This series has been nothing but amazing from the first book and I absolutely squeal when I see a new book is out. This book was about Nico and Mia from a rival family. When Nico finds Mia on his porch he doesn’t know if he should listen to what she has to say or kill her. Luckily he goes with the right choice. This book definitely keep my fully interested and wow some of those things were not expected. I’m a huge fan of this author and cannot wait for more!
I haven’t read any work by this author but, that is going to change really soon. I really enjoyed reading this book. Dom is the ultimate bad boy who sounds like he just needs to find someone to make him legit. Leah has had a rough past. When Don steals Leah’s car, she jumps in the car and now he has kidnapping under his belt. He decides to let her go but runs into her again and they start to hang out being they have mutual friends. When Leah’s past comes back to haunt her, the only person to have on her side is none other then Dom! Will he help her or will she fall victim to those out to hurt her. I loved the ending of this book and cannot wait to read more from this talented author
I was drawn into Forget to Remember Me by the music aspect. Not because the main male character was a popstar, but because of my love for music and how the author presents the theme throughout. Music is a powerful thing and should be admired, appreciated, and respected for what it is. Those who can successfully make music are geniuses in their own right. For those reasons and those reasons alone that’s why I was drawn to and absolutely loved this book. I’m not overshadowing the bullying factor and theme but it’s the music theme that captured me. It was hook, line, & sinker, I didn’t have a chance. Wesley and Addison were torn apart by a traumatic event that happened when they were in high school. Unfortunately part was due to misunderstandings and circumstances surrounding the incident. 10 years later a chance to start over fresh. Does Addison continue to keep that a safe distance? A love that never died, one she is well aware of, but for Wesley he doesn’t understand it. That only pushes him closer to her. Music brought these two together, bullying tore them apart. Can music be what brings them back to one another, or will it kill what’s renewed? Did I forget to mention, I love this author! Not the first book I’ve read and definitely won’t be the last!

This book was a non stop read that keeps you guessing until the end! With plenty of oh wow plot twist I read this book in a day. I could not put it down needing to know what would happen to Vin, Rosie and Cate. Your heart will ache for each character for very different reasons. I love that there was a mixture of each persons past in the story to give you a sense of who they are. You will also find a reason to despise each character, some more than others. This story shows the reality of what happens when tragedy strikes and how us as humans handle it. We all have secrets, some are just heavier than others. Will definitely read more from this author!

Love this book! I am an avid horror/thriller reader, Dean Koontz and Stephen King among my favorite authors. This book has so many twists I almost couldn’t keep up. Addie and Wesley had a past, but it was forgotten by Wesley. Most of his career was thanks to Addie, but he didn’t know. This series is one of my all time favorites! I love learning about each member of the Chicago 5 and their wives and Aldo love that the author wrote about the romances of those family members who aren’t the bosses. This is the 7th book of the series, about Nico and and Mia. Nico is the quiet one and Mia is the daughter of one of the New York bosses. Mia has been learning about the Chicago families and finds a special strength in Nico as she looks at pictures and prays he will help her. When Mia escapes her basically captive life, she finds her way to Nico and proposes marriage of convenience. Will these two make it together or not? There are some twists and turns. You won’t be disappointed!
This book pulled all my emotions out and stomped all over them! What an awesome read and such a Rollercoaster!!! I was captivated right from the start and I really couldn’t have put it down if I had tried! So well written with characters that make you think! I loved the dark of this book just as much as the light!

