while this book doesn’t quite fit into that category, falling in love with the characters slowly was a very nice experience.
The book follows the normal “I’m your big bro’s best bud, therefore I can’t have you” storyline you day-dream about, but Trish Williford doesn’t stop at just romance in this book. She tackles all the feelings of self-doubt and issues that men go through with Tank. She gives us the dark sides of the characters so we can fall in love with the people and not just their story. This was such a well written book! @karenmmarsh

HER DARK LOVE (DARK SPELL SERIES Book 4) by ISRA SRAVENHEART. This is the 4th book in the Dark Spell Series and its so good. Its the story of Isra and Everlida as they being their studies at Wingdom’s Academy to learn the art of magic. At the age of 17 students learn how to perfect their magic powers and how to use them. Lady Isra was not always bad she once used her powers for good. This tells the story of how it all began and explains more about the other books. Its a fast paced keep you up all night read. Isra is not a very social person but she does befriend Everlida and later on Johnathan. Isra is not sure about Johnathan but decides to meet up with him not knowing he’s been seeing Everlida as well. Can they stop Isra from becoming dark and how will they be able to stop it. This super intriguing read full of magic, emotions and love is amazing. Read it today!

This is one of the best crime books I’ve read this year. Action-packed and a definite page turner, Nick is one of my favorite characters because he is real and moody. He is deep and has a personality that just makes him feel real. The story feels like something that could have been taken from the headlines. I would have though Nick might have passed on this case because Angie killed herself, but he pushed through. Along with the stress of the case, he has his “girlfriend,” Laura, who is trying to get her psychopath twin sister out of her life. What a challenge Nick has to overcome, but he does. He keeps pursuing the case and looking for those clues. The plot and descriptions work with the story also. The story leaves you breathless at times. You might forget you are holding your breathe at times. You feel like you’re on a roller coaster. This is a must for lovers of crime stories. Highly recommend.