This was a fast paced read and enjoyable. This is 3.5 in the series and you can read it as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order to get to know the characters.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Liminal Space is the second book in the Antipodes Series. The author knows how to create a world where the readers can get lost in. This book is amazing and I really think you’ll enjoy it.
Cam is back with the people he’s missed dearly. He and his girl are expecting their first child together. He’s not sure how to handle that and wishes his parents were there. The quote I chose for Cam is: “I thought it was odd too. But if it houses an antipodal point, and it evidently does, then it makes sense, doesn’t it?”
Lae is with Cam and is pregnant. She’s heard of the tales and is happy he’s home. Now she’s got to make him realize that he’s where he belongs. This is the first book I’ve read by the author. The Secret Cure is a fantastic book. It had me hanging on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. A love triangle that may turn bad.
Rosalie is no longer able to move. Something happened and now she can’t move or speak. Then a miracle happens. She can move. She can also speak. Now it’s a secret from her husband. The quote I chose for Rosie is: “He’s having an affair.”
Vin is Rosie’s husband and isn’t happy that his wife is no longer able to do the things she loves. He goes to a therapist only for him to fall in love again. Can he keep the two of them separate from each other without Rosie finding out? The quote I chose for Vin is: “Rosie, I’m going to do it. This is a sign. I’m not waiting any longer. I’m taking you to Taormina. I don’t care what it costs. We’ll go soon.”
They were friends once, but something happened in their younger years to make Wesley forget six months of his life. Addie was blamed for the incident so she kept her distance and watched from afar all these years. She watched as her once best friend finished his schooling and rose to fame with songs they wrote together. A song book that had been published a decade prior is found by Wesley’s team and Addie is sued for plagiarism. Instead of fighting the lawsuit she writes a check to settle the debt and go about her life. Only when she leaves the building she comes face to face with the one person she doesn’t expect to see in the flesh. Will Addie and Wesley be able to overcome their painful past and make new memories? This book was at times an emotional read, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

What a cute little romance! Lots of fluff! I do believe this is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I will be back for more! It’s a very quick read, I think I finished it in about an hour. The author does a fantastic job of sucking the readers in, I honestly lost track of time while I was reading. It’s a very refreshing romance. I read a lot of the darker types of romances, so having a little fluffy one was super nice for a change. Definitely finished it with a happy heart! Highly recommend it!!!

This was a short but cute romance that had a great flow to it. Katie is working her fingers to the bone at a job that she loved but is still unfulfilled. Her first love, Chase, is back in their hometown raising his nephew and thinks he’s successfully gotten Katie out of his mind and heart. After Katie flies back into town for a wedding, there are obvious sparks between them and they’re both torn with what to do. Can they somehow find a way to reunite or is does the past need to stay that way?
The author does a great job diving into the feelings of the characters and pulling at emotional strings. I loved the little parts of Katie remembering her childhood and little things she had done with her sister and parents. I recommend this if you’re looking for a quick, feel-good romance!

The gripping dystopian romance set in the aftermath of a global outbreak continues in this second book in the series. The adventures of main character, Cam Mackintosh, who was one of a select group of highly skilled young people to have been selected by Australian scientists, to establish a sustainable island community, continues. Cam is now happily married and content with his new life on Lewis, and is working as an active member of the community. Just as life is becoming mundane for Cam, he learns that someone he loves may also still be alive. Cam decides to go on a journey to find this person, but along the way he discovers the true value of family and loyalty. The bleak and challenging post apocalyptic world is once again brought vividly to life by the authors descriptive narrative, making me feel immersed in Cam’s world. Cam is a very likeable and relatable main character and I was pleased to carry on his journey with him, and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Dark, emotional, traumatic romance. This book will draw in readers that like BDSM, please not there is also mental health, child abuse, suicide, physical violence triggers.
Alice has a tendency to push people away, say things to ruin relationships just to keep everyone and arms length. She struggles with borderline personality disorder, makes questionable decisions and fights her inner demons. She is hesitant to let anyone in, especially another Dom.
Reuben also has his own struggles and an ugly past that he tries to hide under is hard wall of cockiness and confidence. Reuben is hard core into BDSM and has been dreaming of his perfect girl for years, but the one thing he cannot stand is a brat.
These two worlds collide in this beautifully written raw romance. They way Reuben helps Alice through her episodes and struggles is really beautiful, the patience and the way he talks to her is amazing. If you are looking for smut, kink, BDSM and romance this book is for you. I loved all 1139 pages of this story.

I think this is one more addition to my list of favorites. The story is fast paced, high energy and down right suspenseful. I loved it! This is Nico and Mia’s story. Both from different Mafias, both mafias are enemies. So who is jumping ship, who is seeking help and will this be a good idea? So many questions, so intense and so worth reading. Be prepared to open all emotions and once you read page one you will not be able to put this book down. This author continues to surprise me. Her books are well written and loaded with excitement. The characters are likable and the women are always strong and independent. Mia is no different, she has to make choices that most women would never even try. This is a fantastic series, I recommend you start at the first book and follow along. Get to know the characters as well as the author. Or you can start with book 7, you will be pleased either way.
Trigger warning – please check the note by the author before reading. For those over the age of 18. This is a well-written romance. The steam rises; there is a bit of BDSM and erotic romance. Reuben has been dreaming of Alicia for 24 years. Now that he’s found her, he wants this to work. You can feel the struggle as they work for this. The characters are well-defined. The plot and topics are well researched. Though an uncomfortable read at times, the topics do need to be brought up as they are part of the story. This was a very good story that needed to be told. I do recommend it.

Wow, this book has several twists and turns! It kept me on the edge of my seat and I wasn’t able to put this book down until I finished it from the very beginning. I love the author’s notes at the end of this book too, going over some safety tips while discussing how some of the scenarios came about for this book. I highly recommend this one and it’s definitely in my top 3 for book of the year for 2022!!

This is a heartfelt story of young love, loss (in various forms), and confronting the past to heal. The story was captivating and held my attention from beginning til end. As the truth began coming out, it seems there was more to the story than either of them remember. You could feel Addie’s heartbreak, Wesley’s confusion and frustration, and the love they both have for each other. A well written book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading.

Another great book from one of my favorite authors. I have read many books by this author and I am never let down. I love how she is able to blend romance with drama and action. There is never a dull moment in one of her books. The characters are complex and interesting. They have chemistry that just pulses off of the pages. I was totally hooked from the first page and did not want to put this book down.
I have found I like to read mafia romances as it the world that the author builds draws the reader in and you are taken away vicariously into a life one would not normally have. I like the complexity of the plots and characters. I like being able to get lost in the story and the happy ending. I will definitely read more from this author in future.
Looking at the reviews before I read this book, it seemed that this is the story that so many people were waiting for. I was kind of worried that I may a bit lost by reading the 7th book in the series having not read any of the others but that was not the case. Although I can sense that there are other great stories that I now want to read, this book can be read as a standalone easily as the author fills any gaps there may have been. I really need to read some of the other books by this author now as I absolutely loved Evan and Callie’s story. As someone who suffers badly with mental health issues I could relate to Evan so much. I just wanted to give that man a huge hug. The author does an amazing job of handling Evan’s mental health journey. I loved how she showed just how much the love and support of those around him, in particular Callie, allowed Evan to work through his issues. This is so much more than a romance story, although I loved the romantic side of Evan, added to the fact that this is a very sexy story at times. Evan and Callie are amazing characters and I could have read about them for hours and hours. Well worth the 5 stars!!

After reading Insatiable Darkness, I couldn’t wait to read this book and the author did not disappoint. EmVee and her father are now on the run. EmVee isn’t quite human and things are as they were. Loving this series so far.

Well I feel like a broken record, lol. I have said the same about the last 6 books in this series, I loved it. This is my favorite mafia romance series I have read. In Rivals, this is about Mia, one of the New York mob boss’ daughter. Mia grew up sheltered by her father, Joey, and abused by her step-brother Ricco. Her family is not a respected mafia family and she also come to learn about her family’s hand in a sex traffiking ring. Mia wants out and her freedom but her only way to do that is to escape. Mia needs to escape and find Nico La Rosa for protection through marrying him. Since they are technically not allies, Nico has a hard time trusting her when she shows up demanding this marriage. However, the benefits seem to outweigh the red flags. The two of them, after marriage, work to take down her old family. During this process, the two of them find out that they actually have come to care for each other, which completely surprises Nico since he never thought he would marry. Are the two of them able to take down the New York family and find the love Mia never thought she would have? I have already said it, I loved this book in the series. Once again, the author always knows how to blend love, loyalty, protection, and strong characters into an amazing romance story. Mia is great. While she may have been sheltered, she still grew up in the mafia life and could kick some major ass. She is extremely cunning and a strong character. Nico, just like the rest of the Chicago family mafia men, is amazing. He is a calm present, but deadly. Nico is also low key caring, protective, but also a lover who values honesty and freedom. He never takes that freedom away from Mia, even when he is not trusting her fully. The two of them did not have much banter because of their circumstances, but the author progressed their story so well, the love just shown through the whole story. If you have not read any of these mafia books yet, you are missing out.
